I went here with my mom and dad today; it was the first time to Bonefish for all of us, as someone had given them a gift certificate. We sat in a booth in the bar area - great atmosphere. My mom had some type of "ocean" martini which she loved (so much that she had a second one, and she never does that!) and apparently Absolut Citron donates $1 for each of those martiinis sold to ocean preservation. So not only was it delicious, but eco-conscious as well! We shared the Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls to start, and I also had the Bonefish House salad - both were excellent and I would definitely get the salad again. I had the Mixed Grill special, which had steak, shrimp, and scallops - and I loved it so much that I asked them to please make it part of the regular menu! Service by our server Samantha was outstanding. But here's the most enjoyable part of our Bonefish experience. My parents were supposed to have left for London yesterday to visit my sister who lives there - however the volcanic eruption in Iceland put a damper on that, and now we're not sure when they'll be able to leave. This came up in conversation with our server Samantha, and also the manager Stephanie. When we were given our check, Samantha informed us that due to our unfortunate circumstances, all of our entrees were on the house, and she and the manager hoped it would make our day more enjoyable. My parents protested profusely, but the staff was insistent. We were so touched by that act of kindness that Bonefish will definitely become part of our Valley dining routine now, aside from the fact that the food and service were exceptional! THANK YOU BONEFISH - we'll be back soon!

I agree with Lianne - good food, a bit pricey if you have a drink, appetizers, dessert, etc. I chose "moderate" for the price range as you can certainly have a nice dinner with dessert and coffee and tip included for $30 per person. My friend and I just had dinner and coffee, which was more than enough for us, for around $42 (20% tip included) for both of us. Entrees run from $14 to $23, with appetizers from $6 to $15, salads $5 to $10. Desserts are limited and are around $5. They have a nice selection of wine, and interesting martinis and cocktails. I had the Fontina Chop, a thick boneless pork chop topped with Fontina cheese, garlic, crispy prosciutto bits and mushroom marsala wine sauce (this is a fairly common sauce that I haven't had much luck with in other restaurants around town). The chop was delicious, the cheese topping a bit of overkill, and the marsala sauce was delicious - couldn't really taste the prosciutto (I think it would be a better dish without the cheese and prosciutto). Potatoes au gratin were a bit heavy - I've had better, but the steamed vegetable medley was delicious. My dining companion had pork also - the Tenderloin Portabella Piccata - garlic crumb dusted pork tenderloin, wood-grilled and topped with a flavorful portabella piccata sauce. I actually preferred her pork choice - very tasty and lighter sauce. I cook a lot of fish at home, so even though it's 'Bonefish" Grill, I wanted to try a non-fish or seafood entree. The service was excellent- we had a charming young lady server named Katie A. I agree that the restaurant presents itself as slightly upscale, even though it's a chain - very pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely go to Bonefish Grill again and try some of the other delicious sounding entrees - especially want to try the Corn Chowder with Lump Crab, and see if I really get lumps of crab :-) I see they put whipped cream on the Creme Brulee - oh, dear, that's a no-no! Well, maybe it's good without the whipped cream - I'll have to try it next time. Update: Tried the corn chowder - it was great! Tried the creme brulee and my dining companions agreed with me that it was not very authentic - too much like plain boxed vanilla pudding.

Upping my review 1 star to a 3. In the past I had horrible food and decent service. That was 2013. My wife and I have been coming here a bit recently and the food has been much better. I genuinely Ely enjoyed the Kobe burger with egg (but I substitute goat cheese). I also very much enjoy the lobster roll. Issues: it is a complete flip flop now. The service is deplorable. The hostesses make us feel unwelcome and they seem unprofessional. The restaurant keeps changing their policy on whether or not they automatically provide bread at lunch and brunch. The waitresses are generally quite slow and unresponsive.

Been back a few times, big fan. Love the fresh fish, nice service and good atmosphere. The spicy tuna bowl was so good! The ginger ale is weirdly the best I have had from any restaurant. They are a little pricey, and the entrees aren't the largest but the quality is worth it. They are very understanding with allergies, and with special request like changing a vegetable (if you ask). I am not 21 so I can not tell you how the drinks are at the bar, but they do have a nice selection of drinks. I usually go whenever I am at the mall for lunch or dinner! I do enjoy this chain restaurant very much.

Three words....bang bang shrimp! Holy Mother of Christ! Let's not forget the chillean sea bass...or the shrimp and scallops. ..oh and the potatoes au-grauten on the side...damn...just made myself hungry all over again....

We were greeted when we walked in before our reservation time and sat immediately. Friendly and wonderful. Our server Emily promptly greeted us. She was never invasive always attentive. Had suggestions that were sound and was a delite. On a date it's so nice to have good service that doesn't interfere and so pleasant. She gave top notch amazing service. The kitchen was on point. Flavor profiles were very well thought out and plated well. Presentation and taste exquisite. The two cocktails we ordered from the bar were a treat as well. So highly satisfied might be an understatement. Second time I've been and both times great. This is so the place you should be going too.

Overall, I think Bonefish Grill is an excellent chain, but my experience for lunch was okay at best. They offer a gluten free menu, but for lunch, the selections are extremely sparse, so I'd recommend stopping in more with the dinner crowd if you have the same affliction that I have. I ended up having a chicken salad given the lack of options. The remainder of my fiancees family seemed like they enjoyed their meals of various sandwiches that they had available. The service was slow, seemingly making us feel forgotten at times and it took a very long time to get the check. The food was good, but the selection and service left more to be desired.

Good service. Decent meal. Nothing really bad to say about the restaurant. But not much to get excited about. One of those better places to eat by the mall. Did not get a boner from bonefish.

Really enjoyed their Chilean Sea Bass! I got the butter lemon side sauce and it went really well with the fish. Recommend this place.

We really had a good time tonight! The food was amazing and our waiter was attentive. We enjoyed the bar service as well the lemon drop and Moscow mule were refreshing. Thanks for making our dinning experience memorable!

We used to come here on a semi frequent basis and it was great. It looks like there is a new manager who is appalling. He stood in the entrance to the kitchen yelling at employees and then sat at the bar reading Wine Spectator. He needs to treat this restaurant like it's not a chain. This is not the experience you want when you pay money for an evening out with the family. Used to like this but this manager needs to go......

I have been a Bonefish Grill fan ever since first trying them in Secaucus about 9 years ago. So I was happy to find one here in Allentown. Besides the Bang Bang Shrimp that I always order I tried a sampler this time. In order to get this sample we had to be two - the sampler featured a small Filet Mignon, a small lobster tail and some grilled fish. The food was great but I think for the amount of food we got it was over priced - we could have ordered individual entrees which probably would have worked out better.

From the staff to the food, I highly recommend. I had the filet and lobster tail, plus had the lobster bisque,, all perfect.

If I could rate a -0 I would.....This place is nasty..My 11 year old son vomiting after eating here .." I ordered the Atlantic Salmon...bc the Sockeye Salmon was sold out...and When I received my grilled salmon it was burnt and I mentioned this to the waitress and she had the nerve to ask me if I ever had grilled salmon...I told her yes..and I cook it myself and eat it almost everyday...that's the only meat I eat..and she instantly had a sore face...the manager begged to remake it..and it came out uncooked and slimy ..I told him I couldn't eat this...and he said well would you like to take it home and cook it..to my liking bc he took it off the bill....I wasn't looking for free food I wanted quality food/....after my son and husband got sick I was thankful I did't take this food home...I think they spit in my husband water...and possibly spit in my son soda.......I will never return to this horrible place...I would never recommend this to my worse enemy.

So let me just say, if I could give this place 10 stars I most definitely would. It was date night and we always wanted to try this place and this time we were determined to. We were so glad we did. Everything from the atmosphere, to the food, to the exceptional service was just out of this world. Our server, Amber S. was training a new server and I can see why they chose her to do so. She was so incredibly cheery that it was infectious. She made her job look like so much fun. Plus she was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu; even making food and drink suggestions that we did not regret. Amber aside, the manager, Tom, came over to our table not once but twice to check on how we were doing. Given that it was our first time there, he consistently made it known that he was available should we need anything (he even cleared some of our plates), and gave us a coupon for free Bang Bang Shrimp for our next visit. We felt like celebrities and were beginning to wonder if people thought we were because of the exemplary service we received. Now let's talk about the food. Every dish tasted better than the last. The infamous Bang Bang Shrimp did not disappoint. It. Was. DELICIOUS!!!!! So was the calamari. The pomegranate martini and the cucumber margarita (which Amber suggested) were AMAZING!!!! So much so that we had two each!!! The first course was so good that we both sat there like two giddy little children on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come and bring the phenomenal entree. And boy Santa did not disappoint!!!! We both ordered the Filet Mignon and lobster tail. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! They even served the melted butter in a bowl over a lit candle so as to keep it warm. Crazy! Wait!!! Wait!!!! I almost forgot about the freaking warm sweet bread that they served with the basil pesto. Now, I'm dieting and off bread, but when I saw the look of pure ecstasy on my husband's face when he dipped that bread in the pesto and placed it in his mouth, I had no choice but to take to it like a Hoover vacuum. No shame. It was that good. Finally, we culminated this fine fare with a slice of key lime pie, which was by far the best I've ever had. It even made my husband, who had never tasted key lime pie, a fan. That's saying a lot for a picky eater like him. Overall, it was an absolutely positive experience. I can't recommend this place enough. We left there with our palates satisfied and our stomachs full. We will definitely be back for next months date night. I. Can't. Wait.

Been looking for a good restaurant in the area. It's pretty difficult to find one around here with decent reviews. Happened to be at Lehigh Valley Mall and noticed this restaurant. Of course, I had to check yelp right away and after seeing pretty decent ratings. We decided to have lunch here. The restaurant is nice with simple decors, soft yellow lighting, lots of seatings and I especially like the booths. We were seated next to a window which provided most of the lighting. It is not as busy as I thought it should be since we arrived at noon which should be prime time for lunch. Our waitress was very nice and spent a lot of time going over the menu with us as it is our first time here. We were overwhelmed with the options but decided on fish as the place is called "bonefish" and the waitress mentioned their fish is fresh, never frozen and hand cut by their manager for the best quality. Bread and pesto: good! The bread was warm, crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pesto was good but slightly salty probably more so because I love pesto and was drenching my bread in the pesto oil. Bang bang shrimp appetizer: love the crunchy batter and tangy sauce. The shrimps are decent size too. Imperial seabass: stuffed seabass with crab, scallops and caper sauce. Fish was cooked well and moist. Sauce was bit salty for my taste but not overwhelmingly so. Came with 2 sides which included the seasonal vegetable and other side of your choice. The seasonal vegetable was corn, edemame, tomato and a bit of crumbled sausage which was tasty. I got a side of broccoli and that was ok. Grilled tilapia with chimichurri sauce: the fish was tasty and I would personally just eat the grilled fish on its own without the sauce. The fish came with sauce pour over the top and more sauce on the side. There are serveral sauces that you can choose from. I would ask for the sauce on the side next time. This also came with 2 sides. I also tried the blackberry with coconut water and this non alcohol drink was pretty refreshing. I drank most of it before I realizes that I didn't take a picture of it. Overall, I enjoyed the experience here. Service was good and the waitress checked on us several times during dinner. The ambience is nice. The food is good.

This place is always packed, and for good reason. The servers are gracious and attentive. The food is fresh and packed with flavor. The ceviche appetizer is so great. It changes periodically so come back often to try new recipes. I had the wood grilled rainbow trout with an Asian sauce. Cooked to perfection. My gf had the scallop and shrimp entree which tasted delicious! We definitely will be back! Great food at an even better price!

I went there for an anniversary date with my wife and it turned our to be a very good call. The service was excellent. We sampled several appetizers, the scallops were good (could have been seered a bit more for our taste but the chutney that it came with was incredible. The surf-n-turf roll was top notch as well as the coconut shrimp. We also tried the calamari, it was good (I prefer a bit more salt and pepper) but the sauce that it came with was again above par. I had the crab crusted orange roughy, it was another good choice. My wife had the shrimp pad Thai, it was food just not great (but then again this not a Thai restaurant)

Typical chain restaurant. All the cost and little quality. It's a shame this is actually one of the better seafood places in the Lehigh Valley. Try Henry's Salt of the Sea for better seafood and support a local business.

WHERE AND WHY: Ryan and Lindsey came in the day before the Fourth of July! We sat around and hung out at the house waiting for Joe to be done at the lab. After trying to satiate hunger with bologna and cheese and some chips, Joe was finished and we were ready for dinner. Linds had never been to Bonefish Grill and we also needed to hit up the Apple store to try and save her mom's iPhone. So we wandered over to the Lehigh Valley Mall and decided we would do Bonefish! Special thanks to Jill Martin, one of Katie's best friends from law school, for introducing her to this place. THE EXPERIENCE: We went earlier than people our age normally do so we had a table within minutes. In fact, the boys were still parking the car as we sat down to eat! We had fantastic service and the restaurant was actually really nice earlier in the evening (5pm). We had happy hour specials to choose from and the summer drinks are delicious! After a couple of spills thanks to our boys being train wrecks (lol!), we enjoyed a really nice night out on a special holiday. Good friends, good food, and good booze are the key to success for any Brague family outing - and after this weekend, I have to say, I love how my family with Joe is really coming together. (got a cavity from all that sweetness?!) THE FOOD: Linds had never had bang bang shrimp so of course we ordered our favorite thing to start! We were ready to dive in after our above-pictured tropical martinis. The calamari was fantastic, but anything on the table fails when bang bang shrimp is readily available! I had my grilled tilapia with the featured veggie and garlic mashed potatoes as usual. I always get the lemon butter on the side and usually wind up not needing it. My meal was fantastic - I just filled up earlier because of my obnoxious love for the shrimp. Joe helped me finish my plate though! Linds and Joe got Lilly's chicken. They seemed to love it - there was silence as we were consuming our food. Ryan got some sort of surf and turf but proclaimed his love for it - so I take it we had an all around fantastic meal! We couldn't stomach a dessert but I highly recommend the key lime pie... although the S'mores flatbread looked too delicious. TAKE HOME MESSAGE: Bonefish is a great place for fish lovers and those who don't like fish alike. Dieters can still enjoy a meal at Bonefish and the happy hour is amazing! We go during the week on Wednesdays for bang bang shrimp night... even after a bad experience after my bar exam, we still consider ourselves loyal patrons and regulars. Special holidays are a great time at Bonefish and the management at Bonefish will do anything to resurrect a bad experience (I know firsthand) so we trust the service and the food. This particular location in Whitehall is really clean and delicious. If you haven't tried it yet, I strongly suggest it during the summer. Lobster Tuesday looks great if you're into Lobster! CLOVER RATING: I give Bonefish a three-clover rating. Sometimes it's hectic and sometimes you get a bad egg for a server, but the food is consistent and delicious... we are definitely fans in our house! This was also the first restaurant that I ate at when I moved to the Lehigh Valley, so it has a place in my heart. I hope y'all had a safe and happy Fourth of July! Special thanks to Lindsey, Ryan, Barb, Andrew, and Laura for making our Fourth so great! Slainte, Katie For more, please see: thelvthymes.blogspot.com

My husband and I went again tonight. We sat at a booth by the bar. We started with the bang bang shrimp (which I love) then I had the corn and crab soup which was really good too. My husband had the edamame (good) and coconut shrimp which was also yummy and the beef kabobs which he said was good but they were really tiny. I had the filet for my main course. It was ok. Kinda chewy. I didn't say anything and just tried to eat what I could. The waitress came over with our check and said that she saw me struggling with my steak and she took it off our check! Super sweet! The whole time we were there she was very attentive and helpful and polite. I really like this place and wish there was one closer to our house, we'd be here more often! Also, we went to the Dime last night with friends and spent over $1100 and it was horrible. They need to hire the waitress that we had tonight and make her a manager there.

Bonefish has gone down their salads used to be delicious now they are disgusting the bang bang shrimp is just gross now I dunno if they're cutting corners or what but it's just not as good as it was just go there and get a pomegranate martini! That's about all that's good (I lied they have these donuts as a feature right now they're amazinggggg think of the Chinese buffets it's like those sugared donuts mmm)

I just want to start off saying that the food was great. The portion size was just good. He wait staff was outstanding however my experience with the hostess however has forced me to give this restaurant a lower rating. I'm a large person 6 ft 4 person and heavy. The hotness seated me in a small booth where even my kids were who are very athletic were tight. We asked for a table and she made a big deal about it. Bottom line she embarrassed me. If it wasn't my sons birthday I would of made a big deal about it.

I really like this place. It could be a bit bigger. I've been to one in Virginia which was huge compared to this one. The food is good and I've been here several times. Word to the wise, ALWAYS go with reservations. I tried one time to go w/o reservations and that will not happen again.

Today I tried the Tilapia Imperial and it was delicious like everything else I've tried here so far. My husband had the grilled swordfish which was cooked perfectly. I've never been disappointed when I've left here and I've always had good service .

Just had lunch there with my wife. The food was very good. We shared a pear martini... It was soooo good it's a must try. Bang bang shrimp was my favorite. The waitress was nice and attentive (however we were her only customers). So if your tired of shopping at the mall treat yourself!

Very good food, delicious drinks, and amazing service! We ate at the high tables on a busy Friday night. The food arrived quickly and the staff was very attentive to us. It's great for a date night but if you would like one of the regular tables, its best to make a reservation in advance.

HORRIBLE! Went for lunch, and it was not really crowded. It took over an hour for our food and the waitress was not very apologetic. When the food finally came out it was terrible. Fish & burger overcooked. Just awful...will never go back.

Went there on a Friday night with a reservation at 7. Took us in right away. Ordered the cerviche appetizer. It was edible and wasn't fresh. Obviously a big box restaurant cerviche. I'll go to CasaToro for cerviche. Otherwise the main course salmon char was good. Would I go back?? Nah, I'll cook at home.

My friends and I had the worst experience at Bonefish a few weeks ago. First of all, I must say, our food was fine; strangely, it was the service that stank. When one of the servers was bringing out our salads, she dropped the salad dressing cup all over me. She apologized profusely and brought out club soda to dab at my ruined dress, but that was the end. They never cleaned up the spilled dressing that was all over the seat next to me and left the dressing cup on the floor where it dropped. Hence, when we were leaving, my friend slipped out of her seat. One of the managers did come over and offer to pay for my dry cleaning, but that was it. Now, I am not one to complain or beg for hand-outs, and really, even covered in salad dressing I was cheerful and understanding, but shouldn't they have at least offered to refill my beverage (the pineapple martini-I highly recommend it) or comped my meal? My night was essentially over the minute she dropped the dressing on me. Instead of shopping with my friends, I had to go home. They should have done more. So, not only was I covered in salad dressing, but there were other problems we had: cold coffee, my friend's order inputed incorrectly (she had to wait for her correct dish), fries that didn't arrive until we reminded our server twice. Bonefish has great food, and usually their servers are the best, but wow, I won't be going back and neither will my friends. Side Note: I emailed Bonefish Customer Service to tell them about my experience and three weeks later I still haven't heard a thing. Disappointing.

Everyone at my table got fish tacos but me. Sad trombone. I should have gotten the fish tacos too. I got the orange roughy off the specials menu and I was not a fan. However...the coconut shrimp appetizer was amazing, as was the drink I had. I cannot find it on the online menu but it was a blueberry/raspberry sort of martini drink that had coconut milk in it. Probably one of the best mixed drinks I've ever had.

Had to wait awhile to get in but was totally worth it. The lobster Mac and cheese is to die for! Crab cakes are also so good! We also had the bang bang shrimp and calamari. Both were a little over done. The calamari tasted more like frozen calamari which was disappointing. Overall would def come back!

Just had dinner here after a long day at Dorney Park. Bonefish Grill is 15 min away from the park. Our party of 6 adults and 7 kids got to the restaurant around 8:30pm and got seated within 20 min. The service was fast and the food is quite good. We ordered Lobster Grill cheese and calamari for appetizer. My husband ordered the Kobe beef burger. All the entrees were delicious and the kids menu was better than the usual sort at other chain restaurants. The food was not greasy and the new side of herbed couscous is delicious. We even ordered creme brûlée for desert. Will definitely look for a bonefish grill closer to home in NYC.

Mall food. What I can say is that the wait staff were better than the last two times and the shrimp didn't taste of ammonia. That's why the three stars. They attempt classy and charge for it, but they ain't anywhere near the Edge or the Mint in Bethlehem. Better than Appleby's anyway, and Denny's . I don't get why people wait in line to eat here!

My family and I were here for an early dinner this afternoon. Bang Bang Shrimp & Mussels App. I could sit and eat several orders of just those. Stuffed Tilapia and Lily's Chicken were then the delicious main course. Our server Jes was outstanding as well, thank you for a lovely meal.

Stopped there for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Service was fast, friendly, and good. Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer is a great choice. They also provide fresh bread and olive oil dip for the table. Which is great! I ordered the lunch combo of filet mignon tacos with a house salad. Loved the mango salsa! Would order this again.

Not your typical chain! Bonefish is my family's favorite. Their Saucy Shrimp appetizer, seared tuna, and lily's chicken are all among favorites. I've recently transitioned from Pescatarian to Vegan, and I called the restaurant to see if they could accommodate vegan. The host initially said no, but when I questioned it (all vegan is is some veggies, really.. I figured they could do that), he handed the phone over to the executive chef who was more than helpful. He gave me multiple options to choose from that I ended up ordering when we went to dine later that day. The only thing I thought was crazy was the price. I understand my meal wasn't on the menu so they'd have to use a miscellaneous price, but all I ordered was mixed veggies and rice... and my bill was charged for a "Shrimp Diablo" at $16. How could you ever equate mixed veggies to the value of fresh shrimp? I was disappointed in this price gauge, but still a fan of the place overall.

Our first time here. Kind of like an Olive Garden of seafood. Got a booth on the side. Tables in the middle of the room are rather squished together. I'm pretty sure if we sat the middle it would've felt like a high school cafeteria; we were okay in the booth. I would definitely wait for a booth next time. Started with the bang bang shrimp which was outstanding (It was $6 on Wednesdays. Usually $10.50). Don't let the shrimp piled high in the servingbowl fool you; the bottom is stuffed with lettuce. I had the lobster thermidor mahi mahi. It was delicious and I would order it again. I chose it off the specials menu so I'm not sure that it's there all the time. Ron had a pasta chicken dish. It was way too salty even for me. Even on a Wednesday night the place was full. You can make a reservation online. There's even a coupon for 15% off available online (as of today). Good experience, good food and would definitely go back.

The good was very good here and so was the ambience, but our service was horrid. It took fifteen minutes for me to get a refill on my lemonade. Our waitress did not check up on us at all we had to flag her down each time and it was not busy at all. She made no effort.

It's extremely rare that I'll give a chain so much esteem, but... 8+ visits and I have not been disappointed yet. When dining out I really look for a well-rounded experience. I like value, coupons, etc. but for good food I am happy to overlook it. Here, you can eat well for less. Apps are generously proportioned. Bang bang shrimp = yes. Sushi tuna app = yes. Service is consistently good. Food is consistenty amaaaaazing. If I'm at the LVM, I crave this food.

This place was pretty amazing. We went the night before Christmas Eve and the place was packed yet we were still seated immediately and our waiter came right over. The decor and ambiance was pleasant ant the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. From the complimentary loaves of warm bread and dipping oil, the bang bang shrimp appetizer (i will order this every single time I go there from now on) to my stuffed pork chop and my date's steak. Everything was delicious, hot, and arrived promptly. For dessert we ordered the coconut cake and it was so good I got one to go. Our waiter was attentive and so nice. This place was worth every penny for sure and I will recommend it to anyone.

What can I say about Bonefish except don't fire the cook. This is an excellent restaurant for every occasion. Flavorful, priced well and good wine as well as other alcoholic beverages. Because it's one of the better restaurants in the area, I suggest making reservations.

We've had great meals over the years but this one was just bad and I'll never return. Went at 1:30 pm on a Saturday for lunch. We ate Crabcakes and Grouper. The grouper piece I was served was dark and of very poor quality!! My hubby had crab cakes which were also of significantly poorer quality than past visits. The waitress we had the unfortunate experience of being assigned was poor also. Not a cheap lunch and that's ok but thie food was of cheap diner quality. Wouldn't eat here again and will never recommend it or buy gift certificates for others again.

We've been to bonefish three times now, and each experience was great. The first time went we sat at the bar for some beverages and had bacon wrapped scallops. Scallops weren't tough, they were delicious, and the bar tender was awesome. Our second trip was for an early dinner during the work week. We were seated right away, which isn't surprising given the time of day. Again, food was great and the waitress was super friendly and attentive. Last night we decided to go to bonefish for dinner. We didn't make reservations so when we arrived around 6:45pm we found a packed restaurant. The hostess advised of a 50 to 60 minute wait, which was fine with me since we wanted to walk around the shops. At almost 7:45pm we were notified that the table was ready. We ordered the bang bang shrimp to start and was served complimentary bread. The bang bang shrimp is awesome. The portion size was much more than I had anticipated. We both ordered the filet mignon which came out perfectly. The meal came with the vegetable of the day and our choice of side. Very satisfied with the meal. I'm typically very skeptical of chain restaurants, but I've come to enjoy going to bonefish. Not only for the food and service, but for the atmosphere.

One of my favorite chain restaurant. The best calamari and crabcakes, hands down! Only gripe is the location. The lv mall isnt the easiest to get in and out of. There is usually a very long wait , if u dont have resevation. Biggest reason we dont frequent as often is the location.

I came here same time last year on my friends birthday. It was a quiet evening. I had ceviche which is a appetizer usually and brings me back to my childhood days on the Pacific Coast. Overall the food was good of okay, I cannot say I was impressed, although the service was good. It was not for the wine suggested by the server (which he paired well with my meal) then I probably would not have given a second thought to add this review or maybe would have rated it less. There are better restaurants out there, for example the cucina Italian restaurant across from bonefish. Anyhow service was average, prices slightly above average, and food was okay to good.

I think this place should be rated higher. The food was great!! One of the better seafood places in the LV. Great ambiance also. Being a foodie transplanted from NYC that's saying a lot. -potential negatives: 1. small portion size (adequate for me) 2. getting my slow but polite waitress (to her defense we were the last table at the end of a long day) . I definitely would come here again!

My friends and I went there for dinner on Friday night and I took a bite of my crab stuffed Tilapia and took bite to a giant shard of glass. Yes the manager came over, yes my meal was comped and no i was not hurt. But overall having a LARGE PIECE OF GLASS inside someones food in completely and utterly unacceptable. I thank god I was not hurt or swallowed this glass. My drinks were not comped, the manager has not called to check on me. I recommend NOT going to the Bonefish in the Lehigh Valley.

My fiancée and I decided to celebrate Valentines' Day about four days early and decided to go to Bonefish and order the pre-fixe menu @29.99 per person. He had the house salad which he really loved and I chose the Caesar salad and loved it but wished there were a few more of the delicious croutons on it. We both ordered the lobster and chose the filet with the truffle butter. Both items were absolutely made to perfection! Melt in your mouth delicious! The lobster was so sweet it didn't even need the clarified butter! The truffle butter was so so AMAZING WITH THE MOST PERFECTLY GRILLED STEAK, OMG! That is all I can say! I ordered my favorite drink too, the white cranberry Cosmo and it was great. We shared the chocolate creme brûlée and I would have licked the bowl if I could have! The chocolate had a great depth of flavor! Everything was great and the service was impeccable! I smile just thinking about the whole experience!

Service was great and the good was excellent. The goat cheese beet salad was terrific as was the saucy shrimp. If I had one piece of feedback to share, I'd say I wish they would make the lobster specials available on ALL days not just Tuesday's!

After the Aci Halal debacle, I ended up coming here to eat. First impressions- nice ambiance, nice sized bar, just dim enough lighting. Sat at the bar, ordered a lovely glass of Riesling, then ordered the signature "Bang Bang Shrimp" appetizer. Houston we might have a problem... It was okay. Just okay. Am I the only person who forgot to drink the cool-aid? It was fine, but nowhere close to the spectacular rave reviews I was reading. But fine, finally tried it - viola c'est fini! Then I wanted to try something else from the menu, just to have a better idea of the food. But problem was I was already full, so I thought something simple veggies or a salad. Ordered the Caesar Salad w/ (and I quote) "house made garlic croutons". The thing here, and this is very important - the simpler the food, the better it should be, because there's not a whole lot of frou-frou to hide behind. The most common test when hiring a chef/cook will be to have them make a simple omelet. Sadly few can. Ah, young grasshopper must learn to crawl, before he can walk. For only then will he know True Kung-Fu. Here, we are let waaay down. A sad pile of half wilted soggy mess w/ sad crouton crumblings - would be a more fitting description. I wouldn't brag about making those croutons in-house. Better croutons can be had for $1.38 per bag at the grocery store. Sadness. A good salad is a thing of beauty, how can you mess up a Caesar salad? Many ways apparently. Anywhoo, the staff was nice if not overly friendly and they missed on a couple of things. In the future, I think I would give Bonefish another shot and try something else off the menu, if there's nothing else better competing for my cravings, that is. Maybe.

First off, only restaurant I've been to that played Belle and Sebastian and MGMT, which is awesome. Bang bang shrimp is a tasty appetizer with a great blend of crunch, tanginess, and sweetness--highly recommended. Crab cakes are a bit on the mushy side, though I'm not a fan of crab cakes in general. Fish tacos are great for a chain restaurant. Would love to come back again.

I really like their menu considering I am a seafood lover. Food was delicious so do their cocktails. Prices were decent. Pleasant atmosphere. Dress casual to semi formal depending whether you go for lunch or dinner. You can walk around outdoor after you're done eating if you like since the place is at the shopping mall. Also, a good place for happy hour and watch sports.

Not sure what's all the fuss about on the bang bang shrimps. I tasted chemical, artificial, and unfreshed frozen shrimps...the waitress was also terrible at serving our meal all night. First, she forgot our bread, then she never came back to check with us, and in the end, she didn't give us the birthday appetizer discount that was suppose to be on the check. We both ordered fish and it tasted worse than any fishes I've ever had. It was dry, blend, and chewy (not in a good way, fish isn't suppose to be chewy). Lastly, we got the coconut pie and it's way too sweet and tasted bad. It was my first and last time there, I'll never go back to it and good luck for all of you who's thinking about going there.

As possibly the most frequent customer over the past 3 years, I am shocked I have never reviewed the Bonefish. I am here weekly, and really enjoy the place. Friendly staff, consistant food, reasonable prices. If you order something and don't like it, tell them, and they will get you something else. When the mall is busy, this place is busy, so avoid prime time if you don't want to wait. They get my "Best Local National Chain Restuarant" award. I am not a fan of the bang-bang shrimp that everyone raves about, but I still love the bone!.

4.5 stars? Well, I guess compared to the other restaurants in the area that may be true. Bonefish is a decent chain if you have no other options. I've always had good food, but nothing mind blowing, as I wouldn't expect from a chain. Consistently good. What wasn't good here? The service at the bar. Dude spent the entire time talking to the regulars and completely ignored me. I didn't need him to chat me up, but he could have asked how my food was or if needed another drink. Disappointing for the service junkie I am.

Being a chain, my expectations were limited before walking in the door. The Bonefish Grill is located in an addition to the Lehigh Valley Mall and continually has a fairly heavy crowd. The interior of the building is decorated with typical modern chain decor complete with sparse lighting. The service was good, the waitress was continually on top of drinks and additional issues. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp partly because a friend is always raving about them and they are something that the Bonefish is known for. They were not bad, the flavor was good, but I almost liked the bed of lettuce below the shrimp with the spicy sauce on top. Following the app we both had house salads. The blue cheese on the salad's was great but otherwise the salads were standard. For entree's we got the shrimp/scallops and the Chilean Sea Bass. Both dishes were good but nothing to write home about. The shrimp and scallop dish was nothing above the norm and not advanced considering you are in a place that specializes in seafood. The Sea Bass had good flavor but it again wasn't anything special. Overall, if you are going to a chain, the Bonefish is a solid choice but it is not a place that I personally would frequent.

This is the best place for seafood/fish in the area. My fiance is especially picky when it comes to restaurants and he loves it here. The bang bang shrimp are out of this world. The service is always quick and ready to respond. We typically come here every month or every other month. For an appetizer, two sodas and fish plates will cost us $50. The fish is always cooked perfect and the wiped mashed potatoes are amazing. The ONLY thing I don't like is that the seasonal side that you get, I typically don't like it. Make sure to make a reservations! You will have to wait 30 minutes to an hour if you don't have one. Other than that, I wish there were more Bonefish locations.

Went here last week and it was amazing. It was a Saturday night, and had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. While we were waiting a server came up to us and took our drink order which was great. After being seated the waitress was very attentive and we had our food within 20 minutes. I got the ahi-tuna appetizer which was phenomenal (if you're into raw-fish). For an entree I had the shrimp with spinach noodles in a spicy cream sauce which was equally as good. Would have had dessert if I wasn't too full. Would highly reccomend this place!

Bonefish Grill! Where have you been? Well, I know you are not in California - at least not yet. I am in town for business and went to the Allentown Mall to eat dinner when I stumbled across this place. WOW! First of all, I suppose you can say it is casual dining disguised in fine dining clothing. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a large wine bar area separate from the restaurant. All the servers wear chef's jackets, which I think is a nice touch. Their prices are not bad at all for what you get. I had delicious Chilean sea bass with a spinach and garbanzo bean mix and cheese potatoes. Oh, and there was plenty of sauce for the fish. The corn chowder with crab meat was outstanding and the vanilla creme brulee was one of the best I have had. The portion sizes are also generous. Overall, I could not find a damn thing wrong with this place. I was surprised to learn they are owned by the same company who ownes Caraba's and Outback Steakhouse. In my opinion, this place should NOT be compared to either of those places. Since I am from California, I find it fitting to borrow some words from our current Governor - "I'll be back!"

My husband and I went out here for my birthday because we had been given some gift cards to use. Good thing too - our meal ended up being a little over $50 for the two of us. Really not bad though considering the nice ambiance. We started out with the Bang Bang shrimp and they were AMAZING. I don't know what the heck they put in them, but YUM! We also got coconut shrimp which were outstanding and large. My apple martini was very good as well. I got a surf and turf steak and crab cake which were very good. Husband got chicken (I know, I know), but he loved it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We both agreed we would be back.

I loved this place! It's been about a year, since the last time I ate at this location (and this is the only Bonefish Grill that I've visited); but, I still have fond memories of the several experiences there. Generally, good service. Love the food! Parking is kind of a pain in the neck. Great stuff!

Great service and great food every time we've been there. The very first time my husband and I went, we ordered the mahi and wolf fish imperial (to die for). After our meal was finished- absolutely no complaints on our end- the manager came to our table with another mahi steak ON THE HOUSE because he felt the filet the cook sent to us was too small! We were speechless, especially considering we both felt our meals were a reasonable portion size for the price. We've been back at least 6 times since and haven't had a disappointing meal yet. And of course you have to get an order of Bang Bang shrimp every time you go. The calamari dipping sauce is pretty phenomenal too.

I was in town for business and just finished a great work out ... so I opted for Bonefish grill to eat something relatively healthy while on the road. I cannot believe that this place has such high star reviews!! Menu - Limited. For a seafood restaurant, I figured there would be more options for fish and side dishes. Atmosphere - Pretty nice. Dimly lit and decor is typical of a chain restaurant. Service - My waitress was great (even when handling my poor dinner). Food - YUCK! I ordered grouper, which I was excited about because it is my favorite fish. When the waitress was refilling my iced tea as I took my first bite of the grouper, I bit into a large bone!!! It scratched the top of my mouth pretty good and was painful. I'm lucky that I did not choke. Out with the bone also came a few scales!! YUCK! The waitress was shocked and said she has never seen this before at the restaurant except one time with a piece of salmon. She whisked the dish away and returned with a menu. I told her I wanted something other than fish because that just killed the fish kick. I ordered their Kobe beef burger with a side of balsamic salad. After placing the order, I quickly realized that she never asked me how I wanted my burger cooked. Weird. It came and it was well well well done. I don't even think it was Kobe beef because it wasn't tender at all. The salad was okay and the bread was good. Needless to say, I don't think I will ever be back to Bonefish Grill. The place is supposed to be known for their fish, and it was sub par. The grouper was also very dry. No thanks!

Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. My wife asked me if I was going to draft a bad review since it was a chain. Well, let's say I didn't have high expectations but the wife's coworkers tended to come here so I at least wanted to let her experience the supposed fun. Okay let's get this straight. The more gastropub-oriented side of the menu is excellent. The fish tacos are mindblowingly good (I ended up reproducing them at home with tilapia and a yogurt sauce). The fish and chips are great too. They had this ethereal texture to them. The drinks were also appropriately alcoholic as opposed to slightly watery at other chain restaurants. However, the entire restaurant was crowded and overly warm. Either they need to turn the heat down or.... something. It was a little loud and unpleasant to dine there. Also the need to reserve a table days in advance for fish and chips is..... a little silly. I see why the place is popular but I'm marking it as "not worth the effort unless it's a date night." Also the waiters were a little wordy about how the food was FRESH and oh did they mention that the food was FRESH? Yeah I bet the fish is FRESH given how tasty it was! FRESH!

Wow!!! Four of us arrived around 4:45 on a Tuesday night and was seated immediately. We ordered Bang Bang Shrimp, the Mussels, the flash-fried calamari, Bacon-wrapped sea scallops, and the Thai coconut shrimp (yes, it was a lot, but we just finished golfing 18 holes and were famished!). Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I have to rave about the PEI mussels' sauce....wow!! I was eating it with a spoon...soooo good!! For drinks, I loved the Black Cherry Guava Mojito, and our son and his girlfriend also loved the martini special - The Watermelon martini...I tried it (not crazy about watermelon) but I have to admit, very tasty. They even froze cubes of watermelon to add to the drink (clever). Our entrees- I had the filet mignon (cooked perfectly for me -medium rare) and grilled lobster tail with nicely cooked succotash, and I chose the summer vegetable quinoa as a side...very good. We also had the Shrimp and Sea Scallops, and the Rainbow Trout...also very good!! It's nice to share foods!!! Our server, Jenny was fantastic!! Answered our questions about some of the food choices, seemed to be there BEFORE we needed more water or drinks, and was quick to clear off empty plates and glasses. What a great end to our evening! Oh, when checking my son's girlfriends ID, she noticed her birthday was the day before; so what happened when our meals were through? She brought out a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream...with a candle! With 4 spoons!! We all thought that was so nice! Again, what a great evening!!

This is a very good seafood chain restaurant. It offers many fusion dishes that give hints of spices from different parts of the world. The restaurant has a well-decorated interior and the staff is very friendly. The price is a bit on the high end and that is the reason I did not give it 5-stars. Overall, this is a solid choice that many people will enjoy.

Okay - I know they specialize in fish but my friends had been dying to go there and I'm allergic to some fish so I avoid it whenever necessary. So I ordered the New York Strip it was so dry!!! - Oh i have to mention I like it well done. It's not my fault they don't know how to do it right! Every poor experience I have w/ overdone meat leads me closer and closer to getting it medium well. My boyfriend will thank me. We normall wait close to a half hour waiting for my well done meat to be served! The sides were good. The creme brule which i tried for the first time was amazing. I'm glad they had steak on the menu but it wasn't good at all. My friends loved their meals - crab cake and bang bang shrimp. Maybe if they sign up for yelp they'll give it a 5. NOT ME!

I had really high hopes for Bonefish. I've heard great things about it, and it's a favorite place for many people I know, as well as a few friends. The ambiance is nice. I like the interior. The service was pretty good, too. I have no complaints about that. The prices were fine, really. So my only issue is that the food I ate made me sick. I'll totally admit (and have) that I'm the canary in the coal mine. It will always hit me first and hit me hardest if anything is wrong with food or drink. I shared the ahi tuna appetizer with my boyfriend. The fish tasted fine, and I had no reason to hold back on eating my fair share of this sesame crusted delicacy. It tasted very good. I don't know if it was the ahi that did me in. I have no way of knowing, really. The main course I got was the Maryland Crab Cake dinner. I did get pieces of shell in my mouth, which I don't care for... but it's happened before, and it's not a big deal. There was definitely a strange flavor that I didn't care for, so I didn't finish the meal. I ate one crab cake, and a little of the second one. I think I should've listened to my instinct, which was telling me that something was wrong. In about 30-45 minutes, luckily we were home, I had the worst stomach cramps. You can probably guess where I spent the rest of my night... in the bathroom, or curled up in the fetal position on the sofa... then later curled up in the same position on my bed. I was DONE for the night. Now, you'd think that I'd give them less stars for this. However, I have to say that I'm quite sensitive to food that is even a LITTLE off. Some people could've eaten the same thing and been fine. Know what I mean? But not me. If food is the least bit unfresh, then I'm the one that'll reap the consequences. So until I return to Bonefish, which I will be, because we're having a company dinner there soon, I'll leave my rating as it stands. To be continued....

I called Bonefish around 6 to try and make a reservation for 7. They didn't have any openings until 8:15, but she said the wait was an hour, so we figured I'd drop my parents off so they could wait while I went and picked up my girlfriend. Strangely enough, my parents said they were seated within 10 minutes, despite what the hostess had said over the phone, so they had to wait at the table for a little bit before my girlfriend and I got back. Time problems aside, the experience was pretty good. The inside was much smaller than I had expected from the size of the building outside, but the atmosphere was nice and warm. They listed beer on the menu, without any note as to whether they were from the draft or not, and I ordered a Stella Artois. To my surprise, the waitress came out with a bottle instead. Later, before we left, I took a look at the bar to find they had zero draft beers! Kind of disappointing, in my opinion. The food, however, was very good. I got filet mignon (I'm not much of a seafood person) and a caesar salad, and both were great. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. There wasn't much to pick from for me that wasn't fish, but that's to be expected at a place like this, but, like I said, the filet was excellent, so it wasn't too big of a deal. This probably would be a 4 star, but the lack of draft beers was disappointing, and the hostess's inaccurate time estimate was puzzling.

Its a chain...so what do I say. The food here, as compared to other locations, is solid. Try the special, " Thai coconut shrimp"... Very good... And the Thai dumplings are also good. I always eat the grilled fish as well... Can't go wrong!

  • Grizzl Y.

Really liked the bang bang shrimp and the dumplings were perfect as well. I had the salmon with the mango, nicely grilled and tasty. My boyfriend got the shrimp and scallops and was happy with it overall. Nice atmosphere but try not to sit by the door. Will definitely come back as there are few good seafood choices in this area. Prices were very reasonable.

Don't go on a Wed when they have special like Bang Bang Shrimp. It is not crisy but soft. Menu is limited. AHi Tuna bad, pieces too big and mussy. Steaks with side is so small, not worth the price. Best off going to LongHorn SteakHouse or Bravo!

This is a reliable seafood place, even if it is a chain. (Minus one star there...sorry guys.) If you've been to one Bonefish, well, this one is just like it. The food here is well prepared, and the service is top-notch. The menu can be a bit limited, and it doesn't change too much. I'm always a bit suspect of dedicated seafood places that don't vary their menu based on the catch, but such is the life of a chain place. I typically get the Parmesan trout, a nice sustainable fish. (As much as I love Chilean sea bass, it's an eco-no-no.) The wood grilled options are very good as well - I advise trying a few of those with the different sauce options. Extra points are awarded for the seasonal vegetable sides available with entrees. They've been quite good each time. Also, I advise you go with the au gratin potatoes...you won't be sorry. This place gets busy, so make a reservation for larger groups. Expect a short wait at least for parties of any size, especially at dinner. It can get a bit noisy inside...so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quiet dinner. As for price, this is a lower-upper price range (or an upper middle, if you want to get creative). As noted by other reviewers, the tab can get away from you if you get appetizers, entrees, drinks...etc. I suggest you keep it simple - the entrees here are filling as is.

Wow!! This place is amazing. The food is outstanding, even though I just found they are actually a chain, which is surprising. I am from Chicago and I never knew about the Bonefish location out there. I would have gone a long time ago for sure! Our waitress was Heather, and we absolutely loved her. She was extremely attentive and seemed genuinely happy to be waiting on us. My husband had the mahi mahi and it was about as good as it could be. It came with jasmine rice and some kind of garbonzo bean side, which was pretty tasty. I had the Florida Cobb salad and again, it was fantastic. It had a TON of everything. Grilled chicken, avocado, mango (yep thats right!), bleu cheese and tomato with a citrus vinaigrette dressing that was to die for. I also had a cup of their corn chowder with lump crab. I know I keep repeating myself, but it was amazing, outstanding incredible, etc. Huge chunks of crab and potato and the flavor was perfect. I ordered the house margarita, which was decent. I have had better. It did take a long time for the margarita to arrive, and Heather was visibly upset at the drink servers (i guess the waitstaff doesn't deliver the drinks for whatever reason). We really appreciated that Heather was annoyed on our behalf and she kept apologizing. Again, we love her. The prices are pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. We will without-a-doubt be returning to Bonefish in the near (and far) future.

Compared to other seafood chain restaurants -- Red Lobster, we're staring at you! -- Bonefish Grill is far better. The services are nice, the modern setting is refreshing and the cocktails are strong. I had the grilled grouper with steamed broccoli. Both were tasty. The fish was fresh and nicely cooked. Since the fish is promoted as grilled, I think it could have a stronger smoky grilled flavor. The fish should also be served with lemon. I appreciate the fresh herb flavor in the dipping oil for the bread and in the chimichurri that came with my fish. I wish Bonefish would push their food to a higher level. My Bang Bang Shrimp and scallops wrapped in bacon were served soaking in sweet sauces. They serve decent quality fish; i think they should show off the quality of their fish by eliminating the sweet sauces or sticking them on the side.

Food was great, my 82 year old father enjoyed everything that he order and so did the rest of us. There wasn't anything I could say was wrong with our dinner. I would recommend Bone Fish to anyone.

I love this place! Been there twice. Not too expensive and practically anything you order is really good, even the chicken marsala is nice. Their appetizers are specially yummy!

Never a fan of Seafood chains, I was suspect going in...but being that my wife and I were looking for simple, and not having to dress up....here's where we ended up. I was impressed. My wife has dietary restrictions and sometimes that can be a hassle, and a bit painful. The server was excellent, patient, and most important....careful. She ensured that all the recommendations met my wife's dietary needs. The food in itself was very good. I had the "Cajun chicken egg rolls" for an appetizer, and it was very tasty. Not too spicy, and the glaze and mustard on the side were a nice change of taste. My wife had the Salmon and I had the Grouper, and they were both very nicely done. There is a variety of sauces that you can have on your fish, we went with the mango on the salmon and pan asian on the grouper....great results. The entrees themselves were pretty filling. Adding salad and apps made for a big meal. The server made us aware that as soon as you tell them of a dietary restriction, there is something in their system that allows them to tell if you can have that item, that is quite reassuring. The service was excellent, and the decor is nice and subtle. Sitting on the side of the bar can get a bit noisy, but there is a division with more seating on the other side of the divider. This isn't an upscale restaurant, but it's "casually nice". I would strongly recommend it, and will certainly come back when in the area..... don't be afraid of the fact that it sits outside a mall (that's been enough to keep me away since it opened).....

We had dinner here on Christmas Eve this year on the recomendation from family. We had a rather large party of 8 or so and had to sit in the bar area due to seating constraints in the dinning room. The service was quick and friendly. the food was very good for a chain too! The prices were fair too!

Good service. Decent meal. Nothing really bad to say about the restaurant. But not much to get excited about. One of those better places to eat by the mall. Did not get a boner from bonefish.

What can I say about Bonefish except don't fire the cook. This is an excellent restaurant for every occasion. Flavorful, priced well and good wine as well as other alcoholic beverages. Because it's one of the better restaurants in the area, I suggest making reservations.

Maybe.

Bonefish Grill is a great place to eat. Their food is good and so far I have had good service. You have to try the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer. It is fantastic. If you like seafood,it's worth checking out.

FRESH!

NOT ME!
