Excellent Caesar salad, meatball sandwich was very very good. We shared a large plain pizza, and we thought it was excellent as well. New York style pizza. We want to go back and try their homemade pasta soon. Beer selection is also very good.

Similar atmosphere to Brickyard, without the rest of the perks. The food is good, but the pizzas are small and a bit over priced for what you actually get. The pizza fondue is pretty good, but this isn't a restaurant I can't wait to get back to. It's nice for a change of pace from time to time, but to me, it's really more of beer and appetizer type of place.

Had the pizza last time. Had to come back and try the pasta this time. Always a great place to come to, it was very good, I got the chicken and linguine. It had pancetta and a good blend of flavor. Could have used a dash more salt for my taste but I was satisfied nonetheless.

If you are the mood for some amazing baked chicken wings with tons of spice and flavor definitely stop by!!! Hot buffalo wings were delicious!!!

Decent beer selection. Stromboli excellent. Margarita pizza good. Pasta garlic artichoke pancetta so so. In laws had meatball sub and said best ever. Homemade chips very good.

Pizza was Ok. The appetizers were really good - mussels, wings, fondu. Not allowed to add additional topping to "menued" pizzas. First wood fired pizza restaurant I've been to where additional toppings can't be added

A well executed idea. Obviously expect a carb heavy menu, but most everything I've had was quite good. Service is adequate. I'm a repeat customer, but this isn't my first choice for the price range or pizza/pasta.

I was only here once. I probably won't go back, unless someone else is buying. The prices are a little too rich for me. The atmosphere is nice, spiffy and modern. I liked the big cloth napkins but really hate high-top tables, which is where we sat. I was a bit confused by the PacMan and pinball machines around the corner from our table. They really don't match the decor and the fancy vibe in the rest of the restaurant. I think the specials should be written down, perhaps on a card on the tables. Our waiter rattled them off quickly and was hard to understand -- Did he really say "roasted grapes"? We bought ordered pizzas, one carne and one Brickyard special. The flavor combos seem well thought-out. They were good, but mine was a bit burnt. Both were about $11 for four slices. Sorry, I'm too poor for that price on a regular basis. Had to wait awhile for a drink refill.

Pizza is great. Love the pizza tower, where you can choose 3 different pizza to share with friends. Went with my family and took my nephews to see the brick oven to see the pizza baking. They loved it. Pizza was amazing.

The pizza is amazing and the fondue was excellent. Service is on point, not too intrusive. Great place to hang out and have drinks, or bring the kids and enjoy a nice dinner.

Beyond impressed !! Pizza fondue is absolutely over the top, my fiancé said and I quote " the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth" The gnocchi with sausage is to die for, spicy squid was beautifully tender and not rubbery at all. Great building and cool atmosphere. Service was prompt, cocktails delish, a little expensive but gosh it's worth it :)

Good location, prompt service and great thin crust with the deep flavored of a stone fired pie. Will stop again when I visit downtown Williamsport.

Ambiance is wonderful. Place just has a great feel. Kids loved the wood fired ovens...staff was very accommodating. Pizza is really quite good, especially if you like thin crust. Appetizers go from amazing (pizza fondue) to OK ( fried Mac and Cheese sticks) Place has a full bar and a wonderful selection of draft and bottled beer. (Majors to Craft) I would recommend if you in the area, but would not make the trip just for this place.

Had great pizza. Had a delicious balsamic glaze. Had a great business lunch there. Nice gourmet pizza, not very expensive costs.

Really like the atmosphere and it's definitely a fun place to go out! The pizza I had was incredible...everything was really great. I just don't know how often I'd pay over $10 for kind of a small personal pizza. Great food though! Just a little over priced for my pizza taste.

Our first time visit to the Stonehouse. The first thing we noticed is that they made vast improvements in the decor from the previous restaurant that was there. They seem to have really listened to the complaints and did something about them when they put this place together. As for the food, we started with the bruschetta and then got a tower of three pizzas. We got the Truffle, the Stonehouse, and the Pig Roast. The bruschetta was very good and our favorite of the three pizzas was the Pig Roast. One of the things I like best about their pizza is that the crust is not a typical pizza crust. It's actually more like a crispy flatbread. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other things on the menu.

New place downtown with cool decor. Not impressed with the Stonehouse pizza or the Classic Margherita. Crust was a little overdone, very little cheese on the Classic. Overpriced for an average taste. However, did try the Bruschetta and it was awesome. Don't recommend the place if you're in a hurry though.

Outstanding. Cool atmosphere. Great menu. Family friendly. Menu has perfect mix of apps, pizza, sandwiches and pasta dishes. Have had the Mussels - slightly spicy sauce, Caesar salad -dressing made in-house, Pizza Fondue-not overly cheesy, grilled soft bread to dip, Charles Pizza topped with prosciutto and arugula/light balsamic dressing, Piggy Pie - pulled pork, pineapple, house made BBQ sauce, cheese. Pizzas are wood-fired and fabulous. Perfect crispy crust. Salad was perfect -not too much dressing, crispy, tangy. Just opened, have been there twice and one of my favorites already. Run don't walk. UPDATE: Have now been here many times. Each time better. Shared a crispy crust meatball parm pizza last nite - crispy, hot out of the oven - wonderful. Tried AJ's kahlua - WOW

If you stumble in, you definitely need to order the Pizza Fondue. It's off the chart! I really love their menu. Anything that I've tried here was delicious, the pizza, the appetizers, the pasta... Actually, the Haras Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite, but I always enjoy their beer selection. They will even fill a growler for ya!

Stonehouse is a pretty cool place. The menu has diverse options & staffs are friendly. It was my first time having wood fried pizza and the taste was good except for the crust was over burned. I would highly recommend to try the hangover pizza, such an interesting taste!!!

Had the Stonehouse pizza. Crust was a bit soggy, but it was extremely tasty. Will try the pasta next visit.

The atmosphere of this place was great. Outdoor seating near a quaint lighted alley a nice addition. Food was very good! Service was great! Of note: the kids Mac n cheese has a more gourmet- like taste... I loved it, but my son would only eat one bite. It wasn't plain enough for him :-)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
