Their sandwiches are amazing, the pizza and wings are pretty good too. Staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. They have beer and wine as well which is nice. Would def recommend to anyone in the area.

Good food. Good Pizza. My fiance and I have been in several times since moving to town this past spring and have yet to be disappointed. We've tried various things on the menu from calzones to subs and everything has been delicious. I'm not so sure about the pizza. I haven't had it recently but I remember it being pretty good when I was younger. (I grew up here) We also like the fact that whenever we've been in, the gentleman working makes sure to say hello and let's us know that he remembers us. I highly suggest stopping in for a bite if you're hungry!

Fast service Efficient, friendly, helpful wait staff Great Location Great interior decor & layout Spacious Counter Service Plenty of 2,4,6, tables Booth seating Great views of Hope & State Street I walked in & immediately was greeted by wait staff behind counter. It's Counter service & they deliver to your table. I picked up a menu & then decided to ask what was popular or their favorites. I decided on the classic cold Italian grinder. It came out Lickety split fast. Perfect sub roll which is integral to a *great* sub Moist so that it sucks up the vinaigrette but chewy enough that it won't fall apart. Capiccola Ham, Genoa Salami, Green peppers, shred lettuce, white onion, tomato, s&p, vinaigrette. The sandwich was *yummy* including the vinaigrette. Perfectly proportioned & balanced. Place was classically, simply furnished, inviting & clean. Had a relaxing, casual pizza/sub joint vibe. Good lighting including lots of natural light from paned windows. Definitely Family Friendly. Great place to come for lunch of dinner. Not Divey. Has a good selection of menu items: Appetizers Pizza Subs Stromboli Calzones Italian pasta entrees aka spaghetti etc Kids menu

I hit up this Bristol spot for lunch on a weekly basis. Not so much for the pizza, which is pretty good, but for their great salads and sandwiches. One of my favorites is the grilled chicken pita. It is marinated and seasoned chicken, grilled with peppers, onions and mushrooms put in a fluffy greek-style gyro pita. I usually get mine with provolone cheese and its the perfect, not-too-heavy lunch.

Bristol House of Pizza is awesome. It is right downtown. They have amazing wings! It takes a little while sometimes for the order to get to the table, but it is worth it.

The Bristol House of Pizza (also know as B-Hop, by the locals) is your average run of the mill sub/pizza/calzone place. But it has some great aspects that make this my go to sub shop. Firstly, this place is great value. A small sub will put you back $6 - $7 and a large $9 - $10. A small sub for me is all I need to fill me up, but I will by a large if I am looking to get two meals out of the sub. Secondly, the bread they use for their subs is either baked freshly there or delivered fresh every morning, because it is high in quality. Thirdly, the location is great. Located right on State St. in the middle of downtown Bristol, this is a place you can go for a cheap lunch while visiting the town for a day. It is within walking distance of everything. Fourthly, they do sell booze (wine and beer) which is nice for a place that has pizza and subs. I personally will have a beer or wine with a sub or a slice, so having that as an option puts this above a lot of the places in the area. Those are the best aspects of "B-Hop". There are some draw backs. The staff is friendly, most of the time. When they are busy they can be a little short with customers and their stress really shows through in their actions and dialog. One of my recommendations to the staff is that they continually remember that they are "on stage" and always being observed by the customers. The system could be set up better also. It seems that those in the front are cooking pizza, making sandwiches, and helping customers. Honestly, I am not even sure what the kitchen staff does in the back. Overall, though this is my go to place for subs.

Absolutely awful. I had a slice of cheese pizza. $2.43 for a very small slice. I have had much better frozen pizza. It tasted like cardboard with cheese. If everything they make taste like that it must be hideous.

I had a pizza from there, it was greasy, vinegary and sauce was blah! I never threw out pizza before, but this one I did! I'll never go back there!

Bristol House of Pizza, aka B-Hop, is a Bristol icon. The Gatos' have owned and operated this family style location for decades which was renovated last year to include the adjacent building...creating much more needed seating. It's your typical Greek style HOP, with the usual sandwich and pizza menu. Everything here is pretty decent and their menu is appropriately priced. It's centrally located in downtown Bristol and within a short walk to shops and Bristol Harbor. It's a must stop on a Bristol excursion.

BHOP is a Bristol staple! Beautiful location downtown, walking distance from the water. Pizza is amazing and fairly priced. Staff is super friendly - total family business vibe. New renovations added tons of seating. We used to come with a bunch of kids after baseball practice and they were always so accommodating. ORDER THE STEAK BOMB!

Family pizza Nothing terribly special Not too bad, either Bristol House of Pizza, or B-Hop as the locals call it (okay maybe only me) does one thing well: hearty portions. The food isn't particularly amazing, but it will definitely satisfy a group any and all groups of little leaugers you might bring in here on a spring evening. I find everything there a little too dry for me. I'm not sure if it's cooked too long, if there isn't enough oil in the dough or what, but everything with a roll or dough is just too crisp and flaky for my liking. Most of the sandwiches are toasted as a rule, and if I don't remember to ask them not to do so I'm alawys disappointed. The pizza is nothing to come back for, but it'll do if you're wavering between what to eat in Bristol and just can't make up your mind. There's plenty of seating indoors, and they do serve a few beers and wines, so it's not just a grab and go sort of place. As far as prices, everything is super reasonable, with only the stromboli and large pizzas cracking $8. The place won't put a hurt on your wallet, but it won't dazzle your taste buds either.

I have to agree with Lou P. Bristol House of Pizza is decent enough -- you'll get full, but it's not going to blow your socks off. The pizza is a touch greasy, and there is something dry about the crust. A decent enough choice if you need a slice or the best BBQ pizza this side of the Mississippi. I say that having never had BBQ pizza in Boston or New York, mind you.

I'll tell you what, this place has pretty good pizza, but it does a number on my stomach and requires a few Tums. I've also gotten a salad or two from here and it's all been pretty good, but the pizza is my favorite. Also a fan of the Bristolian and Papa Joe's Wrap Shack, but they're all somewhat different so it depends what you like. Bristol House of Pizza is traditional, their sauce is a little sweet. PJWS is very thin crust with a sweeter sauce also, and the Bristolian makes awesome specialty pizzas. If you're going to cheese pizza, I'd go here or Papa Joes.

It's a popular place for college kids to go, decent food at good prices. The place is decent not great pizza but not bad and they have a long menu. It's located in the center of Bristol and I guess you can't go wrong if you eat here. I just prefer to eat some great seafood if im on the ocean in the good old town of Bristol.

Classic "pizza joint" with decidedly average pizza. On my last visit the crust tasted frozen w/ that kinda carboard-esque quality that I recall from cafeteria pizza in high school. The Greek Salad underwhelmed as well. Kind of a bummer.

Bristol House of Pizza is perfect after an afternoon of surfing or any other activity that builds up a basic primal hunger. They serve everything, not just pizza. Wings are just okay, pretty good pizza, pretty good club sandwiches. The location is great, and eating outside on one of their little tables with the docks in view is nice. As far as small town grub goes, this is easily better than average.

I have had so much better pizza! It was alright, I was hoping for more. Very little sauce with very little flavor. The inside looks nice though and phone service was quick and polite. I will probably give it another shot, but as of right now.. totally unimpressed.

I went in a little hungry and waddled out totally stuffed. The food is great and the service is friendly. I will go back whenever am in Bristol and need pizza or a sandwhich. I had a large meatball and sausauge and split it with a friend. It was huge and we had to make ourselves finish it. I was too good to leave any! The only thing that I didn't like was you get your own drinks from a cooler. I thought it was weird but hey that is just how it is. I was stuffed walking around in downtown Bristol but happy. Check it out!

Ran in here tonight for a quick bit and was definitely impressed. Kept it simple and tried their Greek Salad and Small Pizza with chicken. Overall quality, value and atmosphere was definitely solid. The pizza is slightly greasy with a nice cheese to crust balance (not too thick or thin). The right "crispiness" makes this a slice worth having. Keep in mind Bristol House of Pizza is a classic, no frills local pizza shop with a dozen tables and an 8-10 seat counter you can grab a slice at. Recommended.
