I love diners and I was debating driving 11 miles out of my way to find an IHOP; but instead I found this little gem. I came from way out of town and I felt like I was transported to the 50's. Prices are reasonable, food delicious. Place is very clean and open (seating is spread out nicely). My waitress, Debbie, was super nice and pleasant. They allow for slight variations or substitutions as well on the menu. Would definitely come back here again if I am in this neck of the woods. :)

I used to come here quite often but it really gets mixed in with all the other diners in the area. Nothing too special to stand this place out. Food is great! It doesn't come out in a greasy mess like some diners. Only reason for the missing star is that I feel our waitress was really avoiding us. Didn't ask for refills and only came by for orders and to deliver food

This is a good place for breakfast. I like the florentine omelet the best, and especially enjoy getting French fries instead of home fries. They are no longer open for dinner. The staff is friendly.

I have to say we were hesitant about this place as we have passed by a few times and it just seemed empty. We finally got off the fence one Saturday evening and decided to give it a shot. Walk in for the first time and there seemed to be be more people serving than actually dining. The decor is also a bit "different" for a diner. Well, on to the food: Omelette: Wife ordered one with feta and said it was tasty. Kids Meals: Decent value for what you get (drink and dessert included). We ordered the cheeseburger and a grilled cheese. Even though they were off the kids menu, the sandwiches were a decent size. Judging by their clean plates, I'm guessing they were good too. Bacon Cheeseburger: I wasn't sure what to expect with the burger, but was taken back when it came out loaded with a monster patty on one side of the bun and all the fixings on other. I have to say it was a damn tasty burger too. The service was good as well. Guess this place fits the "don't judge a book by it's cover" saying as the facade or location may not be inviting, interior might leave you puzzled, but the food is solid. I'll have to go here on a weekend morning and give this diner experience another try. More to come!

My wife and I were very surprised to find such good food in a small diner for a good price . We had omlets that were filling and free coffee before 10 am . Service was very good they don't keep bugging you they serve you and leave you to eat. Staff is super friendly and pleasant. Will be back for sure !!

We're giving it a nearly 4-star nod. It's a surprise of a place. It's so non-diner-like on the outside that we'd always passed up on it. Inside, it's cute. Servers are attentive. Prices seemed like a value. Coffee and hash browns were perfect. Got the order a tad wrong, but no big deal. Hash is their specialty. I couldn't afford the calories, but if I could, I'd try hash in one of their creative recipes. I love family businesses; I hope this one grows.

I have been here only for breakfast so I will naturally limit my review to only that meal. Service - Excellent. The staff never leaves you with an empty coffee cup. They are eager to please you and are welcoming in every way. No one acts as if you they are doing you a favor. You are treated as someone who they want to please, and want to return. Food - Scrambled eggs are actually scrambled and not just an omelette looking bunch of eggs. I regularly get a cheese omelette often with onions. It is large and always perfectly done. I get my toast dry with butter patties on the side. Coffee is delicious, hot, and plentiful. Prices - I think the prices are good. Coffee may be a bit high but it is an endless cup and of very high quality. 10% discount for seniors over 60 before 5:00 and 15% discount for all after 5:00. Ambience - perhaps you're used to a diner atmosphere but this is not what Ace gives you. I have no issue with it being a restaurant using a diner name, though there are no cakes and cookies for retail sale. The counter was formerly used as a sushi counter so it is not large as in some "real" diners. I will give Ace Diner 4 Stars, but only because I haven't yet been there for any meal other than breakfast. The breakfast is 5 Star and I find myself eating there multiple times each week.

After being told a 45 minute wait at IHOP for breakfast, we decided to try out this place instead. The breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. It doesn't feel very diner-like on the inside at all, but the staff was all friendly and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

These folks "hit the ground running" when they opened. The food is very good. Try the florentine omelette. Just delicious. AND you can get things made with egg-beaters to save your heart. They give a nice discount on your check if you "check in" over social media while you're there. And they have a couple of old-fashioned waitresses who call you "hon" and make everything just so.
