I have always had a nice experience here. The food is good and so is the service. It's a pretty typical diner experience. Breakfast is crowded but I've always enjoyed my meal there.

Really great breakfast! Prices are fair, coffee is hot, service is fast and food is reliable. Haven't been there for other meal times but it is standard "comfort food".

So what is a five star restaurant? Your imagination will conjure up images of carefully hand rolled gnocchi by Mark Vetri or some exorbitantly priced sushi dish by Morimoto. Nope. A five star restaurant is one that does what it does better than most. In this case, Quarryville Family Restaurant offers up a host of delicious, home style fare with generous portions at fair prices. I am a big fan of Pennsylvania Dutch chicken pot pie...mind you, this is prepared without crust and really isn't a pie at all. It is actually closer to a casserole. So when I tasted this preparation with homemade egg noodles and lots of tender chicken, I was in heaven. The split pea and ham soup was also one of the best I've ever had. So, if you are jonesin' for basic home style cooking without breaking the bank, and you are sojourning through Quarryville, go dig up some good chow that will stick to your bones without emptying your wallet.

Great place. Great service. Food was fabulous. Pork and dressing was done just right. Porterhouse steak great flavor and huge. sweet potato served with cinnamon and sugar. Did not even have to ask for it. Dessert finished a wonderful dinner. Waitress NC was very attentive. Will be back and it's a hour drive to get here.
