Driving from Niagara Falls to Washington DC we were searching for pie. This atmospheric venue has three sections. There's a dining area where you can watch pizzas being skillfully made amidst firehouse memorabilia, a second dining section and a servery selling ice cream and PIE. The pie choice didn't disappoint: coconut cream, blackberry, cherry, turtle cheesecake and several others. The place looks like it probably gets quite lively, but even with just a few diners it's a good place to linger.

I found this place to be pretty good. On this trip we had a white pizza, and added some meatball to it... Great flavor, and really unique. I like the theme of this place, you can tell they really thought it out before opening, and it really adds to the character. Another plus is they offer outdoor patio seating on really nice, and comfortable table and chair sets. Overall this place has a great menu with lots to choose from (even an outside ice cream window) and I will stop back again for sure if I'm in the area.

My husband and I heard it was a good place to eat so we drove from State College to try it out. I was very very disappointed with the way we were treated. We sat in the back dining area. After we sat ourselves like the sign suggests that we were supposed to do, we were ignored by the staff. There were no place settings on the table we chose so my husband reached over and got two from the other table near by. The waitress came over and yelled at him. My husband appologized to her for messing up her settings from the other table. We thought she was going to go and get us a menu....no....she went and got more place settings for that other table. Then she continued to ignore us and went to the icecream area and stood talking to another employee out there. After this she went over to some other customers at the counter to talk personal with them. They had already finished eating...the dishes were piled beside the and they were sitting and talking and finishing their drinks. The waitress continued to ignore us. My husband and I got up and left at this point. NOT one of the staff members acknowledged our presence or us leaving without being waited on. If we ever decide to go back we will definately not sit in that waitresses area. This waitress was the older one and she acted like she had her favorite OLD regulars and she didn't want to be bothered. Good luck staying in business with an older grabby snotty uncaring waitress. This is what brings business down.

I just ordered from here tonight. I got a chicken cheesesteak. It was all bread. I mean maybe a couple chunks of chicken smushed thru out the bread. Disappointing!

Nothing special. Most everything comes from frozen bags in the back. They didn't have chili when we went. The waitress let me order it then came back to tell me they didn't have it. No apology. I guess they have big pizzas. 30". Portions try to compensate for bland food.

The Family Chill & Grill (& Fire House) is three businesses in one. It has lunch and daily specials with a huge menu, featuring subs, salads, burgers, pizza, breakfast, desserts and ice cream. They offer something for everyone. Wings are 65 cents daily and come in 4 varieties, mild, hot, BBQ or Garlic & Butter. I'll have to report back because we arrived the breakfast hour for a family get together. The food was great, with large portions. No one went away hungry. Good value for the price. We had amazing quick and friendly service when you consider a table of twelve shows up unannounced. Open 7 days a week, Mon-Sat 7am-8pm, Sun 8am-8pm. Located at 1767 Old Business Route 220, closest to the Bald Eagle exit off I99 (814) 684-1990 for the Chill, (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) and (814) 684-1131 for the Fire House (Pizza & Subs) yay ! I'm a fan.
