We tried this place for the first time today, New Year's Day, 2014 around 1:30 in the afternoon. Business was bustling so we had a wait, but it was pretty short considering there were about 5 customers before us waiting to be seated also (less than 10 minutes). I had a very good greek omelette that was served with tasty home fries. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger, which he said tasted very fresh. The lettuce and tomato that accompanied it were DEFINITELY fresh. They looked and tasted like they had been delivered that very morning. Our waitress, Kristen, was at our table almost immediately offering up pretty good coffee. Our food was delivered quickly and hot, and she was always available without hovering. We really liked her. A couple could eat breakfast or lunch here for $20 or less. The service was great, and the food was better than most diners.

The service is quick and the food is tasty. They serve breakfast all day and the open face turkey is awesome!

Pretty good diner; above most of the others in the area. Fast service, good coffee, friendly staff, and well-executed classics. Definitely check this place out; it holds up to many diners. For breakfast, get the pancakes; for dinner, get the sirloin or a club sandwich.

Service was great. My waitress was a sweet older lady, efficient, quick and friendly. Atmosphere was nice. Clean looking. Food was so-so. Nothing special. Got breakfast, but the hash brown was a bit soggy.

How hard is it to make a pancake?? It was more like a banquet style pancake hard and dry. Worst ever

Good diner food just like any other. I'm not a huge fan on diners but this is a good one with many options off the menu. My husband and I have been there a couple times for breakfast and lunch when we can't decide what we want to eat. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable.

I have stopped here 2x for breakfast. Scramble eggs with cheese, toast & home fries, I have no complaints, hot food & coffee fast and friendly staff.

Not as good as other diners in the area but decent. A star is lost for cleanliness. There was visible dust and dead bugs on the ledge that divides the two sets of tables. Gross. Also the space between the seats and the table in the booths was very small so it was uncomfortable trying to feed my daughter.

I love me a good diner. What can I say? I was born in Jersey. Respect it! How did this one size up? It was..Fine. That's the only way to really describe it. Was early to catch a train and came in here for a cup of soup. If I owned a diner up here in the Northeast, where there is such an abundance of them, I'd probably attempt to do something to set myself apart. I didn't see that here. That being said, decent cup of French Onion Soup..

The place was pretty busy, but it is Friday, the Fourth of July, so it's like Sunday morning. ..restaurants are crowded. Service was good, the men's room was spotless, and the food was good.

It's the only good diner nearby. A lot of food for your money.

The French Toast and sausage were delicious. The coffee was hot. The waitress was very attentive and the prices were very reasonable!

Another family owned and operated diner, which has a very large menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have been here mostly for breakfast or late at night after a girls night out. Portions are large and the food is good, not the best, but good. I've never had a problem with the service, however the food and atmosphere "of caring" has gone downhill since Michael's string of restaurants have taken over. Not my first choice in diner's, as the prices continue to rise and the quality continues to lower. They used to be open 24/7. I forgot to take notice in this on my past visit. They used to be the place to go after a late night out and needing a food fix.

The first time I was here I had the Short Stack of Pancakes with a side of Scrapple. Both were very very good and I was excited for the next time my girlfriend wanted to go there. Unfortunately the last time I was there with her and her brother we were not so pleased with our meal. The homefries were basically raw potatoes and the pancakes were dry as dirt. On the other hand the scrapple was again delectable. The one upside was the service was very good. Would probably give it one more try before I put it on my "Do Not Eat There" List.

Since the Michael's chain took over, it's not the same quality of food. It's not bad, but it's not good either. Stick with breakast, and if you must, lunch is OK too, but skip the dinner all together (unless you are ordering breakfast for dinner or sandwiches). Everything tends to taste the same, and it's usually grease laden. Service is OK, but not what I like in a diner (I love it when the waitstaff calls me "hon!").

Man, I have a bad habit of reading yelp reviews while sitting at the table ready to order or while waiting for the coffee to be brought. Big mistake. Once i read the reviews i knew i was fucked... sure enough the coffee came out (luke warm mud) took one sip. cheese omelet was as stated in one of the reviews on here... A big blob of flavorless cheese goop wrapped around what appears to be that milk carton egg stuff... Pour and cook. the toast was burnt and home fries were down right nasty. the waiter was nice enough but spent too much time flapping his gums about gambling. My wife and i always wanted to try this place because it looks cool from the outside... looks are deceiving. i will stick with the boulevard diner.

Wha...?!? Like the mythical beast Hydra, the Michael's restaurant empire sprouted a new head when I wasn't paying attention and spewed it's evil breath of mediocrity upon another perfectly good diner!! We used to live near to Warminster West and it was a favorite - they made great breakfasts and just had good basic food in general. We were in the area last weekend and hungry and it was late and we decided to pop in. As we read the front of the menu and realized they had become part of the Michael's chain we looked up at each other in mutual dismay. Michael's had already ruined two of our other favorite diners (Country Club on Cottman Ave. and the Mayfair) We almost got up left and really should have but we were tired and hungry. Not that a lot of their food is terribly bad; it's just....not good. We ordered cheese omelets and they arrived lying limply on the plate, cheese amost melted, next to tasteless, almost warm potatoes. Hubby had substituted fries and they were the greasy vomitus kind with the weird fake crispy texture (like when Burger King changed their fries and everyone hated them?). Soon after I ate I had a stomach ache so they must have used cheap or bad cooking oil as well though the food was not particularly greasy going down. This is pretty much the same type of experience we have had at every other Michael's owned establishment. So if you are desparate and nothing else is open and you want almost warm, sort of edible food stop on in.

It's an okay place. It's gotten to be on the expensive side lately--this is unfortunate. My whole family used to go here but now we head for cheaper alternatives.

Barf. The ONLY reason I visited this place is because it was a holiday, everything was closed and I didn't have any cereal at home. I would rather starve than come here again. YUCK
