Oh boy, this is bad. I could walk there but I won't be back for a while. Their philosophy in theory sounds great. But they don't know how to taste food. Either it's too salty or BLAND. Come on chef-you need a decent expeditor to make sure what goes out of the kitchen is going to be presentable and hot. We had the worst burger ever, the bread was rock hard and the fries were just old. I had the overcooked salmon on a sad bed of lettuce. first round of drinks took forever and then appetizers took forever then when the appetizers were out, the entrees came out-they need to fix this-the server was useless - we stopped using the iPad because it seemed like that's what was delaying the orders/food. and this was AFTER they put in the wrong table number in our iPad (server discovered this about 20 minutes later when apps and drinks didn't come). They need to go through some growing pains before i ever spend good money here AGAIN. So I love the idea of eating locally sourced food. However, if you are going to butcher and destroy the ingredients, well, I'm not sure what good that will do. Management was not in tune with all that went wrong with our evening-but you know I think we were really in good spirits that evening and didn't really fuss. The server was a kid that was probably still in high school-give them a bit better training in customer service but most of all, train them in what the menu items are-don't count on the iPad to sell it alone.

I have very torn feelings about Carmel... The overall experience is good. The outside looked very welcoming and you couldn't really tell you were in a strip mall, but it was raining so we sat inside. Inside is very warm and welcoming, there is plenty of seating and a large bar. However, as others have pointed out, there are some kinks and the food (except for the polenta and the bisque, don't change a thing about those) could use a lot of work. Pros: Decor/ambiance is very warm and inviting, you definitely want to hunker down for a few glasses of wine. You can order wine in small (3oz) medium/normal (6oz) or large (9oz) pours, and they have an extensive list. Just be careful, because the large pours get pretty pricey. The services was pretty good, friendly and everything came out quickly, there was some confusion over my order for a second glass of wine, but I'll touch on that later as it was more the fault of the IPads. The option of half or full portions for most of the dishes is nice, and gives you a chance to sample more and share different plates which I love to do when going out! The portions are large, and your meal comes with a soup or salad, the lobster bisque is the best part of the meal, and some of the best lobster bisque I have ever had. I still dream about the polenta that came with the short ribs. Cons: They have iPads at each table which you and your server put your order in from. They have the full menu and look pretty cool, but are actually more of a pain. I hated the iPads, I think it is meant to make it much easier for the diner, and you can order something yourself if you can't find your server. However I felt as though it took a lot of the personal touch out of the experience, and left awkward pauses when the server had to stop and put your order into the iPad in front of you. There was also a time when I told my server I wanted a second glass of wine, she thought I had already put it in the iPad so it never actually got put through. Another table told me that they accidentally rung food in through their iPad and the restaurant almost made them pay for it. The hostess was extremely rude, and unfriendly. I am not sure we got a real greeting and she did not look us in the eye once. The appetizers all sound very good, but did not live up to expectations.

Went there for the first time tonight and was very pleased. The food was delicious and I thought it was cool how they gave each table an iPad to order on. The ambiance was great and the staff professional. They have great happy hour deals too! Will definitely go there again.

I'd like to report that this restaurant's management takes customer comments seriously. After receiving an email to contact the managing owner, I called him as requested. He listened to the details of our experience and promised to share my observations with his team. He then asked that I return in the future and give them one more try. We did and our latest experience was much, much different than the first. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable ... using the available ipad as a compliment to her excellent service. The food was much better ... not celebrity chef quality but a good, casual meal. I'm sure that we'll go back. Kudos to management ... I now really feel that they value my business.

Stopped in to try something different. Nice patio out back but too humid to take advantage of it. iPad ordering is initially awkward but ability to see all dishes and keep track of your tab is very nice. Order the calamari - comes with fried peppers. Skip the lemon chicken, ours was slightly over cooked. Short ribs are a house favorite and come with a huge pile of gooey cheese disguised as polenta - very good.

The waiters were terrific and attentive. The bartenders were slamming glasses broke bottles in the fridge and never cleaned it out not good! Risotto was cold and lumpy. Obviously just rewarded and oil added to edges Steak frite was tough and served with French fries for $20 not worth the trip!!!

Food was delicious, but the ordering system was a bit confusing. The server was great and explained everything to alleviate our confusion. I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had a salad. Both were awesomely good. This is a great location for a quick lunch.

Not sure how I feel about this place. We tried it for the first time. Service was great and attentive. Drinks were good (bit on the pricey side) and we only tried the apps and no complaints. The chickpea fries were actually pretty tasty. Their food looked ok, but nothing really stuck out. Also found the iPads to be more of a pain than anything else. Setup (inside and out) is nice, but the location is just off. I thought it was ok for date night drinks and apps, but nothing beyond that.

Friendly staff. Good food for a quick bite and drink. Second time here just for bite and drink. Very pleased.

I would rather give 3.5 stars but not possible. Food was very good; we had Ahi Tuna, braised short ribs, Grouper and salads. All the food was fresh and very well prepared. We also enjoyed the ambiance; it's casual, but still nice enough for date night or special occasions. On the negative side, we felt rushed. Our dishes came out before we were done with the previous course - salads came out before we were done with the appetizer and main course came out before salads were done. I hate that. I think partial blame is on their ordering system. Others have mentioned the use of iPads for ordering and I am NOT a fan. First, it's gross. I don't want to touch it after getting it from the waitress who got it from the hostess who got if from other guests, just before eating. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Also the wait staff uses it to send orders to the kitchen, first for the appetizer and then for the rest of the meal. It feels like the timing was off all around. We liked the food and the ambiance and it's hard to find non-chain restaurants, so we will go back. but I'll be extra careful about when orders are placed and that iPad thingy is not going on our table.

Awesome place with extremely pleasant staff. My bartender Julia and another server helped me pick something that would fit with my diet. Everything is made with quality ingredients and there is something for everyone! I got the beet salad with shrimp on top and a side of quinoa. When a man next to me asked for some garlic bread the Julia was courteous enough to ask each person at the bar if they were interested in having some bread as well. The drink menu is unique and delicious! I got the lavender lemonade.

My mom had recently been to Carmel for Happy hour and made suggested that the three of us (her, my dad, and myself) Saturday night. I liked the ambience/environment a lot. It felt very open and spacious (they could have crammed a bunch more tables in to the seating areas, but left it open - a rare, but nice touch.) Our server was experienced and very knowledgeable about the menu. The three of us split the margherita flat bread. Enjoyed that. A bit on the small side, but for a shared appetizer, ti was nice. I ordered the Basque Crab Cakes. The crab cakes themselves weren't very big, but there were 3 in the order (I opted for the "large" portion). The crab cakes were really flavorful and had a nice spice to them, without being overwhelmingly spicy. The avocado salad on the side was kind of a throw-away and "meh", but I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the black olive ceasar salad as my appetizer, and that was really good. Could have used a bit more black olive flavoring (I assumed black olives would be infused into the dressing.) My mom ordered the short ribs and loved them (small portions) and my dad ordered the filet, which was perfectly cooked to his liking and a decent portion. We also tried the chocolate lava cakes and grilled pound cakes for dessert. The chocolate lava cakes were so rich, but very chocolate-y. The grilled poundcake was good - I would have liked it a bit on the softer side. I'm not sure if it still was firm from refrigeration or from the grilling. Service overall was quick and attentive for the most part. I wasn't blown away by any of the food, but enjoyed my experience nonetheless. My one suggestion would be to increase the number of entrees on the menu (or ditch the iPads). Yes, it's great that you can see exactly what the dish will look like and also see suggested wine pairings (for some of the dishes) but with maybe 10-12 entree options, it felt to me like they were using the iPad with all of the different menus (drinks! wine! appetizers! dessert! specials that might not be specials!) to hide/distract from the number of entrees. I don't mind only having a few options for entrees, it appeared to be overkill, though, with the iPads.

This is slowly becoming one of my favorite places to eat on Friday and Saturday nights. Its a tapas/small plates concept place. Their menu changes with the seasons, and i have yet to have something i didn't like, and i believe i went thru pretty much the whole menu. Everything comes out hot, very well seasoned and artful. You'll definitely want to snap a few pictures if you are a foodie. Highly recommend; Braised Short Rib Flat Bread, Black Olive Caesar Salad, Filet Medallions, Braised Short Ribs, Lobster and Shrimp Risotto (DEFINITELY A MUST), Moroccan Lemon Chicken. I love the whole concept that you can order things from their menu at anytime via the iPad that they give you at check in, this way you time it as you like it and not have to be faced with drowning yourself in hot soup because the main entree was just placed on your table as well.... And you can also see photos of pretty much every dish they offer on their menu, hows that for eye candy - food porn lover??? As far as people complaining about this place being pricey, that's a steep slope. Expensive is something that varies from one person to another, in my eyes, sure, its a bit pricey for the portions, but in my honest opinion, they are very very worth it. Food comes out super hot, fresh, amazingly seasoned, non oily and everything just comes together like a well orchestrated play. Great service and very cozy and semi romantic atmosphere. You will definitely leave this place happy and smiling. One word of advice/wish to the place, please add and incorporate some wasabi shrimp infused mashed potatoes to your entrees or a side. Not a bi fan of the cauliflower mash or creamy polenta.

I've been to Carmel in Wayne and again the other day in Warrington. I enjoyed myself both times, the atmosphere, menu and service are always spot on. That said, both times I've visited, the food has left a little something to be desired. It's not bad, AT ALL, but it's certainly not 4-5 stars and for a restaurant that boasts farm-to-table, I would expect more. But, it's always a solid 3-3.5 stars, and the last time I went I had a French Dip sandwich that had the potential of blowing my mind, except the bread was over toasted and hard as a rock :-( I will definitely visit Carmel again, and hope that they perfect the food as much as they've perfected everything else!

This is a surprise (it has an outdoor seating area with heaters too and inside is cozy with a bar). Using an iPad you can order your meal, see photos, daily specials and call a server. You can even pay when you are done. Food is delivered quickly once you order it so don't do it all at once. We tried the chickpea fries (unusual texture and fun to try with the curry aioli and tomato jam dipping sauces). My honey enjoyed the beet salad and portabella mushroom and short rib flatbread. I ordered a small serving of the GF lemon morrocan chicken with roasted vegetables and it was delish. It would definitely be a lunch spot for us however I guess you could go there for dinner. It's quick, easy to park and has a fun vibe. It is a concept to support local farmers which I love. You can order multiple drink sizes i.e. 3 oz, 6 oz etc. I'd go back and think it is a good concept and hope it only gets better.

I have been coming to this location since it opened over the summer. I like the concept of the iPad to order without having to call your waiter or waitress over every time you want another drink or appetizer. They also have traditional paper menus for people who prefer them. The $5 happy hour specials are great (5-7pm). I love the chickpea and calamari frites and usually get a glass of red wine. The infused martinis are also delicious. I recently went here for a sit down dinner with some girlfriends on a Monday night. The waitress was very nice and didn't (seem to) mind that we had people coming and going from our table. We didn't feel rushed which was nice and stayed for about 4 hours. I ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto and it was creamy and delicious. My friend suggested I get the oil on the side which was perfect. The waitress was nice enough to split our bills according to what we had each ordered. After a few happy hour drinks, appetizers, an entree and tip, I spent about $45, reasonable for the service and time spent in the restaurant. Even though I think the flatbreads are not very good, I give Carmel 5 stars because they have half priced bottles of wine on Wednesday's! They obviously know the way to my heart.

We sat at the bar, our bartender was a cute young female in her early twenties. I think her name was Annie. Anyway, she was super nice and very knowledgable about the wines. She poured tiny samples of a few and let me pick my favorite- and the winner was.....DARKHORSE CABERNET! Super yummy. For dinner she suggested having the seafood pasta, and for my husband, the short ribs. Mine was great but my husband, who ordered a "small" size was disappointed because it was too, well, small. But they were very good. The iPads are cool, they have pictures of all of the menu items so you can see what the food looks like. How cool! We will be returning soon.

Some reviews are harder to start than others. I'm struggling to get my "Mojo" going........ Our first time was tonight - early Saturday evening not particularly crowded on our entrance, but it quickly filled. Mounting our trusty bar stools - my wife and I were immediately stuck by the following: 1). Cool - an iPad serves as a menu and drink list. Very entertaining. 2). Immediate attention from the bartender - Andy. (The girl Andi, not the boy Andi). Andi offered several wine options to my wife, including small samplers. Andy. Gets 4 stars for professionalism and product knowledge. 3) Jacob (Manager??) was behind the bar as well and genuinely seemed interested in our opinions and thoughts. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Enough on the first impressions - what about the food you ask????? Genuinely - good to very good. Carmel has got the service part down to a "T". The food is never bad, but again, not spectacular. (To be totally honest - we had a small sampling of the food - More exploration is necessary). We had: - calamari frites - AMAZING with terrific sauce, not a traditional execution of the usual. - Spinach Gnocchi - fabulous! With a light cream sauce - I could bathe myself in this stuff! - Mac and Cheese - hmmm limited Poorly drained made for watery sauce and lessened the flavor - suggestions.. Shallow dish in lieu of the deep dish. Maybe some more flavor. What would make Carmel fabulous would be a slight elevation of the food's creativity. You won't have a bad meal - you will have a nice night and pretty good food. Enjoy.... We'll be back.

Happy hour specials are good but otherwise the food is overpriced for the quality. Atmosphere is nice, however you can tell that it's a chain. I had the mango martini which was too sweet and nothing special. Wine selection is decent especially for the area. Calamari was average. I also had the steak frites which was surprisingly good. All in all, I would go back to Carmel but only for happy hour specials.

To be fair, I think 2.5 stars would be a better choice. I like the atmosphere, the staff is pleasant and efficient. The food can be good but some dishes are just ordinary, at best. One thing that I think needs some work is the flat bread pizza. This pizza is just lacking toppings and favors. A flat bread is usually topped with many flavorful toppings. These topping are sparse and the flat bread is more like a cracker. One of the best dishes is a beet salad. Very good and healthy. The menu is interesting but as I said some of the food needs some work, at least in my opinion.

Great ambience inside and out. Nice seating outside with sofas and fireplace, great service, good food. I ordered Moroccan chicken lime large size and feels like normal portion size.

My wife loves tapas and this is the closest thing in the area. The food is always good. The service is hit or miss. The wine is hit or miss as well. We brought my inlaws about a month ago. We waited 45min to get seated and we had a reservation. They seated two people at a fourtop in front of us and we were there before them and our reservation was before theirs. We learned you have to get wine by the bottle. We've been going to the Warrington location since it opened.

We walked into the restaurant this afternoon for lunch. We were acknowledged promptly by the hostess and sat down. At no point were we actually greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. We were seated with paper menus and iPads. Again, we were not told what the iPad's were for, and we took notice that the menu was also in there. We ordered our drinks from the iPad and the bartender came over to provide us with water, and asked us if we wanted to order drinks. We informed him that we already placed or order with the iPads. Our server came over shortly thereafter. He introduced himself and asked if we wanted to place a food order. Still unsure if he was taking our order or if we needed to place it ourselves, he picked up the iPad and told us that he likes to place the order himself. We ordered just an appetizer (the pear and bleu cheese flatbread special for the day). After placing our order he walked away. I took notice that the order was rang through the iPad as a LOBSTER FLATBREAD with a pear substitute. (The lobster flatbread was $4 more!). Why not just choose the pear flatbread from the specials menu? When I had inquired with him about the flatbread order he looked genuinely surprised that I had mentioned it. He seemed to be aware that he had entered it incorrectly and then stated he "didn't think there was MUCH of a price difference". It was a 40% higher priced entree! And said that he'd fix it. It seemed very deceiving to us to choose the most expensive flatbread on the menu and then substitute its toppings. It was adjusted and we paid and left. We were one of three couples having lunch in the restaurant at this time. As we left, the manager asked us how our meal was and we kind of just said, hmmm, ok. Needless to say, we won't be eating here again. The drinks were good on the bright side. But that's about all that I can say was good about our experience. Just keep an keen eye on your virtual check....

Found this place on a Sunday on the open table app. They offered a trio $16 meal so we each tried one since it was our first time in this place. Wife had the hummus app, black olive Caesar salad and the basil salmon. I had the calamari app, house salad, and steak frites. Topped it all off with the strawberry shortcake dessert. Definitely will be back and bringing the rest of the family too. The waitstaff and management are the best and very informative. Their portions all have a small/large option and the iPads on each table allows everyone ordering a meal to see exactly how the meal is presented.

Came here on a Saturday mid-afternoon for drinks and apps, basically just to check this place out. The decor is gorgeous, and bar is pretty large and the bartender was very friendly. Their cocktails are yummy, I tried the fresh pressed Sangria, and for the 13$ you get at least 3.5 full glasses, and it is soooo fresh! My boyfriend had a ginger beer infused cocktail and it was definitely different, but very refreshing. We each got an appetizer. I had the lollipop meatballs (basically meatballs on a stick) and they were delish... Cooked just right and the sauce was fantastic. My bf had the lemon/chicken/artichoke flat bread and it was soooooooo good! We will definitely be back to try dinner! A couple of random notes... The restaurant is iPad interactive which is pretty cool, but I think the waitstaff is still getting used to it as well because it wasn't really working properly. And they have outside seating with fire pits which looks pretty awesome!

I'm surprised by the good reviews. I was there last night and it seemed like there was no clue on what food/drinks belonged where. Drinks took forever to come out and people waited over an hour and got their food order or their drink order...not both...without waiting another 20 minutes. Once I got my food it was pretty good, but I was charged for the wrong item on my bill (overcharged) and just said "screw it" and because it would have probably taken another hour to get it figured out. If you are going to go, plan for maybe a slower time of day. Me? I'm not planning to go back anytime soon.

Saturday evening without reservations. Walk in. Restaurant was half full. Seated quickly. iPad ordering was a novelty. Had paper menus and iPad menu. Maybe it was me but I thought the iPad menu prices were generally higher than paper menu. Service was fine. Food arrived quickly. We were not high rollers taxing the skills of the kitchen. $55 ticket for two including two drinks. Ambience is fine. Outdoor fire pit looks good apart for location next to Wegmans supermarket entrance with high traffic. Overall fairly good. I wouldn't wait in line for an hour for the place but it a seat us available, why not. Order beer not wine to keep tab lower.

Nice decor and atmosphere, friendly service, good drinks, decent food. I like that most of the entrees you have a choice of a small portion or a large portion. The red sangria was good and I will try the white next time. Food came out very quick! A big plus when you have kids with you. Not fond of ordering on the ipad, would rather order with the waiter. Had shrimp and pasta, but the tomato sauce was very sweet and too oily. Not sure what that was about, but the shrimp was tasty. Next time I would order the same dish but without the sauce. The pressed burger was tasty too. Wished they had music on the outside patio.

The front of the house set up was a little confusing and disorienting but the staff was friendly. We were there on a busy night so it took a while to be seated but it was worth the wait. This restaurant has a great outdoor seating area. Ordering was a little different as well. There were waitresses and servers but you put your order in on an iPad. We ordered a bottle of wine and a few apps to try out. The flat breads and calamari were good but nothing to write home about. Kids menu is also very limited.

Went to buy a gift cert for somebody with obviously nondiscriminating taste and stood at the bar while painfully slow C. ignored us for over 5 minutes. He never made eye contact. We were dead to him. Finally a man who appeared to be a manager came out from the back, looked at us, looked questioningly towards C. and then waited on us.

The presence of the outside of this restaurant is impeccable, but once you walk inside you are greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. I was seated quickly and promptly greeted by my waitress. The food menu has an extraordinary selection and I cannot compliment them more for using locally grown ingredients. I would highly recommend this to family and friends as well as newcomers.

Great atmosphere inside and outside. The Mediterranean cuisine is a nice change of pace from the typical restaurant menu. My favorites are the chick pea fries and the Moroccan lemon chicken. Both the entrees and wine come in choice of portion/pour size, which is nice. I have dined here several times for both lunch and dinner. The food is always good, although not always consistent (sometimes the Moroccan chix is spicy and sometimes not). Having said that, it still gets 4 stars and is a stand out in Warrington, a town filled with mediocre chain restaurants.

  • Anna P.

I'm generously giving 3 stars because the atmosphere was different and I had the night with my daughter all to myself. Wine selection good and waiter was knowledgeable. Food pricey and small portions. I enjoyed flatbread and my daughter liked her risotto. iPads were a good idea to check out wine pairings but I did not use it for our order. Two peeves. It was hard to distinguish staff from customers since all dressed differently. Did not take away soup bowl when my entree was brought. May stop in again for drink after shopping but not for dinner.

Ok, the restaurant needs to work out some kinks. First the cool iPads that don't really work well. Watching the hostess try one after another to find one that would display the Happy Hour drinks was painful. Then they did the one thing that I believe is the ultimate sin for restaurants. Coming out with the main course before we finished the appetizers. To make matters worst, they didn't even clear the empty soup bowls. As far as the food, it was ok. I like the fact that they locally source their food. I had the short ribs, which were good, I just didn't get the feta cheese on top of them. The other 5 people I was with seemed to like what they ordered. Oh, if you get the special martini's... Don't!!! The one I had tasted good as juice... But I don't think there was a drop of alcohol in it... Maybe a drop... Oh well, what did I expect from a happy hour drink.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar with my wife and a few friends. I loved being able to order on an ipad but also enjoyed the interaction with the wait staff. The food was served at a nice pace and we did not feel rushed at all. Everything was delicious. It's a great place to get together with family and friends. And I loved the fireplace out front. Can't wait until it gets a bit warmer so we can enjoy the outside fireplace area,

We had dinner here Sun night, and I can't think of anything nice to say about this place. There were not many people dining, and the service was horrible. There were four of us, and all did not like our meals. Unless they get their act together, they will be gone soon.

Had a late lunch yesterday. When we got there it was warm with some sun so I really wanted to eat outside on their couches. The waiter seated us and took our drink orders. Came back with a clear serve yourself bottle of water, which was welcomed. Service was slow, which was weird cause it was empty. Was this waiter new? He left the IPad on the (dirty....never cleaned off coffee/dining table. I didn't ask him to, I wanted to see if he would clean it. It was filthy. He never did) coffee table but never explained to us that we could use the IPad to order. So maybe that's why it took an excruciatingly long time before he took our order? And the sun moved so by now I'm freezing and it's obvious. But this waiter never offers to turn on the heater that's right there!!!! I got their pressed angus burger. Pressed was just another word for super thin and super dry. I asked for no bun. Presentation was more like a diner than the upscale eatery image they convey. The apricot quinoa side was very good though. The chicken lemon flatbread was also delicious, as is their sangria. Over all I wasn't impressed though and could only see myself going back for a cocktail on their patio. My first experience just didn't wow me enough to want to go back, which is a shame cause I've been wanting to come here since they opened last summer. And PS, your wait staff constantly parading onto the patio to go out to the side of the building (maybe for a smoke) then parading back when finished is very noticeable and annoying!

This was a good place to eat, nice ambience and friendly staff. I wanted to like this plus on the 5 star range, but it was missing some things. The IPads on the table were a great idea. Faster orders, changes made were typed in and sent right to the kitchen. The pictures were also helpful in deciding what to eat. The decor was lovely, there was obviously a lot of thought put into the decor. The staff is friendly and constantly checking on how everything was and can I get you anything else the whole time. I also LOVED how water was in a chilled wine sized bottle at the table in case you liked water and wanted more. Very creative! The food was just OK. My husband's dessert was delicious it was a caramelized pound cake with whip cream and strawberries. My poached pear was not poached enough. The pear was not sweet and that made it even less edible. My Branzino was bland and the angel hair pasta with it was also not seasoned enough. I also had the roasted vegetables, which was what I was looking forward to most. The picture was more mouth-watering than the finished product. All this being said I liked every other thing about this place that perhaps it was a bad kitchen day. I hope so.

My new favorite place. Ordering with the ipads is so convenient. My appetizer came out so quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The service here is great and I love the ambience. I ordered the salmon as my entrée and it was cooked to perfection. I also had the red sangria which was excellent as well.

Wow! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try; you won't regret it. My friends and I just got back from having a wonderful dinner at Carmel. We couldn't have asked for better service, better ambience, or better food and drinks. You will be blown away. I am usually a little hard to please, so it is not often that I rave about a place. The sangria, martinis, appetizers...everything...is top notch, and even better, the prices are extremely reasonable. We got to meet the owner and two of the managers. It is obvious that they want this place to be a success and have put a lot of effort into training the staff. Frankly, we didn't want to leave. I can't wait to bring a new batch of friends here. Carmel is definitely my new favorite restaurant!

My friend and I came last night for happy hour. Our server was nice but if you are gluten free, there is next to nothing on the menu. I will be sticking with my happy hours in Doylestown from now on. What we had wasn't that great, sadly. I really wanted to like a place so close to home.

First time visit. Loved it. Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices. We did not order entrees, but instead enjoyed a glass of wine with the "Muhammarra" hummus, a couple of house salads and veggie sides of roasted potatoes and haricot verts. Shared a pound cake w/ strawberries for dessert. Everything was great. We will be back!

This place is amazing and I can't wait to go back! Our server, Jeremy, was fun and very knowledgeable and professional. He joked along with my husband and I and was very fun. We were there celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was such a great atmosphere. Our spinach dip appetizer was phenomenal and our entrees super tasty. My husband had the sea bass and I had the veal, both were absolutely delicious. We both had wine, of course, which was hard to choose from the extensive menu. The iPad ordering and menu were cool, my I.T. husband was amused by it. For dessert I had the chocolate lava cake... YUM!! And my husband had the cheese cake sampler... ALSO YUM!! I definitely enjoyed myself and would go back in a second.

Had dinner @ the bar w/ my wife. The drinks were outstanding but not better than the service and staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied or needed anything. The cocktails- excellent, the food- very good and cooked perfectly with just the right portion size. Since they just opened, I'd say we were lucky to just walk in and get to eat right away. Come the end of summer, this place will be packed as usual. That is what it is designed to do by the corp. running it.

I have come here 3 times. Of all the appetizers and entrees ordered I've liked them all except one entree. But I really don't care for the iPad ordering process. It's very complicated even after 3 visits and it's enough to make me probably not go back.

Love this place. Great Angus burger. Love the bun. It's a giant flat roll that is crispy yet also soft. The fries are great. Zesty and crisp. The chickpea fries...eh. I loved the sauces, but, even though the fries had a zing (in the after taste), I wish it had been REALLY fried. John had lobster bisque which he said was great. Also, LOVED the custom cocktails . Honey (in Doylestown) always has really cool cocktails which I've never found elsewhere...until now. Do NOT LEAVE without ordering the molten chocolate lava cake. It. Is. Erotic. We also had the creme brulee which was really good and the portion was larger than most places serve. We sat at the bar, Andy was our bartender and she was attentive without being annoying. I LOVE the "ipad" like menu where you can read about the food AND THEN ORDER and it also shows how much your bill is going to be. I think that's ingenious. Great decor. The only thing I didn't like was the music playing. Cheesy 90's music. Great addition to the area!

I will probably never come back to this place. We made a reservation for 8pm, but didn't get seated until 9:30. Maybe I could forgive this if the place was busy, but it was not! There were many open booths and seats everywhere! When we were finally seated, food took forever to come out and was just sub-par. For the prices, when you order filet mignon you are hoping it doesn't come out charred and black like mine did. The salmon was also extremely fishy. Obviously, we were starving at that point and just ate without complaining. Unfortunately, that night all three of us who went to dinner were sick to our stomachs. The food was nothing special, but the wine was very good. My friend had a great mixed drink she really loved. I expected a lot more considering the price and the atmosphere or I would have just gone out to Friday's or Chili's or something. I'm sure the food sickness was a complete accident and it happens to the best of us, but overall it was just a bad experience. I am more concerned by the service! We also heard plenty of other people complaining that night. Way too expensive for what you get. I would only go back for drinks!

Atmosphere was wonderful would have sat outside but it was to humid. Great wine selection. Started with appetizer pork bellies very good. Soup lobster bisque great taste could have had more lobster meat in it. Main course Braised short ribs they were absolutely wonderful, get the large portion or you will regret it. To top it off even the coffee was good. Service was wonderful. Price for everything we got was very reasonable. We will be back.

They have a great wine selection and a few local craft beers. The Tunisian chicken entree was excellent. Each table gets an iPad with more in depth menu descriptions as well as a gluten free menu. They butter the top of the bun for the burger, so that is really greasy. My dad sent his burger back because it was overdone. The second one was still overdone, but he ate it anyway. If you want a burger medium, ask for it rare or medium rare.

Went for appetizers and some drinks. Very good service, great food and cocktails. Pretty cool that they give you an iPad at the table to order items and pay your check. Definitely will be back soon.

Went there with friends. The IPad takes some time to get used to and the wait staff was not all good at it as well. Ordered two sizes of wine. Came out wrong and waitress just poured one glass in to the other to make the up the difference!! What! Ran out of beer that we ordered so chose a difference one and was charged for both. Had to reajust the bill. Food was ok. I think they are still getting the kinks worked out. Will try this place again in a month or two.

First time here. It's a Sunday afternoon. The food was excellent, the drinks were very good, service was very good as well. We sat outdoors on the patio with hip modern music playing on the background. Great vibe on a nice sunny afternoon! Price was fair. We will definitely be back!

It's new and I think they're still getting the kinks out. It was loud. I had the Steak Frites which was excellent. My friend had the Moroccan Lemon Chicken which had no lemon flavor and a large fennel bulb that was inedible! Manager credited us for the chicken which was appreciated. Try the Lava cake, it's an OMG moment. Will come back to try the outdoor seating area.

Disappointing. Three stars is generous. Waiter seemed bored and uninterested. One waitress I overheard was sarcastic with her table near us and we "joked" about their tip that decreased with each encounter. Food ok, one of their wines is in my wine rack right now so not that exciting. Doubtful I will be back. Don't need attitude from the wait staff.

Interesting use of technology, well crafted food, comfortable well lit dinning area, efficient service, over priced wine, optional small or large plate menu. Overall good experience. Would recommend it and will too again soon.
