When I was younger going to Outback Steakhouse was a bit of a treat because the closest one was about an hour drive. I have been to 4-5 both in the local area and other town and I think the one here in Washington, PA is the best I have experienced. Outback is obviously a chain restaurant and the food is fairly consistent from location to location. The things that has been different is the service and in some circumstances the preparation of the food. I have had other locations forget to call my party, bring rare steaks when medium-well or well done was requested, have rude or indifferent wait staff and be extremely cold for whatever reason. This location has very rarely messed up an order and on those rare times they have fixed it quickly and without any prodding from us. The employees at this location are always friendly and we are always taken care of. Overall there is nothing to complain about at this location and everything is as expected for an Outback Steakhouse location.

Ugghh....where to start? This is a chain restaurant that realizes it doesn't have to make much effort to get customers. Everything was off....cleanliness, food, order, timing.... The staff was nice enough but it doesn't get you over the fact that the rest of the meal and restaurant are just not that great. We always order, then everyone heads to the restroom. Restrooms were out!! But the restaurant remained open. How in the world did the staff work?? It gags me to thing about. The place smelled like sewage as we neared the restrooms. So, what do you do then? Drinks are on the table, we have ordered and can't clean up. DISQUSTING....When, I go to nearby steak restaurants, I tell everyone that I can. It is just unacceptable. WILL NEVER RETURN. This place should be shut down - HEALTH HAZARD!!

I dined at Outback with the family on a weeknight. Our waiter was a nice young man but he was either the victim of under-staffing or a lack of training. I am patient, too patient, but way too much time elapsed between check-ins. When he did check-in and take requests, the follow up was sorry. I wanted to try the new maple mustard glazed pork chops so I ordered them. 5 minutes later the waiter returned to tell me they were out of pork chops. REALLY? It is bad enough to run out of a menu item but it is even worse to fail to notify the wait staff. Four of our party of five got steaks. Only one steak was cooked to order. I got the Porterhouse. It was cooked correctly and was average. The salad was okay as were the sides. Our meals and dining experience were less than memorable and just average. Is it me or has the quality of all chain restaurant food taken a nose-dive lately?

Great food for affordable prices. Very clean environment. The staff is always pleasant. If something isn't right with your order, they give you a new one. Our family eat there twice a month.

Service was slow for a Monday night. Wasn't greeted by a hostess. Booth seat was dirty and butter was hard. Definitely a different experience then most Outbacks...

Not so great. We were seated fairly quickly but once we ordered it took our food almost an hour to come out. We had coconut shrimp appetizer which was not good. There was a ton of super sweet breading on a tiny shrimp. We didn't finish the plate. My husband had a burger and I had chicken. Both were edible, but nothing special. I don't understand the draw to this place. We won't be back soon.

Outback is known for its steak and burgers, but we tried some of their other options on the menu for a change. Even their less popular dishes are very good as well. We always stay in Washington when we drive through Pennsylvania and Outback is one of our favorite stops. We also had some of the best service ever at an Outback. We had the Bloomin onion to start, I would always recommend that, its just SO GOOD! The bread is also great, especially when it's fresh and hot. We had a very attentive waitress who always promptly brought what we needed. I also got the Atlantic salmon, which was fine, even better with Garlic mashed potatoes on the side. Everyone else was happy with their dishes as well. Overall, if you're not in the mood for steak, or want something besides a burger, try some of the other dishes at Outback and you may be surprised.

I can't believe I am writing a review for a chain but they have one of the best salmon dishes around. Great, affordable week night dinner option. They will make anything to order. Friendly, welcoming service.
