I've been getting take-out from East China since i was a kid, and attest that it's the best Chinese food in all of Morrisville, Yardley, Fairless Hills, and Levittown. I cannot comment on the buffet, but I'm not a buffayy-kinda-guy.

Went for lunch recently with a group. I'm not really a fan of buffets because I feel like, chinese or otherwise, the food is sitting out and just sub-par. That rang true here. Plus, there wasn't a lot to choose from. Way overboard on the fried apps, and the chicken offered was dripping in sugary sauce. Perhaps take-out is the way to go, but I think the food is way better at nearby Concerto Fusion.

I will never understand how people eat the yellow rice that passes for fried rice in almost all Chinese joints. We had searched for years to find a Chinese restaurant which served the kind of fried rice I had grown up with. Now while I am not a fan of East China's buffet ( it's cold and does not have the variety of larger buffets) their rice more than makes up for it, as does the friendly and familiar service of the sisters who run the restaurant.

This place is disgusting. I really do not believe that the "chicken" in their dishes is chicken. I am not making that up, it was really strange.

this is by far one of the WORST chinese food places i have EVER been too. The Buffet stunk, well what was left of it, the tables were dirty and the food was just out and out BAD...if you value your health and well being, dont go there!

We have been visiting East China since my niece was born 17 years ago. Mostly we get take-out these days. The food is fresh and tasty, and they always add a little present to our order!

I hate places that make you purchase a minimum in order to use your debit card. I am a small person and I can probably only eat $5 worth of food, why do I have to buy a minimum of $10 with my debit card!!!

This is a buffet. The dishes seem to stay mostly the same, which can be good because you know what you're going to get when you go there. They never seem to be very busy, which I like. The girl who seats you appears to be about 10; who knows what kind of child labor laws they're breaking, but the food is good. :D

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
