I was really impressed with Cloud 9. I came here with an out-of-town visitor and wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Prices were reasonable by airport restaurant standards--under $15 each for our entrees, which were the Pittsburgh-style salad with shrimp and the chicken and biscuits. Both arrived at the table quickly and were delicious. Servers were attentive, and the ambiance was great. The owners seem to want to make this a destination for locals as well as for those traveling through the airport, and I think they've accomplished that. The restaurant has a feel that's more upscale than the rest of the airport (which is desperately in need of an update), and if you can get a table near the windows the views are great. The only areas for improvement I'd note: The Bloody Marys my companion and I ordered were a little bland, and for some reason we were not given a brunch menu to order off of even though we arrived before 2:00 on Sunday. I didn't find out there were brunch options until I got home and found the restaurant's Facebook page. These complaints are minor, though, and I will definitely be back in the future!

The last two times I've been here have been bad. Both times the servers have been bad at their jobs and rude. Not getting what we asked for, and appetizers coming out after our main course was finished.

My husband and I visit here for lunch and we always experience friendly staff and quick service. Food is good and has nothing fancy, at least for the lunch menu with decent prices.

I have been to many restaurants based at small airports and this one is at the top of this list for quality, the view and the service. The restaurant is on the second floor providing an excellent view of the runway and the mountains. It is beautifully decorated, I loved the music playing in the background and the service was amazing. The cook even came out to see how we were enjoying our meal. My husband had the duck and could not stop raving about it, I had the chicken and biscuits from their "home cooking" menu that was delish. I only wish we had time to try dessert.

So, to start this out, this was a group outing of friends from out of town flying to the airport and so this restaurant was convenient. In my opinion, that's about all that was good about it. There were ten in our party and we were seated quickly, no problem there. The waitress, who also serves as hostess, was good about getting our drink orders. We requested separate checks depending on who was in what party and she complied with this request. Now for our orders, everyone ordered something different - I don't know if this was the problem or what, but we placed our orders at 11:30 and we were served at 12:40. the restaurant was not that crowded so being busy doesn't seem to be an excuse for taking that long to get food. Some of the food looked good and I didn't go around the table asking how everyone's food was so I will concentrate on my own food and my partner's. My partner ordered buttermilk pancakes - that's it, nothing else. He said they were okay, but then he thinks everything is okay. For me, I ordered my favorite sandwich - a classic Monte Cristo. Now a Monte Cristo sandwich is ham, turkey and Swiss cheese on bread, dipped in egg batter and fried like French toast, served with confectioner's sugar on top, and jelly or jam to use in lieu of syrup. I must say, I did check the menu and the menu read "classic Monte Cristo sandwich"; however there was no mention of turkey and there was no turkey on my sandwich. The sandwich was barely warm, the only confectioner's sugar I saw was on the crust of one slice of bread - how it got in that location and nowhere else is beyond me. No jelly or jam was offered. The ham was three slices of the thinnest ham I have ever run across. My sandwich was served with home fried potatoes - now remember that they have had over an hour to prepare this food. My potatoes were barely warm and for the most part, the slices were undercooked (raw)! Prices were not bad. However, I cannot say the same for the coffee. It was on the bitter side and we had to ask several times for refills because we didn't have any food to eat, so we filled the emptiness with coffee. One of the people in the group ordered garlic bread because they said it was the best garlic bread they had ever had. If this is the best a restaurant can do - garlic bread - I think next time I'll stick to the coffee (or juice) and eat elsewhere. Oh, yes, and the napkins were paper. And there was no mention whatsoever about the sticky bun brunch that is supposed to be offered on Saturday and Sunday. I would go again only if I were meeting friends flying in. Denny's does better than this - I can watch the planes from the parking lot.

The Daniele Family, also owner of Franco's Restaurant and Lounge in downtown Williamsport, PA have done a superb job with the Cloud 9 at the Williamsport regional airport. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is bright and cheery with great views, and you'll love the bar. The food is exceptional and no one can beat Francis' homemade breads, rolls and desserts.

Beautiful view. Clean and modern interior - beautiful colors. I had Tips and Torts, ok, a little bland, husband had Wiener Schnitzel, different & tasty. Martini's were good, but overpriced.
