rode to the Tippy Canoe from Hickory Wilderness Ranch.. tied up the horses on the provided hitching posts and went in for lunch.. got the blue cheese burger.. was ok.. could have had more blue cheese.. kinda plain.. waitress must have worked there for ever.. she was good... i would go back but maybe try some wings..

Stopped here on a motorcycle ride down PA-62. Fun little place, good food that's a mix of fried and filling. My party had the flat bread pizza (was OK), Buffalo Chicken Hoagie (pretty good), and pirogies (really delicious). All domestics for beer, nothing craft. Overall a good little place with decent food and service.

Only gave it one star because Yelp makes you give a star to give a review. Staff was wonderful. Friendly. Courteous. Salad bar was fresh with all the good things you expect on a salad bar. It was the only thing I got to eat. HOWEVER, if you're going to eat here , do not EVER send back your prime rib if it's over cooked. The owner-cook-owner's boyfriend (I'm not sure of his real title) will come to your table with a raw piece of meat and yell at you for not liking your first piece of prime rib. AND when you say you now do not want anything he's cooking, you'll still get charged for the salad bar.

A picturesque John Candy great outdoors camp style bar/restaurant. You cant miss this place right off of Rt 62 outside of Tidioute. The food is classic PA american bar fare (meat/potatoes, wings, burgers, salad bar, etc). They run daily a special. Saturday is the prime rib for around ~15. The place is first and foremost a bar with a restaurant dining area in the back. The bar is smoking so anyone under 21 is not allowed. The bar manager (owner?) is the long haired older gentleman named Jamie. He is really nice to you if you bring kids (to the back restaurant area) but is known to kick out trouble makers and anyone else he doesn't like from the bar. If you run your mouth in the bar area or criticize the service in anyway expect to be giving a stern warning or your food and drink will be taken away from you and you will be kicked out.

Just ate dinner there on Saturday night. We had finished a 8 day paddle and were retrieving cars from Kinzua down the river. We had gotten a recommendation to go here, so we did. Maybe it was a week of freeze dried food, or maybe it was just good. I had the prime rib, it was well done and delicious. The beer was cold and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Our waitress was very attractive, attentive and prompt. I would recommend to anyone. The atmosphere was quaint and clean. I'd go back.

These are the best wings around. We were in Tidioute for a week and had wings for dinner 3 nights. Very good to say the least. Jamie at the bar is very pleasent. Anyone in the area should check this place out.
