We try to frequent the smaller "mom and pop" places instead of the commercial restaurants. Yelp always helps me find them! And they nailed it tonight!! This is a darlin' family owned diner with super sweet (and per my daughter..cute) waiters! We were road tripping it back to NY from a long day in DC and wanted a late dinner. We showed up 20min before closing time (2100 hrs). They were more than happy to serve us. We had full meals and dessert! The kids were impressed with the crispness of the onion rings (battered) and fries! The wraps were delicious! My sundae was perfect! Such a cute town, too! Too bad we had to drive through it at night. Highly recommended!

Happened to find this gem of a family restaurant and ordered their southwest wrap and Wow!!! The salsa is amazing here! Asked the server if it's store bought or homemade and she informed me that the owner makes it himself! So no matter what you get, try the salsa with your order.

Shrewsbury isn't known for amazing food but there are a few places that are constantly good. I keep coming back to Mason Dixon. Freshest salads around. The Greek dressing is amazing! I've never been disappointed by the food or the service. Yummy food served but friendly people!

The food has always been consistent and great dinner fair. The remodel compliments the food and service nicely. Nick and Gus are always there making sure everything is running smoothly. We always run into friends and neighbors which is also nice.

Love this local gem. Great food, owners are awesome. Great place for families or just to get a snack. It's a family diner so save room for desert if you can. Ranch dressing is the best in the world and their grilled chicken Greek salad is pretty great too. You can't go wrong stopping here for breakfast either.

Mason Dixon is the perfect family restaurant. My wife, two young boys and I are (at least) weekly customers and love the incredibly friendly owners, staff and other regulars. From steak gorgonzola pasta to shrimp salad clubs to PA Dutch style home cooking to hot dogs for the kids, there's something for everyone. And while every dish isn't for every pallet, I'm always willing to try whatever new items the kitchen comes up with. I'm incredibly grateful this quality family restaurant is just around the corner.

First time diners. Service was excellent and friendly. The dining room was spotless and attractively decorated. The menu covers a variety of dishes from classic American to creative wraps and burgers. The crab dip was served with homemade chips which complemented it perfectly. The Asian burger with Sriracha mayo was delicious. Look forward to returning and trying more dishes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for homemade quality food at a good price. :-)

Diner slash 70s restaurant. Very friendly service and decent prices. Food was clean, well cooked and prepred. While the taste was not excellent it was still very good for the price. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with our baby and making special food just for her. Worth a stop!

My husband and I just finished lunch at this very clean establishment. We were served by a very pleasant Sam/Pam. The lunch was pretty average. I had the steak quesadilla which I'd bump up to a 4. Our waitress was efficient and we received our meal promptly. There are lots of menu choices with inexpensive daily specials. It has an environment conducive to unwinding or enjoying a friendly chat.

My family went here a few weeks ago and they had a waitress with slick back ponytail that was very rude and held up our order for almost 25mins. While other tables got their food. But we went back last weekend and had a different waitress that was very polite,and makes us want to return. We stopped for breakfast which runs about 7.00 a person. It was good with a large variety. The pancakes were big but doughy. We will be back but looking out for the waitress that looks grumpy.

We LOVE going to Mason-Dixon. Their menu has a variety of choices from Mexican, Chinese, Italian, home-style cooking- so much to choose from! We've never had something we didn't like! The staff are outstanding! They are always so friendly and helpful. Everyone is polite and smiles. I reccomend Mason-Dixon anytime!

The average age of the customer in the Mason Dixon restaurant seems to be about 65. These are people that have seen it all and know what they want. Good, honest food in a plain, simple, well-lit, restaurant. Ironically, the median age of the staff is 19. And they do a good, plain, no-nonsense, honest job. I don't mind being the youngest customer in the place, because what they want is also what I want.

Not the best place in town, not the worst. I would agree with the previous review that the average age for customers is about 65 and that's pretty consistent with the population in the area (at least for breakfast customers).
