I had the falafel over rice and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! Everything is super fresh and made to order. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Definitely not what I was expecting to find in the food court at the Stroud Mall!

New Middle Eastern in the food court at Stroud Mall. Everything is remarkably fresh and delicous. Had a falafel over salad platter that was incredibly tasty and set me back only $8.00. Everything is homemade...the tahini, the hot sauce....best of all...they hand make the Pita bread and serve it fresh during off peak hours. Unfortunately, its time consuming to do the bread fresh all day and that service would probably create chaos when they are busy (itis an independent restaurant, not a machine like Mc Donald's). Really happy to have a healthy option in the area.

I absolutely love this place. Yes it is in the mall, a silly mall but the food is DELICIOUS!! If you get a Gyro ask for a second pita because it gets messy and the second pita makes it a bit more sturdy to hold and eat without a fork. Everything I order is absolutely wonderful. Seasoned perfectly. Best Gyro I've had in awhile and I am a native New Yorker. Absolutely worth the time to check it out.

My family and I make sure to stop by Gyro King every time we visit the Poconos area. The food is delicious and always fresh. The place always looks clean which is a major plus. The owner and the staff are always friendly. I've tried almost everything on their menu. I love their Falafel sandwiches and Gyro plates but my favorite is the lamb over rice. Even though we eat there, we always order some extra plates to take out. That is how good their food is. My kids love this place. A must visit if you're anywhere near Stroudsburg.

I came to this food court to grab a quick lunch before going to see a movie. My buddy grabbed a chicken and rice tray because he was curious to see how it compared to NYC Halal food. Overall, it's pretty average. The chicken is seasoned okay, but it had a bit too much cumin in it, in my opinion. The hummus was good (you can't really have bad hummus) and the chickpeas were okay as well. But the real tragedy was the fact that it was $9 + change after tax. Meh, it's decent food for a rural PA mall, I guess.

Worst service ever with this kid who has a huge attitude!!! I ordered something that I didn't want in the end and they wouldn't take it back even though I never touched the food !!!! Bad BAD manners . I'm a lady and shame on him for the way he treated me ! God bless him though I know a great church that he can get rid of all that rubbish! Never will I return. And I will continue to tell everyone about his terrible demeanor!

I come here about 3 times a month. The owner and clerks are really friendly and they remember how I like my favorite dish (gyro with red sauce). Go here and you will not be disappointed!

Last time I was in the poconos area with my family we decided to have lunch here because it was the only decent and moderately priced halal restaurant. It was easy to find; located in the food court of the mall. Food was delicious and service was friendly. We also decided to come again the next day for dinner and pack some food for the long ride home. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for halal food in the Poconos area.
