This place is fantastic! Perfect location - great atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing. We want to go back and try everything on the menu! The hardest part was deciding what we wanted to eat! Everything was paced out perfectly. All came from the kitchen/bar right on time. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We were there for dinner on a Friday night - so we sat outside on the porch! yes - I said it - outdoor seating!! Adore! Dreamy!

Great food, great atmosphere and great service sum up our experience here. From the Coconut Shrimp Appetizer to the Chicken Louisiana to the amazing 10 oz Burger everything was perfect. We will definitely be back again and recommend it to anyone in the area who enjoys great food in a comfortable nicely decorated environment.

We visit the area several times each year with family. Have eaten at most of the areas restaurants. However, last night 6 of us went to The Forks for my sisters anniversary. Several of us had steaks and the others veal. Very comfortable setting with a country atmosphere. A juke box playing music with one of its regulars playing along with his harmonica. It was great. What a a absolutely delightful experience. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service (Lauren) was attentive and very gracious. Though we have visited the area for a long time this was our first visit to The Forks. This surely won't be our last. Already we are talking about going back. Great job you hidden gem.

The restaurant itself is quaint--tucked away alongside Route 390. The decor is country and the place has a folksy appeal. However, the food is unremarkable and it appears that the bar is the money maker for them. My cheese tortellini with a creamy pesto sauce was good, but nothing I'd go back to again. What was really disappointing was the fact that my wife's stuffed chicken breast with pastry had a bone in it. The dish was tasty, but the bone in the supposed boneless entree left my wife not feeling like eating the rest. The reaction from the manager is best summed up in her own words..."Well, it's a small bone, it happens." No attempt to make it right. Just, "can we put that in a takeout container for you?" We declined.

Favorite casual restautant and great local pub....where everyone meets and shares a pint! Try the chicken specials, all the soups and if you have ever craved the perfect bacon bleu cheeseburger- you have found it!!
