I like S 'n S. Fast , good food and fair prices. I like the Patty Melt, most places don't have that anymore. About the only complaint is that the servers sometimes hover, I will tell you if there is an issue or I need something. But it is a good place to eat and at the mall , it's one of the better options. PS, that Rachelle comment is moronic. I've eaten there many times and I have NEVER seen or heard anything even remotely like she describes. That's just not right to have that on here.

I went to this place with my family. We waited to be seated for over 20 minutes. I understand they were busy but all of the staff made eye contact with us and no one bothered to say anything to us. No one said we will be right with you or sorry about the wait..... NOTHING! So disappointing since it was our first time there and we were excited to try the food.

Horrible. This is the only word I can think of to describe this Steak 'n Shake. I used to come to this location a lot when it first opened a few years ago. I loved it. Great food and great service. However, over the past 3 years this place has gone downhill in the worst way possible. I decided to give them one last try today because my wife was having "pregnancy cravings ". I got a cheesy cheddar burger. I get home to find that there is barely any cheese on the burger. How can you call something "cheesy" when there is barely any cheese on it? My wife's cheese burger had unmelted cheese on it. And to add insult to injury, are food was ice cold (we live 5-10 minutes from the store). Our milkshakes were ok and that is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. I will no longer go to this Steak 'n Shake and I'm making sure everyone I know hears my horror stories from this location. Which is a shame because i used to go to other locations around pittsburgh and was really excited to hear that there was one come to beaver county.

This was just ok. The apple harvest chicken salad was very good, but the raspberry vingerette dressing can be overpowering. Use it sparingly and add as you need it otherwise it will collect in the bottom of the bowl and overwhelm the last of the salad. Some of the chicken was gristly. One of the burgers was pretty pathetic and the kid's mac and cheese was so small we had to order another one for our 4 y.o. Service was okay but I would liked a refill of my ice tea (which was pretty weak). Pass this one by, there are better places to eat in the area.

I love Steak N Shakes Shooters, Dogs, & Shakes! What I don't love are the mistakes and stupid policies. Allow me to explain, mistakes I understand, to a point, but when I'm the only person in the drive thru and I get 3 shooters w/fries only to get home without fries, not once, not twice, but three times in the last month... I get bummed... My policy issue is with Red Bull, if I want a Red Bull, a Manager needs to unlock the case with a key. When asked why, I was told; due to employee theft. That might work during the day when you have more than one manager on at a time, but a 2am when the manager is on the shitter... well, I waited 15 minutes with my food before I went inside, from the drive thru, and asked for my money back. The worst part of the policy is that management is too lazy to catch the thieves... There is a camera mounted by the Red Bull case, wanna know who's stealing? Review the film! Don't punish your customers!

Note #1: This Steak 'n Shake is open 24 hours. Note #2: They have breakfast from 6AM to 11AM. That's new. Yeah, how about that? I didn't know any of them were open perpetually until Kay and I found our stomachs growling after a late showing of the new Captain America flick at the Monaca Cinemark. It's a little out of the way. As luck would have it, the barroom rowdies were chowing down at Eat 'n Park. I remember going to the one in Pleasant Hills about 7 years ago and not being that impressed. Here in 'Naca in '11, things are improved. I almost ordered one of their "Signature Steak Franks" (what Kay ordered) but instead decided to test them on those burgers one more time, one I customized with American cheese, bacon, guacamole, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I'll be damned, it was an accomplished double-decker beef cookie, each patty cooked French style and expertly done at that; crispness and char without sacrificing moisture. The guac was fresher than Eddie Haskell with your kid sister. This was akin to a Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe burger times 2. Also reminscent of BHDS were the defectless shoestring french fries, the only difference being that S 'n S's fries are completely peeled. Their skinny, sizzling, brittle, lightly salted little jackets gave way to my teeth, exposing their cottony insides. I was a cannibal, devouring post-modern urban youth... No, no, c'mon. I kid the new bohemians. There ain't many out this way anyhow. S 'n S is a throwback not only in terms of the 50's decor and staff uniforms but also due to a fantastic thirst-quencher called a Cherry Limeade that they apparently make to order. If and when you come here, pass on the usual soft drinks and try one of these. It will wash down your meal sweetly, effervescently, and not without a mildly acerbic peck on the lips. We each ordered a milkshake for dessert. I found my Double Chocolate Fudge to be somewhat anticlimactic. Are they really hand-dipped? It was serviceable but lacked the full-bodied consistency I prefer in my milkshakes. As it stands, it was a really good glass of Quik with some chocolate chips and whipped cream added to dress it up for the eyes. If they start serving breakfast all-night, they'll do gangbusters and have to hire more people, including a bouncer, perhaps. Man, is it a skeleton crew they have here. Eh, maybe we'll keep this place a secret. Ok? P.S. Our server Natasha K. was on the button. Hails to her.
