An experience that never disappoints. The food is always impeccable, and the service is top notch. The owner (Adam) treats everyone like royalty, and it's obvious that he puts quality above everything else. Just come prepared to stay a while, because this isn't a quick bite--it's a multi-course food extravaganza. My wife and I had our first date at Casablanca years ago. We liked it so much that we eventually held our wedding reception there last year. Our guests had no idea what they were in for, but every one of them left delighted and unable to eat another bite. What's more, even a year later, they keep telling us how much they enjoyed it. We don't live in the area any more, but we always think of Casablanca when we're visiting and want to do something special. You should, too. It's worth the trip!

This is a great experience and the food is good. It's tucked away in the back of a strip mall, but it is wonderful inside. Dim but with Moroccan lighting as decor. I'd recommend coming with a group of at least four because it's a group meal with a somewhat fixed menu of eight courses. You do have some selection in some of the courses and if you don't like something just wait for the next course. It has a great atmosphere, helpful, friendly servers and fun belly dancers. It's expensive at about $40 per person but you get a lot of food and entertainment. Definitely an experience worth having. The perfect place if you want to try something new in a fun way.

Casablanca is super awesome. I first heard about it from a friend who bought a Groupon for this place and decided to try it out myself. I never had Moroccan food before venturing here and am I glad I decided to step out of my palate comfort zone! As others have mentioned before - there's a lot of food so definitely come hungry. The wait staff is attentive to whether or not anyone in your party is a vegetarian or allergic to nuts; in which case they would make the proper adjustments to the menu. The baba ghanoush, hummus and eggplant salad were all on point, especially the eggplant salad - I could've eaten that all night. As far as the course items we were allowed to select from, we got the spicy chicken as well as beef & lamb kabobs. I highly recommend the spicy chicken if you're a spice lover like me! The chicken itself was cooked to tender perfection and the spices just brought the whole thing together. I wasn't a huge fan of the kebobs as they were somewhat dry but still held great flavor. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very laid back and intimate - the tables they seat you at are relatively close to others, especially if you're not in a large group. There's music and dancers who invite you to dance with them. Once you step in here, it doesn't even feel like you're in Warrington, or PA for that matter and this is probably one of the best reasons to try this place out!

Fun place to go with a group about once a year. A little pricey if you don't have a Groupon etc but those are usually easy to get. The belly dancers come around to the tables about every half hour. It gets a little loud for small children (under 4 years old) but outgoing ones will enjoy it. The food comes in so many courses that it appears endless. Seats are more like cushions on a elevated platform and people with back problems don't have much back support. When they were down the street, they wee BYOB. Now they have a bar license so they no longer permit BYOB.

This is more than a meal, it's an entire experience! The place is beautifully decorated, the owner and employees are very nice and willing to chat, and the food is good! I loved the mint tea and the baklava! If you have $30.00+ dollars to spend on a meal and something to do, then this is a fun place to try! Belly dancing included though I wish there had been more of it. There was only one dancer and she only did two shows while I was there. She had a great spirit and was willing to give the patrons lessons. Overall, this was a fun experience! Will I be a regular? Probably not. Moroccan food isn't my thing (except for that baklava...).

Awesome place! Great food, the meat was prepared perfectly! I suggest rabbit then the lamb for skewers!

We went as a group of 7 adults about two weeks ago, on a Saturday night, and it was great. Tons of food, and all very good. Excellent atmosphere. Belly dancers were enjoyable. We brought our own wine. Service was good. Before we got there we had to make a couple of changes regarding our party count, and the exact time, and the restaurant staff was very accommodating. Yes, the price is kind of high, at about $40/person (tip included), but this was really more of an event than just a meal. (We spent 3 hours there very easily). The last time that I had been there was more than 10 years ago, and I am very glad that it's still so good.

This place is absolutely amazing!!!! Each of the 8 courses were freshly made from old family recipes! The inside is beautifully and authentically decorated. Our host Adam, owner/family, educated us on each course. The belly dancer was a lot of fun. She had each of us come up and learn to dance. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!

What can I say about this place, Once you step inside you will feel out of this world , the ambiance is so authentic and breath taking and family owned. Two brothers run the complete show and the host Mr.Adam is incredible , so sweet to talk to , so very well mannered and over all a great experience. I do agree it is a little expensive around $40 per person but then it is an 8 course meal. way too much for a person like me and there is no option to go any less than that 8 course meal. They have great dancers over the weekend, Friday to Sunday Definitely something to experience atleast once if you are around I love the host and the mint tea and their Eggplant was awesome

Fantastic food and the belly dancers really put on a great show. Price is affordable considering all of the food you get and a show to go along with it. Decor and atmosphere is very comfy and I love the couches and eating by using the traditional Moroccan method.

OMG SO MUCH FOOD! When we walked in, I wasn't sure if we would get menus or what, but they just sat us down and brought us food right away. It was an 8 course meal, and they give you a couple options such as lamb vs chicken as well as options for vegetarians. You eat with your hands for the majority of the dishes, but they give you forks for the meat. They also give us towels to place on our laps, and boy, mine was filthy by the time we were done eating. We cleaned our plates pretty well, but I left completely stuffed! I even brought home some of the fruit we didn't manage to finish. I don't think I will go back. It was more of a one time thing and something different to experience. Reminded me a little of Along Came Polly. Seems like a great place for a big groups to go.

If you are looking for the ultimate dining experience, go to Casablanca. If I could eat here every night and not gain 500 lbs, I would. Again, you come here for a dining experience so plan on being at the restaurant for at least 2 hours and come HUNGRY! They are a BYOP, so bring a red and a white :). They basically have two menus, meat and vegetarian. As a vegetarian, I was delighted with my dinner! You start off by having your hands washed in rose water, as the meal is shared and eaten with the hands. The vegetarian courses have cous cous, so I was given a fork with mine. For the meat courses, you are given choices on what type of meat (chicken, lamb, rabbit, etc.) and how it is prepared, so you will need to talk with your party and make some choices for the table. You can select more than one option (how many you get depwnds on which course you are on) so everyone should be happy. The temperature is always perfect so that you get warm food that does not burn your fingers. When they come with the basket of pita bread be sure to take a bunch as you will need it for the salads, hummus, baba ganoush. The service is always excellent. As I mentioned, I am a vegetarian so the servers always go out of their way to find out what my restrictions are. The service is friendly and the meal is well-paced. The belly dancers are sweet and have a great sense of humor, so don't feel shy about dancing with them! We bring some $1's to tip them (the never stay still, so getting the bill in their belt is very entertaining!). Go with an open mind, an empty stomach, and a bottle of wine and you will have a great time.

For $25 dollars, you get so called 6 course meal...I would give four stars, only if belly dancers were all girls and little hotter. lol

A friend mine had her party here and it was definitely a good time. We had a semi-private, lounge/dining area with Moroccan decor. It was about $30+ per person which included an 8 course meal (although we were full after 4) and belly dancers! Each person gets to choose their own entree (lamb and rabbit were good). It's BYOB which is always a plus and the waiter even took several shots with us. Oh, and you're suppose to eat with your hands, but it's okay because they give you warm towelettes beforehand.

Exotic cuisine, plush decor, belly dancers. What's not to love? The staff is always attentive and friendly. The food is always delicious- home cooked Moroccan food based on the owner's mothers recipes. Chicken is the moistest I've ever had. Humus is incredibly creamy and flavorful. The only place I've ever had lamb that didn't have that game taste (and I don't like lamb!). 7 course sultan feast with BYOB that you eat with your hands. It always a fun time!

  • Mike K.

It all comes down to the entertainment in this place. Something's always going on (dancing, music etc.) so you're constantly entertained. Plan to be there for a while as there are several courses and you'll be having them all whether you like it or not. I didn't like the food at all. I had the rabbit which was flavorless like everything else here. If you're looking for something unique go here but come for the entertainment, not the food.

*Our waitress, Eva, was very sweet and attentive. *The belly dancers interacted with everyone in the audience. *They welcomed people to join in the fun. *This was our first time eating Moroccan cuisine & we're glad we did. The pre-fix menu forced us to try new things. Some of the dishes were great, others were just okay. Our group of 4 had various opinions but we all agree that the kabobs & baklava were simply perfect. *This is a great place for kids, if they are willing to try something new. *Our daughter has nut allergies & they accommodated her meal.

Went here for the first time last night and didn't know what to expect. The servers were so lovely, attentive and well informed of the menu and drink selection. The food, OMG! So say we couldn't stop eating is an understatement. It was one delicious plate after the next! From the beginning "salads" , main course(s), to the veggie/couscous, baklava, fruit and delicious tea.... I won't need to eat for several days. I'm in foodie bliss!! Now I know why the couches are there.... Food coma! Treat yourself to this magical place. I can't wait to go again!!!

Ambiance/Decor/Atmosphere: VERY...warm, inviting, cozy, Middle Eastern, intimate, but done so in a casual manner whereas Casablanca doesn't appear pretentious. Noise/sound level: Music is always playing; it can get loud, it will get loud especially when the dancers come out. You will need to speak up when addressing your party. Menu: This menu is almost prix fixe; it is an eight course dinner menu with choices at certain points during the course. Basically, you can choose certain proteins at the fourth and fifth courses, but the rest are set for you to enjoy. Service: Attentive, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and seemingly nice group of people. Even the belly dancers stop and talk to you to make sure you're having a great time. Food: Never had Moroccan food before, but have had Middle Eastern cuisine which I love. Well, Casablanca blew what I knew out of the water and then some. The food is succulent, accurately seasoned, cooked perfectly to temp, and the chefs know how to properly portion the food per number of quests. I went in with two of my best friends having a hang over feeling sick to my guts, but came out full of delicious food feeling on top of the world. The spicy chicken is out of this world and even people who dislike heat will love the bird. Bar: BYOB with wine, but they have a full bar and club thing going on, on the other side of the joint. Price: For $32.50 the patron is robbing Casablanca blind. You get tremendous value for your dollar with all the food you get over the eight courses. Pita, hummus, baba ganouj, b'stilla, salads, meat, meat, couscous, fruit, tea, bakalava....I mean come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall: I was sick as a dog at the start of the evening and missed the first two courses, but came off the bench after course two to pick up the slack my two best friends couldn't handle where they fell off in course four. I DEFINITELY would love another shot at all eight courses as I'm sure I could annihilate them all.

Had my first Casablanca experience a little over a week ago! The food is really great! It's something like eight courses, which is crazy. They start you off with baba ghanoush and hummus, along with some delicious salads. I highly recommend the eggplant salad. I wasn't crazy about the rabbit, but everyone else liked it. I want to point out that the servers are extremely sensitive to food allergies. One of the diners in my party has a severe nut allergy, and they were kind enough to make her separate plates of the foods that usually had nuts. Warning, it is an authentic experience, so you eat with pita, not with a fork and knife! You'll thank them for bringing over the "napkin/towel" when you get messy :)

Everything we had was delicious, that said, it was simply TOO MUCH FOOD. We had to get the prix fixe and each and every course was fresh, authentic, and really tasty. The service was wonderful and Casablanca is surprisingly kid-friendly! Our 1 year old happily snacked on the courses with us and enjoyed the belly dancing! This is definitely a place you go every once in a long while because it's just so much food, but we would (and will!) be back.

I could easily write a 5 page essay about Casablanca, but for your sake I'll keep it short and sweet. -The menu is prix-fixe. However, you do still have some say in what you order. You're able to choose between several options for the kabob and main entrée. -Come hungry. Pretend you're a Moroccan king/queen for a night and gorge yourself on course after course of delicious food. -Expect to dance. Or watch some belly dancing, at the very least. -And be prepared to feel like you're actually in north Africa. The atmosphere in this place is on point!

I love this place! I've visited twice and had a great experience both times. The price is quite good for the copious amount of delicious food you receive and we left stuffed both times. As many others have previously stated, you're served a multi-course meal where some of the courses are fixed (appetizer, dessert) and others you get to select (main courses). I'd recommend the spicy chicken if you're up for having your mouth melt and your body go into crazy sweats. The meal is traditionally eaten without silverware, so don't cop out and eat with your hands. Service is attentive and polite. There are bellydancers throughout the night that provide lots of entertainment, especially if the crowd dances with them. I really like the decor and the setting is set up so it's great for larger parties. This restaurant is located in a strip mall, which is kind of weird. This place would be a great hit if it was located in downtown Philly. It's a suburb treasure and I'll definitely go again. This is a great place to bring out of town guests.

This place is awesome! At first, I admit I was nervous. It was empty when we got there and they have us towels to put cross our laps. I was like towels?! (believe me I was grateful for that towel later!) I quickly realized however that was going to be a great experience! It's great for big groups, I wouldn't recommend coming here alone at all. Even with just two people I can't imagine how you'd be able to eat it all, so I say go in groups. The atmosphere of this place is so cool. You feel transported to Morocco. They have belly dancers. Our dancer was really cool! She danced and then came over and tried to get our group to dance. At first we were all very shy and kept saying no. But she finally convinced us and it was super worth it cause she taught us cool moves! The food here is divine you get like 5 courses so come hungry. . Some of the best chicken i've ever had ever! The chicken with apricots -yum!! Because it's 5 courses I'm not going to go through it all. It's just delicious. The only negative is the dessert at the end. The big bowl of fruit is just a tad ridiculous. Who's gonna eat an apple after 4 courses? Makes more sense to me just have small berries. Also, because it's group style and five courses prepare to be there a while and also after taxes and gratuity ( which is automatically added in) it's like $40 a person.

Where do I even start... This place is awesome. It's located in a strip mall in Warrington, you might drive right by it. My friends and I entered into a beautifully decorated Moroccan-style atmosphere. The seating is comfy, we were sat at an l-shaped couch with pillows. To begin, we were greeted by our waitress who washed our hands with rose water and gave us towels to put over our laps. You eat everything with your hands, so be prepared for an experience. Holy moly, we were served 7 courses and each one was better than the last. They consisted of traditional Moroccan dishes. They started with cold salads and pita, followed by a bastilla, tagines, kabobs, couscous, fresh fruit, mint tea, and baklava. Again, everything was delicious. What about the bellydancer? She came around midway into our meal for a show. After dancing through one song, she encouraged us all to join her, which we obliged. Though we have zero skills, we certainly had a good time learning some moves from her. My only gripe is that Casablanca should be closer to center city Philadelphia! I feel like the people of Warrington don't appreciate a place like this like Philadelphians would.

Wow... Just had one of the most amazing meals! It's kind of a trek if you're coming all the way from Philly like me but totally worth it! The spicy chicken was melt off the bone delicious and the veggie lentils were out of this world! Mint tea was the cherry on the top of this wonderful 8 course meal sundae! I'm definitely coming back.

Amazing place! Owner is extremely friendly. My wife and I went here on a recommendation. The food was outstanding and the staff is very accommodating. We had the rabbit, lamb, and chicken kebabs. Outstanding. It's a very unique place for the area and very tasty. I'm not much for hummus but this hummus was outstanding. If you're looking for something different in The area this is deafly worth checking out.

I visited Casablanca with my Arabic class last week. I've been to Moroccan restaurants before, so I knew to expect lots and lots of food and a great experience. Casablanca does not disappoint. The decor is like a harem and the bellydancers are phenomenal-- especially the man (I don't know his name, though). I also love that the venue is divided up into smaller "rooms"-- it makes bringing a group really easy and even semi-private. Food-wise-- Casablanca excels at the second course (the one with egg and chicken and pastry crust-- I'm not sure of its name). The lamb kebobs are fantastic, very well-seasoned. The baba ghanouj is also very tasty. My only complaint was that the service didn't seem to be on the top of its game that night-- the pita wasn't refilled as often as it should have been and some of the spacing between the courses was too long. I had a great time at Casablanca-- it was great for a big gathering, especially for a birthday or something.

I love this place. Eating with your fingers is pretty fun, plus the dancers encourage people to get up and join them! All the food is tasty, and interesting. I love the chicken cinnamon egg pastry thing... It's amazing! One tip--bring a big appetite, or, bring take away containers, BC if you don't eat it then and there, they won't doggie bag it for you.

Our 3rd time here - first in their brand new location (same shopping center). The new location is gorgeous, so well done and has a really authentic flavor. Its a really comfortable environment, semi private seating around communal tables. The owners and service staff are very friendly and will take the time to describe the courses and selections. 8 course family style menu..tradition states you eat with your fingers, mostly using thin pieces of pita to scoop up the food. They'll gladly provide you with a fork, but they also encourage you to experience the feast as intended. I took this advice, even though I typically do not like to eat with my hands. First course is a variety of cold salads, tomato and onion, carrots, eggplant, hummus and baba ghanoush. All very tasty. Second course is their signature bastilla which is a unique egg and chicken filling in a flaky phyllo dough with cinnamon and powdered sugar - delicious! Next is chicken which has been simmered for a long time, making it so tender and flavorful. Then come the kebabs - these were much better than i had recommended from last time. The lamb was wonderful. Next is deliciously tender cous cous with veggies and chicken, again so flavorful and tender. Then comes a big bowl of fruit, baklava and mint tea. An indulgent, delicious and fun dinner for a special occasion. My opinion is that the quality has increased with the move just a few doors down to their new location. Must also mention the excellent belly dancers - female and male! they are wonderfully entertaining, gorgeous and happy to help you learn a step or two!

The first thing to mention - interior design. Authentic furniture, deem lights look amazing! Also server will offer you to wash hands with rose water. Just for atmosphere I would say it's a great place. Regarding food - everything I tried I loved. Chicken pie with cinnamon, raisins and lamb with walnuts were great. But they don't really ask you what you would like to try, server start to list everything you will have and you will have lot of food. I wasn't ready to this style and of course wasn't able to finish everything.

Worth trying because of the experience & the good variety of food, but honestly it's just WAY too much food (there's no option to pay less & get less), so I wouldn't come back again. You show up & they seat you at a lounge-y booth with your group. Everyone is automatically given the full 8-course meal ($32); there's no option of ordering less or getting a smaller portion. You do get some choices about the courses, though: there's a vegetarian option, as well as chicken and lamb. The Good: - An interesting experience: they give you rose water to rinse your hands before the meal; they give you towels for your lap because a lot of the meal is intended to be eaten using your hands; most of the food is shared with your table; it's dark - The couscous dish was delicious - Hummus & baba ganoush were good - They give you a big bucket of fruit at the end - You can take any leftovers home The Bad: - I didn't like the belly dancers. They came around about once an hour. I came here to eat, not to have them dancing right in front of us ... it was awkward. - The chicken was dry - The full 8 course meal is your only option - not good for those who don't want to gorge themselves. I would've been much happier if I could've paid less to get less food. FYI because it's 8 leisurely courses, allow 1.5-2 hours to finish your meal. So keep that in mind if you're in a time crunch.

We had planned on coming here for some time, and I was excited to finally go. We showed up and had difficulty identifying which door was actually the entrance since there were 3 and none of them marked. When we walked in, the reception area gives no indication where to go and what to do. I watched every single person after us wander around after they walked in too. Pretty basic stuff so far and this place is failing horribly at it. We ended up just walking into the dining area and finally someone comes to greet us. We were shown to our seats which are just long benches/couches. They are tiny and horribly uncomfortable, especially for how long the dining experience lasts. The waiter was friendly but hardly knowledgeable about the wine. He thoroughly explained how the courses are served and our options. We gave our options and sipped wine while we waited for the first course. The ambiance was decent and communal, which is different but inviting. The lighting was low and there was some Arabic music playing at too high of a volume for dining. Then came the belly dancer. Belly dancer - fine.....however, they BLARED the music so loud it actually hurt my ears. You know the guy at the stoplight who is blaring his music at the highest volume possible in his vehicle with all the windows down and it's so loud that you can barely think? I'm THAT guy - and the volume in this restaurant was too loud even for me. I have no idea what they are thinking turning up the (horrible) music that loud - I couldn't hear the person next to me. It was bearable only because one of the dancers was very attractive. Now on to the food. They brought out pita with baba ghanoush and hummus. The bread and the dips were good. They then brought out eggplant, carrots, and cucumber dishes while we suffered through terrible, loud music and a herd of old fat ladies attempting to mimic and keep up with the belly dancer. After that, they brought out a cinnamon and chicken dish that was very tasty and different. The subsequent courses proved the same. The rabbit, beef kabob, and lemon chicken were spot on. Hallelujah! One more course was a chick pea salad that no one touched because we were stuffed. After that, they brought out baklava that was ok. Now time for the next complaint. During all this time, the place became much busier and it took forever between courses. We were full and the seating was uncomfortable, more so after bloating from so much food. We had been there nearly 2 hours already, the music was maddening, and we were still waiting for one more course - I believe it was to be mint tea. By this time, we just wanted to leave and we told the waiter to skip the tea and please bring us our check. We wanted out so bad that I gave my check to the first waiter who came by and we scurried out of there. In review: Food: Excellent but WAY too much. Suggestions: lower the portion and the price Atmosphere: Put an entrance sign on the door and in the reception so people know what to do and where to go for crying out loud. Consider making the seating more comfortable. Music: I love loud music - at home, in concert, in my car - not at the place where I'm dining. Turn it down a notch or 12. I hope changes are made because the food is great. The atmosphere simply has to improve to get me to come back.

I've been there twice and enjoyed it all very much. The main thing I want to impart to everyone is: YOU DON'T HAVE TO EAT WITH YOUR FINGERS. Ask for a knife and fork and they will give to you! It won't be "authentic" but who cares, if you are not going to enjoy it by eating with your hands.

We came here for a birthday and it was definitely a fun time. It's really cool to sit on the couches around the tables, amongst the themed decor. They belly dancers are really fun to watch. However, if you're going here for the food, you will be disappointed. The style of serving the food was neat, but the taste was sub par. All of the food was dry and bland. However, we had fun because of the atmosphere, so it was worth it.

A fantastic evening!!! This is slow eating at its best. The meal is 5 courses ... more than we could possibly eat. Each course was, in fact, better than the precious course ... and the first course was wonderful (yes ... that good). The service is simply the best you could want. The decor/setting is comfy and very much "in the theme" of Morocco. Then the dancers! The woman was quite good and made this very fun; then came the male dancer and he ... was ... amazingly good! When he was serious, he kept you entranced ... and when he was funny, we all almost fell off of our cushions laughing! A great night out! Bring your friends! Take home leftovers! Worth every penny with the 18% gratuity!

Saturday night began as any other night would, only my friend and I were craving burgers. Ted's Montana Grill had an hour wait so we ventured up the road and landed in Casablanca...and what night it turned out to be! Call ahead and make a reservation. My friend and I were about to walk out until the waiter came back from talking to his manager about seating us. Luckily we were seated immediately and it didn't seem busy for a Saturday at 7 pm. Casablanca is intimate, decorated lovely with carved archways, and very comfortable couches. Being my first time and my friend's second time, I was surprised to hear that we would be served seven courses. Glad I brought my appetite! There are vegetarian options available, also. The first course of hummus and Baba Ganouj was very tasty. We ordered the rabbit and chicken, both which were flavorful and tender. Order lamb kebabs for your fifth course; the meat is wonderfully cooked. Next time I will try the spinach pie and samosa. During our meal(s), we were entertained by the belly dancers and the patrons whom joined them to dance :) Our remaining two courses were the cous cous topped with chickpeas and raisins and the dessert was Baklava with mint tea. Overall, I was impressed, full, and would highly recommend Casablanca.

When I first walked into Casablanca, all I could think about was sex. I'm not a total hornball, but the pillows, silky drapes, and low lighting really make you feel as though you are in a Sultan's boudoir. Also, on any given evening, there's bound to be at least 3 or 4 couples dining together in this intimate setting. Then, you see the belly dancer in her little bit of sequined nothing, and that clinches it! Sex. It's pricey. A flat $27 per person, not including drinks and tip. But, you get seven huge courses. Unfortunately, any normal person will only get through two or three before feeling stuffed. I loved the pastry course, mainly because it had a Bedouin scene rendered in cinnamon on the top, which I took great delight in destroying (It was yummy!). The belly dancer was quite accomplished at her trade. She danced 5 or 6 times while we ate! In my experience they only dance 2 or 3 times, so this was a treat. Of course, you will feel the need to tip her. I found the situation a big awkward, as I didn't particularly want to shove money into her panties. Luckily, she picked up on my intentions, put a basket on her head, and did a little "Here's a basket, give me $$$." dance. The shisha bar downstairs looked like a good time. Next time.

Went for date night with the hubby and really had no idea what I was in for. We knew to bring a bottle of wine, but other than that, I had never eaten Morracan food before. Had I known that I was going to be eating with my fingers and wearing a giant bath towel, I may have dressed more appropriately. Now, I don't mean to sound like a snot, but I was just not that into eating ground chicken with my fingers. Truth is, I got more on the towel than in my mouth. The service was great and the atmosphere was super cool! I LOVED the decor and the belly dancers added a really warm ambiance. Overall, a great experience that everyone should do at least once in their lives. Once was enough for me.

You gotta know what you're getting yourself into. I went there super not-hungry. No menu. Eight courses. Oops, I should have planned daytime food intake better. Food was good, not special. Atmosphere is really fun, convivial with belly dancers spicing up the end of the strip mall. If you're a veggie, you can get a special plate, and that looked really good. Once again, lack of planning had me finger-eating chicken with dates, chicken with almonds, et cetera. All competent, a few courses really good--but overall, a lack of a menu and utensils (did I mention you eat with your grubby mitts?) makes a place I enjoyed as a once-in-a-great while experience. Friendly staff a plus. Hey, maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but it was $81.00 bucks and a BYOB. I don't know.....

This is a great dining experience. The food is very good with some great flavors and you will not leave hungry. My favorite part of the 8 course meal was the first course and one should pace themselves better than I did in order to fully enjoy the diverse flavors that Casablanca offers. However, the atmosphere and the very friendly, warm service makes this restaurant one that I would bring friends.

This place has a great atmosphere and yummy food! You can choose between meat and vegetarian dinner. The entertainment is great. You get to eat with your fingers. This is the perfect date place or group gathering spot. It's byob and so much fun! You will leave stuffed!!! There is no menu, it is 7 courses with only a few options. It's a must try!!

Came here for a date night recently with my man friend and LOVED it. I had been coming here over the years with my French class in high school on school trips but decided to try it out for Valentine's Day this year. The atmosphere is great. It's not an in and out kind of place - it really is an experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the belly dancer and appreciated that we had our own little cozy section of the place to ourselves. We tried the rabbit which was DELICIOUS, and the mint tea was really great as well. Will definitely be going back with a large group of friends in the future!

The Journey- The Hubster and I ventured over to Casablanca tonight, for our Anniversary dinner. I have been to a Moroccan restaurant before, the Hubster had not, until today. The restaurant itself sits on a lot, in a no-frills plaza. It's located on the "seedier" side of town...(yes, every town has a seedy side, even Warrington). Ironically, 'Rockin the Casbah' played on our XM radio, perfectly setting the mood for us. The Ambiance- We were greeted by a voice behind one of the many beaded curtains. Our server appeared and kindly seated us in our very own "harem lounge". The seating and pillows were pretty comfy, not too low to the ground. The decor is everything you'd expect to be "Moroccan". Simple, yet ornate. There was a very thin blonde belly dancer hopping about from table to table...MEH. The Food- We began with the triple salad (Eggplant, cucumber, carrots), and the Baba Ganouj and Hummus plates. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. You knew exactly what you were eating, perfect for someone who is a visual eater. The second course is called Bastilla. You either love it or hate it and if you hate it, you will appreciate it. It's, as my husband called it, "a mind f__," On the outside is a round crispy Phyllo dough topped with cinnamon & powdered sugar, on the inside is a melee of chopped hard boiled eggs, shredded chicken and almonds. I've had Bastilla before and while it's not my favorite course, Casablanca did their version justice. We opted for the Harissa Chicken and it was literally falling off the bone. Simply delicious, tolerable heat and smokiness throughout. Easily the highlight of our meal. We then had the lamb kabobs, which unfortunately were over cooked but, tasty nonetheless. The couscous dish was delectable. By the time the baklava & tea courses rolled around, (both equally delicious), our stomachs were begging for mercy! Tips- Eat very light the day-of, trust me on this one. Dress comfy, preferably wearing maternity pants (men & women) and leave the Spanx at home ladies! Bring a few dollars to tip the belly dancer. We didn't have singles and felt bad about not tipping her. I Doubt belly dancing is putting her through college but, you get the point. Don't feel bad about asking for utensils. I cheated and brought a couple plastic forks. Served us well with eating the uber messy and/or hot dishes. The Bottom Line- For both of us, $65 plus 6% tax & 18% gratuity (which they add on top of the tax) it totaled $81.30. We saved on alcohol since we BYOB'd. We will definitely return again. I highly recommend!

Loved, loved, loved the food. About 90 minutes of a fixed 8-course dinner that was delicious and fun. Belly dancers too! Good service, fabulous decor. We'll be back with friends!

its more of an experience than anything else...the food was good but not great belly dancer female with decent sized belly belly dancer male was loud with clappy-things...didnt see his belly so i cant attest several courses you eat with your hands...big towels (in stead of napkins) and you'll need them because its a bit messy vegetarian substitution for meats it was fun with friends and a beautiful woman but expensive ... prob wouldnt go back

As all the other positive reviews have pointed out the food comes in severals courses all tasty.I would prefer a little more spice and found the food on the sweet side.Always get a coupon or call them and ask about coupons and they will more than likely discount your meal when you get there. Fun place for a group or celebration.Dark, sexy and smells great! I brought my parents several years ago and the waiter turned to mom and stated:; "in my country we wash the males hands first " and proceeded to pour the water on my Dad's hands before Mom's.The rest of the night was me calming her down explaining when in Rome yadda yadda.Other than that time I have had a blast.I can't imagine going more then a couple of times a year or it would lose it's exoticness. Plan on staying awhile. The courses are served in a lovely non-rushed way allowing plenty of time for enjoying your company.

It's more like 3.5 stars - but I am giving them four to be generous. The dark, slightly in need of a make-over Morracan digs are a great place to crash on a cusion or low couch with a crowd on a Friday or Saturday night when the hot mint tea flows, the belly dancers shake their thang and the hookah comes out of retirement. My 3 year old was enthralled by the belly dancer. Food is a set meal - with just about the best Bastilla (rabbit or chicken) around for miles. Lamb was tender and flavorful. Not a holy grail - but for Bucks County - where else ya gonna go for the "real deal" Moroccan cuisine? Plus - they are family owned and have been around for gotta be well over 20 years.

Beautiful and fun decor. Great staff - very jovial! Deeeeeeelicious food. Eight courses for $30 full of exotic (to Warrington, at least) foods is a steal. This BYOB is where it's at for a romantic dinner or a large group gathering. I cannot get enough of the Moroccan salads and pita. The baba ganoush was also so, so good. A second course of a sweet and savory dish was also yummy - egg and chicken in filo dough topped with powered sugar and cinnamon. Came out hot so it was a bit hard to eat with the hands at first (all but the 6th course of cous cous is eaten with the hands), and it was pretty messy, but you get towel for your lap to keep the mess on yourself to a minimum. Both boyfriend and I ordered the rabbit (whole rabbit in a flavorful tomato sauce with dates and raisins) and the lamb kebab. The rabbit was by far superior, though I am a big fan of the lamb, as well. By the time the kebabs came out, we were too full to dig in, so I'm eating them along with the cous cous for lunch today (mmm!). Fruit then baklava and mint tea rounded out the very filling, very tasty meal. The fruit was clearly very fresh and I happily partook of the juicy, seedless watermelon. Also the pineapple and red grapes. The baklava was perfect: dry and crunchy up top and gooey on the bottom. The mint tea was sweetened with honey and very tasty. The belly dancer was a lot of fun- she pulled me up to show me how to move my hips. Despite my lack of coordination, it was a lot of fun. Definitely into going back, next time with a large group.

As a vegan, I was a little scared to try a restaurant that might not understand my dietary restrictions. Instead, my friend and I were served an amazing 8 course meal that I was able to actually eat!!

This was my first time at a Moroccan restaurant and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice. They have a 7 course set menu, with choices of chicken, beef, lamb or rabbit for the entrees. There is also options for vegetarians. All the food was tasty, even the rabbit! The rabbit just tastes like chicken and was seasoned well. For dessert, I found it nice that they served an assortment of fresh whole fruit, such as bananas, apples, oranges and grapes. We took our time eating, which took about 2 hours. You definitely need 2 hours to eat, as there was a lot of food; I was so stuffed at the end of the dinner. The restaurant did not rush us at all, which was good considering that we didn't start eating until about 10:00 PM. There were belly dancers and a few of my friends even got up and danced with one of the belly dancers, which was entertaining and fun. The only negative was that we did come on a busy night (Saturday) and even though we had reservations we were not seated until at least 30-40 minutes later. Good thing they had a little comfy waiting area with seats. I would return to this place for Moroccan food in the Philly suburbs.

This being my third different Morroccan restaurant I was definitely excited to be trying a new place. $27 plus tax for an 8 course meal and BYOB. Who can beat that! All the courses were quite delicious. I loved that if you are there with one other person, you each get to choose your own entrees which means we got to taste more for our buck. Had the lamb which was amazing, lemon chicken (fell right off the bone, rabbit (sauce was great but cold), and beef kabobs(little touch but great taste). Decor makes you feel like you are in Morrocco except for the New Years Day decorations(restaurant manager if you are reading this please just leave the traditional decorations up and don't use the tacky NYD stuff). There is a beer store next doorin case you forget your own BYOB. Staff were extremely friendly but make sure to set aside at minimum 2.5 hours for this experience if not more. It took us almost 3 and we coudol have stayed a bit longer but had a movie to get to.

Very disappointed. I have mad reservations for 5 o'clock and was told that they are very busy and will have too settings. My large party had to fit at three little tables while there were empty tables next to us. Food was bland and cold. Towels smelled like mildew. I had to repeatedly remind our waiter about clean plates and bread. I hated the whole experience this was my last visit to Casablanca. Great way to ruin the birthday!

The decor was a nice intimate setting. We went for a rehearsal dinner and loved it. They started out with a trio of salads consisting of a sauteed eggplants that was amazing, a tomato cucumber salad that was alright, and a carrot salad that was very refreshing. It also came with humus and Baba ganouj that were very creamy and light. The waiter was very personal and encouraged a family style diningg experience. Next was the barrista, I think is what it was called. Phylo dough with egg, chicken almond cinnamon and sugar, it was very good. Then the meat courses. We tried the rabbit, spicy chicken, and almond chicken. All three were good but the rabbit was definitely the homerun. Then of course was the fresh fruit, baklava, and mint tea. Overall, I have been turned on to morrocan food and will definitely go back_

Casablanca was my first introduction into Moroccan cuisine, I really enjoyed the place. It is a bit dark inside, but the relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and outstanding food make it a great destination for group outings. I believe that you can order a 3 or 7 course meal, I definitely recommend the full blown 7 courses, it's really fun, and the food is just wonderful. The rabbit was my favorite course, extremely tender and bursting with flavor.

Tons of yummy food! For those who are hesitant to try new foods, you do get to make choices. You don't have to eat lamb or rabbit if you do not like it. You can choose chicken, beef or vegetarian dishes. As far as the bellydancers., Omar is hands down the best dancer! He was there the 1st Saturday of the month last I heard. Double check and make sure you catch him. Hookah?!? I've been there 4 times and never was offered a hookah!!! I am planning a girls night out to Philly to experience the hookah.....

One of my favorites! 7 course fixed menu with a vegetarian option. BYOB and great for a group. If you want great food and are silly enough to pass up the weekend Belly Dancing, get takeout. Can anyone really eat anything after the pita, dips, and salads?

My wife and I have been here about 3 or 4 times, and each time, we enjoy ourselves. The Belly Dancers are a bit ...Kitsch but hey, it's Doylestown on a Friday night. Being a BYOB is a plus. We bring a big bold red like a cabernet, and a sweeter white like a gewertz or a riesling because the foods change as the night goes on, and we like how the wine complements the different food. I think the service is excellent and they really make sure you have a good time. The Bastilla is good, the hummus and cucumber salad are excellent, and the Tagine dishes I have had, are really good. At the end of it all, the mint green tea mix helps everything to settle down. Mint green tea, I have had better. but if that is my only complaint, I think we are doing ok here. Call, make reservations, and get there some time. Better than Trendy Tangerine as far as food goes.
