    The main reason I gave this 3 stars was the service. It was extremely slow. I do think the waitress was the only one in the restaurant so I do give some leeway on that, but something as simple as refilling drinks took forever. After receiving the check..she didn't come back...we ended up having to look for her. The food on the other hand wand 4 star. We had a mix of sushi lovers and non sushi lovers and they had something for us all. Once they get sufficient waitstaff I will give it 4 to 5 stars

    My family have now been here about a half a dozen times. Each time we have had hibachi as well as a few sushi rolls. Everything is very fresh and everyone that works here is really nice and always gives my son a lot of attention. I think it was the owners daughter that gave my 3 year old a pick of a toy from a box by the host stand. Nice touch.

    This is my first Yelp review based solely on my impression of the place upon first entering. I would have loved to try the food, but we didn't get to that point. My family and I were excited to try hibachi out and thought we would try this location. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed a gentlemen behind the counter dealing with some checks. We stood there and kept waiting to be acknowledged giving him some time to finish up what he was doing. He continued shuffling papers around even after he had dealt with the checks. A few awkward moments of me trying to give him a chance to acknowledge us goes by and still nothing. I eventually ask him "so what's the situation with dinner?" Needless to say, we walked out about a minute later. He stumbled through trying to tell me there was a wait and didn't seem to speak English. No issues generally with a language barrier, but I really thought this experience warranted a review due to the general lack of a welcoming environment and sheer lack of professionalism on the restaurant. Any semblance of "hosting" skills would be helpful.

    This is a new location for them and I've eaten at their King of Prussia location several times. I stopped in today to grab take out for lunch and the sushi is just as fresh as I've had at their KoP location. I had the California Crunch and the King of Prussia and both were absolutely delicious. The to-go bag was packaged very well and came with shop sticks and soy sauce and plenty of napkins. I called them up around 11am and asked for my order to be ready by 11:45, which it promptly was. I didn't spend much time inside the restaurant, but it seemed OK with fairly basic decorations. They do have hibachi tables here, so I will be back to give that a try one of these days. So happy they opened a location here so now I have one near my office and my home!!

    Very poor service from the kitchen. Under staffed. Slow to be seated. Slow to order. Meals not brought out at the same time. My daughter's meal came out cold 15 minutes after everyone else was served.

    GREAT SUSHI!!! I never really had bad sushi, but this place is by far the best I've ever had. Their Hibachi is awesome too. The chef we had was very funny and entertaining. Very great food all around. I've been here 3 times already and will keep coming back.

    Have been to Kabuki twice now in the last two months! I'm a fan!!! Great experience, great meals, great service! We went on off times: 2:00 for a Saturday lunch, and 5:30 for a Saturday dinner - - - we received wonderful service on both occasions. I was sad to see any negative reviews - because our experience was just lovely. 8 - 10 can sit around the hibachi. If you have less in your party - it should not be a surprise that you may be sitting with others you do not know --- have fun with it - meet someone new!

    We went to Kabuki to do carryout. The restaurant was completely empty so we were the only ones there. While the service was great and the host was pleasant, the food was hit or miss. The Hit-the sushi! The sushi was amazing. The rolls literally melted in my mouth and the flavors were awesome! Absolutely awesome. I wish I has only ordered the sushi. If I ever come back to this area, I would only get sushi from here. The miss-the teriyaki. Omg. There aren't enough words for how lousy the teriyaki was. The tofu teriyaki was covered in this coating that had an oddly gelatinous texture. And the sauce tasted rancid. It was just bad. I took two bites and has to stop. It also smelled like the sauce was rancid too. The sauce wasn't just rancid but it was very very watery. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki too. And OMG. The chicken smelled really bad. It smelled like the chicken had turned too. Chicken really shouldn't smell like that! Vile doesn't quite describe the way that stuff smelled. And my hubby said it was vile. He didn't even eat half of it. It was just gross. The sauce for this dish smelled the same as the tofu....just bad! I'm not commenting on the hibachi area because we didn't do this. I'm hoping that it is better than the carry out experience! The one star is just because the sushi was great. If we hadn't ordered the sushi, this restaurant wouldn't have warranted a one star rating.

    Lots of fun. Nothing beats having tofu flung at you from across the hot grill - and you are supposed to catch it in your mouth. You go mostly for the show - the onion volcano, the knife juggling - but the food is also very tasty and reasonably priced. Fun family night out or girls night out.

    Excellent sushi. Had the Godzilla Roll and an Avocado Roll that were very fresh and tasty. Also tried the Tuna Tower but did not like the sauce the chopped tuna on top of the rolls was tossed in (but truthfully that's my preference, not anything against that particular roll). At the end of our meal the waiter brought us out a complementary dessert of tempura fried bananas which was very tasty and a nice surprise. Not sure what prompted that gesture but it was a nice touch all the same.

    Need to try again. Just re grand opened... Food and hibachi show were both great... even though I don't appreciate sharing tables with guys who keep staring at my fabulous gorgeous hotter-than-the-table wifey. OK, maybe I don't mind ;-). Just stop throwing shrimp at my face, like I'm a seal at SeaWorld. Throw all you want at my stepson!!

    Had the hibatchi filet and lobster. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Not cheap , but worth every penny. Will definitely be returning.

    This place was great. The service is outstanding and the owner came out to make sure everything was great. We even got a free little take away gift. Food was great and the specials were creative and enticing. I went on a Sunday evening with my boyfriend and thought that this place was a good little find.

    This is quickly becoming mine and my family's favorite place to eat. The food is great and plenty of it. But what really makes it a great time is the people everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time

    We had a horrible time at this restaurant last night. We were excited for a nice experience due to the reviews but we must have been at the wrong place. First of all, we walked in to a restaurant that was in serious need of redecoration. Very dated and cheaply decorated. There was no service and we had reservations that were completely ignored. The restaurant was packed and everyone around the hibachi tables that we had no relation to was very upset and were complaining. I had to literally tell them to take our order for dinner after a half hour of no service. We brought saki and wine and never got wine glasses and it took 45 min for a waitress to bring us water. The waitress didn't know what do do with the saki (reminder this is a Japanese hibachi rest....) she brought us cups and I had to tell her it needed to be heated. Some people never got their appetizers and we never got our soups and had to tell them to bring our salad! We threatened to leave but it was Saturday night and we had cancelled reservations other places because of Yelp reviews of this place. The other reviews must be bogus because it was excruciating AND it was EXPENSIVE to boot! They offered us free dessert and I never even got mine! They will be out of business very soon. Do not go here- it completely ruined our evening and I was embarrassed for us because we were entertaining friends....
