It was bad. Like real bad. I would give it 0 if I could. Service- very bad. I almost didn't want to tip. And having worked in the food industry I always over tip- always- 20% is normal for me to tip. This was so bad though. Didn't refill water once- asked for ketchup cause the fries were so bad- she looked so disgusted with me. I hate ketchup- it's flavored corn syrup- so I avoid it like the plague- but had to do something to get it down. Wings- the sauce was good- wings were deep fried to hell. Burger- I couldn't finish. I asked for medium rare- got well done. Def frozen- even the bacon was bad- how the hell do you make bacon bad?! I'm 250 lbs because of bacon! Lol Beer battered fries- again fried to hell. Beer- here is your one star- $2.00 yuengling- I can def dig that! I read a review from one person- and it was bad- but I decided anyway- a 4 star rating is good. But I was so wrong. To the management/owner- please do not question my judgement on yelp like you did to another patron. I did not ask to get it fixed- cause I really don't think it could have been it was that bad, and I was not about to get into and stress myself or make a scene with a waitress who seemed to care less about me. Anyone who defends that kind of food the way you decided to on yelp is blind to the fact your food is bad. Accept the criticism and GROW- or keep doing what your doing- you seem to make money and it's always busy- so ignore me like I will you from this point on.

Excellent hamburgers and fries and the appetizers are huge.

Great service, great food and pricing. The beer cheese dip with the pretzels is the best I have ever had. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Talegatez was everything I would hope for with a sports bar. Lots of TVs, plenty of Draft beer options, bottles in mini fridges, and good food. I ordered the Sweet Habenero wings which were excellent, and a traditional style pizza which I also enjoyed. Sitting at the bar, the waitress offered samples of various draft beers before I decided on my choice. Atmosphere was upbeat. I'd go back next time I am in Somerset without hesitation. Worth the drive off the turnpike if you are tired of fast food.

Not living in somerset anymore, I was at a loss for finding a decent restaurant. My mom recommended this place to me so I tried it. It was really good! And the atmosphere is nice. I loved the apple flavored cider( I forget the name), and the server/bar tender added cinnamon sugar around the rim. It is delicious! I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and it was very good. I saw a pizza ordered by a couple across the bar, and it looked incredible. I'm stuffed, but my stomach is a bottomless pit, so I may order it also and review it. Keep an eye out! Good pizza in somerset is essential now that the mediocre papa johns is closed.

Beautiful place. Melts and burgers were great. Big screen TVs all around the place which is great for any sports fan. The hostess was semi friendly but the server made up for it and exceeded the demand. The server was friendly and professional. She was attentive to our needs without babysitting us, a huge plus! We tried the pick a dip with nachos for an appetizer and I have to say they were over priced. The asiago artichoke dip was really good but we ran out of chips. To my surprise, our server volunteered to get us more chips at no extra cost so it all worked out. Over all, great place. Kristi is a great server which made it all the better.

Probably the best restaurant I've been to in Somerset. There's not much of a selection around the town, but this place is a great addition. There is a nice bar area with lots of seating. I love that there are TVs everywhere, which is great if you want to watch a game. There isn't a bad seat because you can see TVs from any angle. It's also nice that they have a live band on the weekends. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was very friendly and did a great job! The food was good too! I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries, which I definitely recommend. My family had some of the burgers, which also looked great. The portions are huge, which personally I'm not a huge fan of, but I guess some people like that. I don't like the feeling of thinking you have to eat all of that food at once and I hate eating leftovers. The prices are very reasonable. For example, my wrap was only $8.50. My one complaint is that there weren't too many healthy options on the menu. Overall, this place is a great addition to the Somerset area and I'll definitely be going back!

Food okay. They DO NOT have satellite for non-local games. Looking for football, head elsewhere.

Brand new place. Friendly staff and very good food. Plenty of beer on draft to pick from. Plenty of TVs to view during football season. One of the only good things about Somerset!

Good food and service. I've heard bad things about the place, but I've never had a problem. I've been there 3 times, and got the maple glazed chicken, and it's really good.

Great fried pickles, beer battered french fries, and draft beer selection. Not all the staff was the friendliest, but our waitress was great. Outdoor patio area is covered from sun, but nice and airy. Tons of tvs with the games on.

Stopped in for lunch & Olympic hockey. Both were exceptional! There is not a really bad seat in the place to catch televised sporting events (I counted 15 flat screen televisions within eye shot of where I sat at the bar). I ordered a pizza to give myself the opportunity to provide a better unbiased review since I know what bad & good pizza tastes like! The order arrived quickly and was just right temperature wise. It was lunch hour so I was quite impressed by both of those facts! No frozen pizza here - this is fresh dough - great sauce & primo cheese - definitely NOT the usual tavern pizza around these parts! The bartender was quick on refills & while not the ace conversationalist - he was absolute in his service & attentive to everyone at the bar it seemed. The price was reasonable - menu was varied and a bonus of this place is that it appears it would be family friendly as well! There is also an area where - if ever these Laurel Highlands sees warm weather again - the outer wall consists of garage doors that open to allow an open air dining experience. Nicely done here....hoping this place keeps up with the "A" game they brought to this area!

Driving through town we decided to stay for the night in Somerset. We Yelped places and this received good reviews so ended up trying it. (In the interest of full disclosure, our first choice was closed and this was right down the road from it...score one for default) It was about 8pm or so on a Tuesday night and the parking look seemed busy, always a good sign. We were greeted and lead to a table in the back. Far back. As in, the covered glass greenhouse outside kind of area. The place wasn't that busy except for the bar area and they sat us way in the back in a nearly empty room with tv's but no audio. After our waitress took our drink orders we moved to the main room (also nearly empty but with audio). Much better. Tried their wings, very good. I liked that they were a little crispy and cooked a little more. Also had some fries, decent. One more gripe, when we were finishing up dinner, and by now we were the only ones in our section...approximately 9pm, a server (not ours) started putting up all the chairs on the tables. Seriously, diners are in the room and she literally put the chairs up on every table around us leaving us to sit in the island of "hey were closing so get the hell out of here". It's 9pm!?! I asked our server what is going on she said they stop serving food at 9. Ok fine, I thought, but really, you see us sitting here right? Manager walked by and didn't stop the madness. Lose a star for being boneheads. On the plus side, our waitress was very nice.

We came here for my little sisters first holy communion luncheon. We sat in the back and had a limited ordering menu due to there being so many of us and limited time to eat. I'm not from the area and had never heard of the place. We loved our food. I got the pulled pork sandwich and beer battered fries with Cajun ranch to dip them in. Everything was wonderful. My partner had a buffalo chicken melt with sweet potato fries and balsamic slaw. She loved it. Their salads were huge and looked delicious We had a beer and the bartender was very friendly we will definitely stop back again and very soon!!!
