I grew up on Original's pizza - and at 28 years old...I'm still in love with it! Every Christmas Eve we order a sicilian or regluar cheese pie with extra oregano, well done. So. Good! I've recently started ordering their ricotta pizza slices and they are just to die for. Best ricotta pizza I have ever had - way to go, Sal!!

I'm on a diet :( and Originals may be what I miss the most. I still manage to have it now and then, but they easily have the best calzones in the area. Pretty much everything there is fantastic. Be sure to get the garlic knots. Sal and his crew are the best, friendly, quick, and great at what they do.

A family favorite. Great sandwiches and pizza. I would recommend this to anyone who comes through town. I can't go into detail because I think everything they serve is great in it's own way.

If you are in Morrisville, or the near vicinity, and looking for pizza - go here. I am of the opinion that the area between NY and Philly has the best pizza in the country, and Originals is some of the best of that. Their hoagies and pizza are top notch. Sal, the owner, is awesome, and recognizes my entire family on sight. If you are feeling brave, try their Ziti pizza. It's really awesome, but I'd recommend only getting a slice, it's pretty dense. Baked ziti on top of a thick crust pizza, really amazing. I also really enjoy their traditional tomato pie, no cheese, thick crust and sauce, loaded with garlic. Their regular pizzas are great, too. They have all of the usual Italian-American toppings. When I want a sandwich, I usually go for one of their italian hoagies, with oil and vinegar and hot peppers. Go! You won't be disappointed.

The cheesesteak hoagies and chicken cheesesteak hoagies are amazing. The pizza is great too. Far and away my favorite pizza place. I no longer live in Morrisville but Originals is my first stop whenever I'm in town.

Hands down best pizza in the area. Haven't lived here all my life so when I did move here I wanted to find the best place for pizza and boy did I find it here. Not only is the pizza New York style pizza (which is the best kind of pizza), but it was GREAT NY style pizza. Great Philly cheesesteaks, mozzarella sticks, and sandwiches. The people who work there are also very nice and treat you how you would want to be treated.

Five stars?? WTF?!! All the people doing the reviews must be friends and/or employees lol. This place is a solid 2.5 hands down! I'm only giving a three because I don't want to round down. The cheese steaks are okay, just average. The chicken steaks, contrary to popular belief, are NOT a must have. They are also just okay. Their hogies are not that great, I've had better hogies from Wawa! The pizza.... Well, I've lived in this area for 20+ years (and lived from coast to coast) and I can say that this place is MOST DEFINITELY NOT the best in the area. It's almost embarrassing to me that places in the pacific northwest can make better pizza! The sauce was lacking and it lacked flavor; I'm not sure if the cheese was low fat/fat free or just had too little cheese, but the cheese lacked flavor as well. It had a good crust, but that's about the only thing that I can complement on the pizza. I can't think of anything that sets this place apart from any other local pizza place.

My mom just moved to this area so I went out to grab some food while she was moving in. This was a completely reasonable place to get a slice of pizza! The guy who work there are super nice and my pizza was delicious. I highly recommend as a good neighborhood go-to!

Great pizza and italian entrees but what really stands out for me are the cheesesteaks. This no-frills suburban eatery rivals the many vaunted Philadelphia cheesesteak places like Jim's, Steve's, or Ishkabibbles. Notice Pat's/Geno's are nowhere near this list. I've been coming back to Originals for 20+ years. Personal favorites outside the classic cheesesteak include the cheesesteak hoagie (lettuce, tomato, onion) with oil & vinegar (no mayo) and the pizza steak. The fresh ricotta & tomato pizza is another highlight. On the ricotta subject, great cannoli. Filling contains chocolate chips and they're dusted with powdered sugar. Great ending for a great meal.

Been going here since I first moved to PA over twenty years ago. It looks, on the outside, as your average pizza place. But trust me...it's NOT. The cheese is amazing, the sauce is sweet and savory and the crust is...I can't find words to describe it. NY/NJ style pizza. Best of the best. And the guys and gals that work there and run the place and are friendly.

Chicken cheese steak is a must!!! The best around! We like their pizza too, but the chicken cheese steak is what brings us in most often. Mr Matarese and staff do a great job!

This is a great little pizza place that I continued to go to for most of my life. Having lived in the area for many years, when someone tells me they are ordering pizza, it comes from Original's every time. The wide variety of pizza's is great, along with the typical staples such as calzones (highly recommended), Stromboli, etc. I am a huge fan of their cheesesteaks as well, but remember this tip: If you want a cheesestreak, eat it at the restaurant! I don't know about others, but what really makes a cheesesteak is the fresh, slightly crispy bread mixed with the piping hot beef and (in my opinion) onions and mushrooms. If you order a cheesesteak to go, by the time you get it and get home, that bread is going to be soggy, no one likes a soggy cheesesteak. Another good tip is to not forget to order garlic knots. Putting in an order for pizza and no garlic knots is like ordering a burger with no fries.

Best pizza in the area, in my opinion! New York style. Be forewarned: no delivery. Located in Giant Plaza, in the row of shops over to the left as you face the grocery store.

My uncle took me here when I was in Pa. visiting. He's known Tony for forever! It was great pizza and super down home friendly!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
