I'm from out of state and got married in Portsmouth a few weeks ago. I found The Cake Gallery online and sent an email. Paul responded quickly and was able to meet my cake needs even though it was short notice. I found cupcakes on the website that went perfect with our sea glass themed wedding! I was so excited and extremely happy with the final product! The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place for your special occasion or even just for a sweet treat! Can't wait to stop in for a cupcake next time I'm in the area. It's not often that a 2-year-old's birthday cake produces audible gasps from guests, but our sheep birthday cake from The Cake Gallery was absolutely spectacular in every way, from the first look to the last bite. I initially inquired about the cake via email and Paul was prompt and helpful. I emailed a photo I found on Pinterest of what we would like, and the end result was even better than we could have ever hoped for. The cake was even more lovely than the concept photo I sent and absolutely delicious. My daughter was so happy when she saw it, she started jumping up and down. We will order every special occasion cake from Cake Gallery from here on out.

I ordered a cake over the phone from out of state. I found him online and emailed several bakeries in the area. He was quick to respond and helpful by making suggestions to create the perfect cake. The final product met my expectations. Besides being beautiful, the cake was very moist and delicious. I also ordered gluten free cupcakes for my very picky sister-in-law and she loved them.

I got a small white cake with cookies and cream filling and chocolate frosting. It was absolutely delicious, beautifully decorated and worth every penny. I put in my order for the same day and they accommodated me with no problem. They have a variety of baked goods in addition to their cakes that are worth checking out as well.

Needed a cake for my parents' 50th anniversary. Spoke with Tony who helped steer us in the right direction. We all wanted a cake that was not too sweet and he suggested the white cake with strawberry filling and their whipped cream frosting. Absolutely the right choice and absolutely one of the best cakes any of us have had. The cake was dense but moist and not too heavy and neither the filling nor the frosting was too sweet. The non cake eaters in our family have been having a piece every day, which is a huge compliment in itself. We highly recommend The Cake Gallery!

My story goes like this. I wanted to try somewhere different for a birthday cake as I usually go to Stop & Shop (they make pretty good cakes!) or Gregg's and I wanted to be adventurous this time. My wife told me she had heard of a bakery in Bristol that made good cakes (although she couldn't remember the name of it), so I fired up the ole' Yelp app and lo and behold I found The Cake Gallery with their numerous five star reviews. I stopped by on Friday before closing and asked if I could grab a cake for the Saturday birthday celebration and was dismayed when I was told that they make their cakes to order so they didn't have anything, but to try calling on Saturday morning in case they had an extra cake. I trudged back to Seekonk, called Saturday morning, and the man who picked up the phone said they had an extra white cake...yah! He helped me decide on buttercream frosting and fudge truffle filling, and when I picked it up at 3pm I was impressed with just how beautiful it looked. Long story short (or maybe long story long), everyone enjoyed the cake and I can't wait to try them again for the next birthday celebration, although next time I'll order in advance and will try one of their many specialty cakes. Just picked up my third cake that I have had made at cake gallery. Now their cakes are delicious but the service is terrible. Starting from cake number one I ordered after graduating from nursing school and I wanted a medical themed cake with band aids pills, the employee would not let me do what I wanted he said why would you want band aids that's gross. isn't it about costumer service? The second cake I bought was extremely declious no issues. The third one I placed and order for a marble cake and they said they could not do marble..well how bout vanilla? Nope! They could only do chocolate? Why I don't know? I requested how I wanted the cake to be and to use some creativity..I wouldn't say dots on a cake dots is creative. So I would give 4 stars for the taste but they really lose it with costumer service it's all about pleasing a costumer, I'm paying for the cake I should get what I ask for.

We just had our first cake from here and everyone loved it. It was a red velvet birthday cake. Not only did it taste great but it was so beautifully decorated. Being able to order a smaller than standard size cake was an added bonus. Tomorrow I am going back to get some cannolis.

I came to Yelp to find a great cake for my twins' graduation. We are so tired of grocery store cakes. I found the cake gallery, ordered on Tuesday for Friday pickup. I was afraid that wasn't enough time, but the person I talked to said no problem! The kids wanted a marble cake with cookies and cream filling. It was gorgeously decorated and delicious! I will never get a grocery store cake again! Unfortunately I was pressed for time and had to send the twins to pick up their own cake, so I didn't get to see the shop itself.

This is a cute little bakery, that despite the name, does a whole lot more than cakes. They've got cupcakes, pies, pastries, even cafe' drinks. I haven't tried anything except their cupcakes, but they're delicious. Try to get in at the beginning of the day though, cause they run out pretty quickly by the end of the day (I think they close at 6). Just yesterday I got to try their lemon cupcake and their berry berry cupcake. The cake was angelfood, the fillings were lemon and blueberry, and the flavor was deeeelicious. After trying one, I went back and bought them out, so I could bring some back for everyone else. For real. Yum. I also hear their cannolis are awesome, but I haven't had a chance to try one yet. Oh and they're super cheap, a little over $2 each.

I live near New Bedford and have yet to find a good cake bakery in the area and I needed one for a very special birthday party.I checked Yelp and i found one in Swansea right outside of Fall River. Took the drive and it was closed for august(so glad it was cause I found the cake gallery because of it).Checked Yelp again in the car and the Cake Gallery came up in Bristol. so we drove even further to Bristol and found the shop. Spoke with Paul I believe and he made some great suggestions. He even noticed the logo on my shirt which was part of the event and he said he could do it. Went back a couple days later and picked up the most amazing looking cake. Colors were amazing and the frosting was iridescent . The logo was fantastic. Everyone raved about the cake at the party. It was rich and moist and the flavors great. Paul was fantastic. Thank you. I will have to problem heading back to Bristol for other cakes.

The Cake Gallery is a very nice bakery. All their cakes are delicious! They offer so many fillings and cake flavors with endless possibilities. My favorite cake flavor has to be their yellow with strawberry filling. Also, I would highly recommend the chocolate cake with oreo filling. Their frosting is very light, they but just enough on the cake without having to take some off. They also have delicious cupcakes. They are very oversized and filled with fillings such as strawberry, creme, lemon etc. Everything has been delicious! I would recommend The Cake Gallery to any wishing to have a cake for any celebration ( including weddings). Also, if you feel like treating yourself to a cupcake, this is the place to go.

I ordered a 1/2 sheet cake for my mother-in-law's 101 birthday. It was beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious. It was carrot cake with a cream cheese/buttercream frosting. All at the party wanted to know where we bought the cake. And the staff at the Cake Gallery was most helpful in the decision making process.

I chose this bakery for my wife's birthday cake SOLELY on the two (five star) reviews on this location here in Yelp. I called on a Sunday for a cake on Monday. The gentleman (I believe the owner) told me that they would be closed on Monday, but he could have a birthday cake ready before they closed (that was in TWO HOURS!!) I was happy to hear this - and ordered a white cake with butter-cream frosting... I showed up promptly two hours later to find the cake waiting. The MOST important part of this story is that my wife LOVED the cake. It was pretty AND very tasty. The butter-cream was out of this world. I will try to attach a photo... HIGHLY recommended!!

I have purchased al least 6 cakes from this bakery -- and every one of them has been amazing. The Peanut Butter Blast is a must-have for anyone who enjoys a Reese's cup. Their coconut and lemon cakes just may be perfect -- as is the carrot cake! The people who work there are helpful and friendly, and the baked goods are reasonably priced for the quality and size of the item.
