The only farm to table in Sayre. Excellent variety of lunch sandwiches and other items. I had the chicken pesto with peppers and spinach on focaccia and it was the freshest and most gourmet sandwich I have had in Sayre. Great for sit down or takeout. They feature dinner ONLY ON FRIDAY. The menu looks excellent and well priced. I hope to make a return visit for dinner next!

So I knew I was going to be coming to Sayre soon so I decided to look for a family friendly place to come that had some pretty decent eats. I came across this place and started to read what they offered and said that it didn't look bad. They are a farm to table restaurant, which I respect, and all of the pictures looked great. It was pretty easy to find, and there is a back lot for parking, so you don't have to muddle around with street parking. When you walk in its a really nice atmosphere and a very clean dining room. When you walk in they also have their little store that has all of their homemade products, among other things. We sat down, got our menus and decided too look. First thing we noticed is that there was no children's menu, and that their general selection is very small. I ended up ordering a burger, added cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and an order of fries. I was relieved to see that when I asked for it medium that they cooked it medium. I feel most places ask out of courtesy and tradition, not so much that they will cook it that way. The burger was a great size, and I got a heap of fries. I was disappointed in the onions though. They were barely grilled and mostly raw. So I got them off the burgers because I can't really stand raw onions. Overall the burger was good but I'm not sure I'd call in "The Best Burger in the Triple Cities?" I'm sorry I don't remember what it said exactly, but it was voted on by Tioga Downs. They certainly had good seasoning and know how to cook it. The other meals were pretty much the same. Good, but not out of this world. I can understand why they aren't open that late. Most days being until 3. As soon as we sat down our waitress told us what they had left, and what they didn't have. Overall a decent experience. Not sure how many times I'd visit again. If you're looking for the farm to table meal, with gluten free options, then this is your places.

Summary: Cafe Too Restaurant is a little cafe that also features a gluten-free bakery as well as some local goods for sale like honey. Price: Most of the lunch items such as a burger and fries are about $9. Overall, pretty inexpensive. Taste: As anyone who reads my reviews may already know, I'm a fan of burgers. I got a Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger and I thought it was super delicious. The fries were a little greasy and not quite as crispy as other diner fries, but they were still good. I can't really vouch for the baked goods. Atmosphere: The interior is pretty nice. Wide open with a bunch of cozy wooden tables. It has the feeling of a main street diner mixed with a local bakery. As an aside: Cafe Too has gluten free variations of all of their dishes in the form of gluten free buns. My sister who was dining with me has Celiac (complete intolerance to gluten), and she inquired what may or may not have been gluten free in terms of seasonings, toppings, etc. The waitress stated that "everything" was gluten free, which may have indeed been true, but just be careful as they do have plenty of non-gluten free breads there. If cross contamination is an issue, perhaps sticking to the gluten free specific baked goods cabinet is your best bet. Overall: I can't speak for how well their gluten free baked goods and cuisine is, but the cheeseburger I had was very good. The other diners with me enjoyed the taste of the dishes, and there aren't a lot of places in the area I've truly enjoyed, so I'd recommend checking it out. Again, just be cautious if you have a gluten intolerance.

The food was good. I got a burger that came with chips. I assumed since everything is advertised as fresh and homemade that the chips would be as well. Unfortunately they were not. This was my only issue with the food. The burger was cooked well. It was very juicy. The bun seamed to be steamed, which was nice. The price was a little high, but I can overlook that to an extent for healthier food. Overall I was happy with my first visit. I will be returning and recommending this to friends.

Well it's kinda of hard to write a review on food you haven't tasted but I can't taste it the place isn't open? I will edit my review once I able to. I suggest you rethink your hours. Each time I come I have been turned away. Either appointments or closed too early? I am anxious to try.

So good to have a restaurant that makes not only their soups from scratch but also their bread. It is family run and you feel like family when you are there. I love that they have gluten free options but wish there were more vegetarian options- all those beautiful soups are made with meat stocks. Possibly the best lunch in town. Don't forget to stop at the bakery counter and get some dessert that was hand made on the premises.
