Love this place. Very good food and friendly staff. Best Eggs Benedict I have ever found. We also love pancakes and creamed chipped beef. You should try this place c

Oaks is a wonderful family owned place on 611 North of Doylestown. It has a country feel as you walk in, nice set of counters and comfortable tables. The service is exemplary, and the menu is wide and varied from omelettes, pancakes, french toast, and wonderful biscuits and gravy. Coffee is strong and they fill it up quick. Only challenge is that it gets busy sometimes. Local favorite.

We all agree the blueberry pancakes are great. The wait was about 20 minutes for Saturday brunch. Staff was courteous and responsive. I have always enjoyed coming here in the last 20 years.

Went here this morning for breakfast. It was wonderful. The menu was packed full of terrific selections. I ordered 2 eggs with corned beef hash and home fries. I also ordered a biscuit. These are some of my favorite breakfast foods. The hash and home fries were perfectly crispy and the biscuit was cut in half and toasted. I didn't even ask for that but I loved it. Too bad I don't live nearby because this would be my number one breakfast place.

Today was my first time at the oaks. The service was decent and the food was alright nothing really special. The inside looks outdated like all diners do. The women behind bar were constantly checking their cellphones but it didn't slow down service. The small tables are gross especially if you're tall. The tables had ants crawling over it. The locals seem to love it. However, it isn't my cup of tea!

If you've read my reviews, than you know I love places like this. Small, cozy breakfast/lunch places that are always packed but there is never a long wait. My girl introduced me to this place and I loved it from the first bite! Great menu selections and some of the best sausage gravy and biscuits I've had to date! Great selection of omelets or create your own selections. I tend to be a savory breakfast eater rather than sweet so I can't speak to the pancakes and French toast but I am sure they are just as good as everything else. Very friendly staff, young kids running the place but really good at it! Even if you're not local, it's worth the drive.

We've been eating at the Oaks since 1999 - it was the first place we had breakfast out when we moved here. It's a small, almost tiny, local (local, local) diner style place with counter service, and two small dining rooms. The atmosphere is quaint, decorated with country tchotchkes, a coupla shelves with jewelry and Avon for sale, and muffins and other small goodies by the register. You may just run into your neighbor, folks from the local ambulance crew or township cops or the pastor down the road, with three generations at the next table enjoying pancakes and a omelet bulging with fillings. We come here for the breakfasts - generous portions, varied menu, nice assortment. The Oaks is only open for breakfast and lunch - that can change on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer, but check first. The biggest criticism is that quality is uneven. Usually its great - nice omelets, tasty home fries, good coffee. But occasionally the potatoes are underdone, or a little too crispy, the scrapple too thin. Have to wonder if the cook is just having a bad day, 'cause the next time its just plain tasty. So if the Oaks has disappointed, give it another try. The next meal may just make up for it. This is a local joint for local tastes, and the locals -new and here forever- keep coming.

They make a decent breakfast. Not fan of their lunch food. I think most of their dishes are frozen not homemade. The place is always packed though. Locals love it.

We used to eat here ALL the time in the late '70's, '80's and '90's. Not sure if they are still open - but if they are - they are a great place to get a "family" breakfast. Bring the kids, the grandparents and be prepared for a wait (worth it!) on weekends for pancakes, eggs, bacon - the works. Reasonably priced. An old-school restaurant.

I'll have to come here for breakfast sometime and see if they can redeem themselves. Admittedly, the place is very inexpensive. I'll have to try their breakfast, maybe it will improve my rating. Had dinner here with my other half and the mum in law, who thinks every place is wonderful. This time, even she wasn't happy. We didn't find the staff to be that welcoming. I guess that they didn't recognize us as some of the "local yokels" who seem to dominate the place. But I'll give them another chance. It's really, really hard to mess up breakfast, though!
