The bagels and bagel chips here are super tasty! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Great bagels, great spreads, everyone is friendly, always clean and if you're as lucky as I have been, you get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Browne

Sausage egg and cheese is good. Salt bagels are wonderful. Got an iced cappuccino and the milk was sour and the drink was undrinkable. Almond twist was doughy/chewy with no real almond paste to speak of. Stick with the breakfast sandwiches/bagels and black coffee and you'll have a better experience than I

Holy deliciousness, Batman! That was my first thought upon biting into my everything asiago bagel with low fat cream cheese. What a great bagel! There was a ton of varieties to choose from as well as many cream cheese options. Sandwiches are also made on a bagel for lunch. The muffins, pastries and cinnamon rolls looked fantastic. Coffee is available by the cup and bag.I'll be back to get a bag of the coffee from Veteran Roasters. Service was fast and friendly. The shop is cute inside with plenty of seating and lots of large windows. There is also outdoor seating in the warmer months. I'll be back!

If you are craving a soft and chewy bagel, this is your place. The works bagel and works bagel with asiago are some of our favorites. Try the scallion cream cheese on either and your morning will immediately improve.

Local vibe, great food, and great service. They offer interesting varieties of flavors of bagels, and they have good sandwiches. The cinnamon rolls aren't super sweet, which appeals to me, but not to everyone. They also offer a good selection of drinks, juice, milk, coffee, organic teas... They've really got it down to an art. And looking fir a cheap snack, they sell bagel chips for $2.50 a bag... Nomnom

I am a bagelholic and I still have not found better bagels than the ones they offer! Everything is so fresh and toasted to perfection. I've neglected the famous Bagel Boys of Aquidneck island and now have devoted myself to this amazing bagel shop!

Rhode Island offers many great cuisines, but bagels in the area are extremely lacking (as noted by this former NY'er), or so I thought until I stumbled into Bristol Bagel Works. This place is adorable (read: small and quaint, but still cute), with some seating inside, and local artwork hanging on the walls for purchase. The bagels though, oh the bagels. They had me at asiago-everything bagels. Oh. Em. Gee. Prices, well...I couldn't even tell you. I was so pleasantly surprised by good bagels that they could have charged me $20 a pop and I probably still would have bought them. A+!!

It is definitely the best bagel in the area. Always a lot of people, but it is worth the wait for the bagels. There is also a good amount of seating inside. I try to grab a window seat and watch the college kids stroll in hungover with their pajamas or their outfits from the night before. The service is always nice and organized. It seems a bit slow at times, but that is because they do so many orders. Overall, I recommend this place. But, if you are picking up more than 2-3 bagels, I recommend picking up a bag of bagels and cream cheese and doing the toasting at home. If you are hungry, you could definitely eat more than 1.

Really great bagel shop downtown. Also a good place to grab a sandwich at lunch time. Bagels good, coffee good, pastries good.

Best bagel in Rhode Island! The workers are always so friendly and kind. The place is fairly small with a few tables. It is often crowded on the weekends because it's a town favorite. Bagels are comparable in taste to Bruegger's or Einstein Bros Bagels. Lots of flavor, but small bagels. The coffee is not very good, but the bagels are by far the best in the area.

Best bagels in the east bay! Typical bagel prices with great coffee, iced or hot. Including French vanilla!! My favorite personally. Good amount of tables inside, with outside sidewalk chairs, but I believe only on nice days... Sandwiches, etc.. Some pastries with muffins too! Hours are usually 7-2, I believe. Also a ton or flavored cream cheeses to compliment any of their flavor bagels. On the Bristol Fourth of July's parade route, bus route, and historic district with parking in street and a parking lot behind it across from the town hall. Why not grab breakfast, stay for the afternoon to shop, then see the most beautiful lighted tree & snowflake over the street!!! I recommend the onion bagel with plain cream cheese or sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese!! I'm getting hungry. Can't wait for 7am!!!

BBW is a must when you visit Rhode Island! My boyfriend and I always make sure we go there for our farewell meal before we leave the ocean state. The staff is so nice and welcoming and the bagels do not get any better than this! I always get a bacon and egg sandwich on a bagel and it knocks all other sandwiches out of the park! My boyfriend likes to try their exciting flavored bagels such as the cinnamon sugar, blueberry, and cranberry! They really have something for everyone!

I have been devouring bagel sandwiches from BBW since 2006 and they remain one of my favorite things to eat when I'm in the area (in truth, I sometimes reroute my driving just to get a sausage, egg white and cheese on a fresh & chewy multigrain bagel or chicken salad with jalapeño cheese on an everything bagel-soooo good). It's the perfect place for a quick and casual breakfast or lunch and some coffee. Their line is sometimes long, but don't be deterred from going in; the line moves very quickly and everyone is super friendly. If you're in a rush, call in a pick up order (have been doing it forever and never had a problem).

Good food but don't order from the owner on the phone. We were in a rush so we called ahead. When we arrived, there was a line of about 10 people and when we got to the counter we discovered that the owner took our order but left without submitting it to anyone. Disgusted and frustrated so we left and got quick takeout at the Beehive a couple of blocks away.

I come here multiple times a week for an iced coffee and a bagel. I do not have anything negative I can say about it. Its great, period.

How have I not reviewed about my regular breakfast place? It must have slipped my mind. I come here most mornings before work for a lox bagel and iced coffee. I have such a short commute to work that my breakfast options are limited. I'm always running slightly late so going out of my way is not an option either. Is it the best lox sandwich ever? no. Is it the best coffee ever? no.The bagels, however, are always fresh and very soft and chewy and the perfect size. Don't forget to check out the fridge before you pay, if you're early enough you'll be able to grab a fresh fruit cup. They only have a few a day and they go quickly.

these are the best bagels i've had in new england to date. that said, bagels seems to vary geographically, and i'm sort of biased against new england bagels. hailing from NJ, i grew up with a bagel that was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, light overall. while living in MA, i was introduced to the new england version, which is a lot breadier, heavier, not so crispy, not the same bagel. and then there's the quintessential NYC bagel -- very light and crispy, chewy, tasty. i'd like to say that bristol makes their bagels in a new england fashion -- heavier, but tasty, and crispy, and chewy. their spinach bagels taste of fresh spinach. their other bagels promise to be amazing as well. half a dozen for $5! happy!

Good community Inexpensive eatery All made fresh daily This is the sort of bagel place that should be in every smaller town in America. Everything is made in-house, and the staff knows the regulars and their order by name. The bagels here are smaller than, say, Dunkin Donuts and for good reason. They're made from scratch, made by hand, and done fresh daily. They're stout and irregularly shaped, and with 14 varieties (plus 4 varieties of asiago,) there's definitely something for all tastes. They're perfectly chewy on the outside with just a bit of crispness in the crust. All the cream cheese is low-fat making it slightly less guilt inducing to order an everything bagel with veggie spread (a personal favorite.) It's a nice place for lunch too, with several kinds of deli meat and salads all on one of the aforementioned bagels. Breakfast sandwiches are also available too if that's your thing. The place has 10 tables indoors, with two huge front windows for light. There are a few tables outside as well when the weather is nice. There's a $3 limit on credit cards, which you'll easily surpass if you get a bagel and coffee.

The minute you walk into Bristol Bagel Works you can smell the freshness of their delicious bagels. The women behind the counter are so friendly. The inside of BBW is very cozy and family-friendly I usually get a plain bagel lightly toasted with butter ( yes, I know simple but its delicious) . I have also gotten a ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwich on a bagel which too is quite good. One nice thing to do while you are there is to buy a 12-15 bagels ( Plain, cinnamon and cinnamon raison) and freeze them for further use. I would recommend BBW to anyone. It is pleasant for both a morning bite or an afternoon tasty sandwich delight! Who doesn't like a bagel?

I love this place! I went with my boyfriend the other day, and ordered toast (I know--it's bagels! Duh) because I'm trying to eat less carbs and whatnot... they didn't have toast but the woman scooped out the bread leaving me a bagel very close to resembling toast! I really appreciated this and it was delicious... Great service, very timely, good pricing, great location!

This bagel shop is by far one of the best bagel shops around! They are made daily, and there is a wide variety to choose from. They also make their cream cheeses which also has a wide selection. The one thing I hate is the parking situation; the main street they are located on gets rather busy, especially on the weekends. They also can be overlooked which makes this bagel shop a hidden gem! Their everything bagel toasted with their chive cream cheese is my favorite breakfast. I also have heard that their breakfast sandwiches are amazing too!

Wish we lived closer! I got a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and it was really tasty. The bagel was nice and soft on the inside and the blueberry flavor was throughout the whole bagel. Im kinda picky about cream cheese and this was good cream cheese. My husband got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. He said it was very good too. Service was friendly and fast and I was surprised by how many seats and tables there were both inside and outside. Price wise I would say it was really reasonable. For the breakfast sandwich, my bagel, and a drink it was less than $8.

Very good! Bagels sandwiches are delicious. Worth every penny. Wish I would have gone here the other day instead of the wrap shack down the street.

Bristol Bagel always hits the spot. Especially if you had a couple the night before..Good bagels and efficient service with a smile. I enjoy the coffee here myself, but I've only had the iced so I can't speak for all. Order off the numbered bagel special list, usually consisting of such favorites as the combo of turkey, dill havarti, and tarragon mayo or stick with the tradional bagel with cream cheese and of course they serve breakfast sandies. On fridays they offer pizza bagels. They also feature Boars Head brand meat and cheese, yum. When the weather's nice there are a couple cute tables and chairs to sit outside. Just a note that sandwiches are only offered on their homemade bagels, no bread is on offer.

I love this place so much. Their garlic & chive cream cheese is fantastic. Put some of that on a spinach bagel (heated not toasted) and you're good to go. YUM. They are also one of the few places in town that actually has bologna and their bologna sandwich bagel is delish. I've been in here probably 20 or more times both for breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed. I love their bagel bites, which are 6 for $1 I think. Add some cream cheese and you've got a pretty hefty breakfast. Also a fan of their cinnamon buns. They're giant and the frosting comes on the side, so you can do them up however you like.

If you want a delicious bagel, this is the place. If you want a delicious muffin, this is also the place. Bristol Bagel Works is pretty much my gold standard for both bagels and muffins. They have a wide variety of bagel flavors, from sweet (cinnamon sugar) to savory (jalapeno), and they have accompanying cream cheeses to complement the different bagels. The bagels have a crunchy outside, but a soft and succulent inside. Mmm. And the muffins. Oh god. The muffins. The mocha raspberry muffin is probably the best muffin I've ever had. They even have a wonderful unsweetened iced tea. Can it get any better? Unlikely.

Being a native NYC'er, I'm a harsh critic of bagels outside of the NYC metro area. Not to toot our NY horn, but we have some AMAZING bagel shops. I spent a recent weekend during the holidays and after trying the bagels from here for breakfast one morning, I made sure to have them everyday until I left. The bagels here are top notch, are super fresh and are made just right; a nice crusty outside and a warm fluffy inside. The selection here is great, the staff here is really helpful and I love that smell when you first walk in. I'll be coming back to Bristol more and more often now and I'll be sure to stop in here every breakfast I get!

When I was in college at the great RWU, nothing killed a hangover like Bristol Bagel Works. My routine was to get a xtra large coffee from Sip N Dip then a bagel sandwich from this place. There are so many options, from the regular bagel with cream cheese to a bagel with roast beef on the damn thing. They also have some really great bagel sandwiches on a regular basis. I highly reccomend this place and I really do miss it.

Everything is made in house and the bagels are so good! I concur with Dan hit up Sip and Dip for coffee then come to this cute little place and have a fresh bagel and delicious cream cheese outside in the sunshine.

Bristol Bagel Works... works! I must have tried every combination of bagel sandwich they make here. Chicken salad on a spinach bagel, yum! My favorite? Roast beef and dill Havarti on a garlic bagel. This is the place that pried me out of my rigid cream cheese & lox preference and introduced me to the wonders of a bagel sandwich!

The Bristol Bagel Works is a cool little bagel shop. The bagels were a little small compared to other bagel shops in Rhode Island but they were still tasty. If you're visiting Bristol, it's worth stopping by here for a bagel.

Bristol Bagel Works is the place to be on a Saturday morning in Bristol. The bagels are always fresh, their cream cheese selection expansive, and staff always friendly. They even take the time to put my pickle in a to-go baggie for all of my take-out orders. Now that is dedication! My go-to order is the chicken salad on a bagel, which is always fresh and delicious. Also, make sure to take advantage of their day-old bagels which are a great deal.

i probably stop here once every other week. i'm kind of a bagel slut, and the fact that they have hummus here to top the bagels is awesome for us vegans. the bagels are SO GOOD. definitely try the everything and the spinach flavors. spinach is probably my fave. the bagels really are delish! and for all you cheese and meat eaters- they have very tasty sandwiches :) the ambiance here is really nice. the store is painted a cheerful, but not obnoxious, yellow, with lots of large windows so you can appreciate the view, and the people walking by. and in the summer you can eat your bagel outside on their patio furniture, or on the little wall overlooking hope street. it does get crowded here sometimes, but unlike the beehive, it's properly and efficiently dealt with. no matter how busy it gets, it seems like you can always find a table to sit at, at least by the time you've put your order in. luckily the turn over is pretty quick: because how long does it take to eat a bagel? they're really dog friendly too. i've seen them put out a little bowl of water during the hotter days, for customers who are walking their canine companions. i wouldn't be surprised if they had some dog biscuits behind the counter, but that's just speculation. generally, it's a nice little place. oh, hey and they finally are offering soy milk!! so i had to edit that suggestion from my review. hurrah!

The bagels are REALLY GOOD, the only bad thing is if there is a line you will be waiting for a long time, it is worth waiting, but sometimes I got antsy at the slow service.

Quite scrumptious bagels. Favorite combination so far is broccoli cheddar bagel with garlic/herb cream cheese! Very affordable at 2 dollars. Cute interior, friendly staff, and a nice clean bathroom!!

Bristol Bagel Works's bagels are perfect for sandwiches and they do a really good job at making them. They make combo bagels (ie. Asiago/Sesame) which take well as sandwich bread. And the bagels are super fresh. They also carry old fashioned soda bottled locally.

Damn good bagel!! Stopped in after being in Bristol over the weekend for a wedding. Long line and wait, but it was a Sunday morning so we sucked it up. Fantastic selection of bagels and cream cheeses....it was a hard decision but I went with the spinach bagel with tomato basil cream cheese. YUM! Eating this bagel reminded me that all the bagels on the West Coast are crap. JP had an everything and a sesame and loved his as well. Bagels aren't chewy, they are the perfect texture and density. Even the cream cheese was light and fluffy. If I lived in Bristol I would eat here all the time. They have breakfast bagel sandwiches and a full lunch menu as well. I am sure they do a brisk business when Roger Williams is in session.
