Outstanding. There aren't many high class restaurants near Grove City. Don't let the interior (or exterior) fool you--when it comes to their food, Iron Bridge BRINGS IT. We had a party of 14, which they had said they weren't able to handle and then BOOM. They had a 14-top for us! Excellent and timely service by our splendid waitress Amy, fast food and excellent quality. We got a bit of EVERYTHING from the menu, and all of it, from the rack of lamb to the surf and turf to the tuna Szechuan salad to the lobster Mac n cheese was splendid. Their peanut butter pie is Mmmmm-mmmm scrumptious! Treat yourself, and your wallet, to a meal (or 5) here. You'll walk away hungering for more.

Enjoying a shared lunch after some shopping. Well worth the few extra minutes out of the way! Reuben and steak sandwich special were both fantastic. Friendly and attentive service.

We have visited the Iron Bridge Inn on 2 occasions now and both times were weekdays during the afternoon slow late lunch time frame. A time where most restaurants would slack up a bit, employees disappear and cooks become lax. No such thing at this establishment. You are warmly greeted, attended to with seating and menus promptly, orders taken and attentiveness to detail given by all. The gal who bartends has a great working knowledge of the menu and precisely how things are prepared. She answered any and all questions we had. The smoked on premises meats are wonderful in flavor & texture. Namely the smoked prime rib and wings. We will return soon to the Iron Bridge soon as on both our visits we were equally satisfied and found they could improve on nothing. The menu is balanced and reasonably priced. The service outstanding! Atmosphere and ambiance is cozy , warm and "rustic country" .And food quality is deserving of 5 stars. Even the sauces 2 bbq - one spicey the other regular along with a custom mustard blend were phenomenal and we understood they were made on premises.. You will not be disapointed should you make a trip to the Iron Bridge!

My husband and I went here back on Valentine's day of 2014. The wait was crazy, so I figured that would be a good sign. Long waits with no one leaving usually means the wait is worth it. When we sat down the seats were clean and the table was freshly wiped down. I didn't pay a visit to the restroom so I couldn't tell you if they were clean. The food wasn't really my thing. I'm completely okay with that. The menu wasn't really my style and the types of food they offered were not something I would normally eat. They seem very well liked and they are constantly busy. I personally like the food down the street at Rachel's Roadhouse more. However, my husband loved the food he had, so there's that. The server's were great and the management was very nice. We'll likely give this one another shot and maybe I'll be able to update my review.

I've been here many times but this was my first time with the new menu. The food has been delicious on every visit but the meal I got today will be my all time favorite. I got the Cajun turkey melt and it was so flavorful and filling. I wouldn't change a single ingredient. The rest of our guests all had equally satisfying meals including the venison burger, lobster pizza, haystack chicken, and a steak. I will definitely be back very soon.

Great food, busy as heck. I like it a little less crowded.

My friend and I met his parents and his sister and brother in law for a late lunch here yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. There was about a 20 minute wait when my friend and I arrived so we took two seats at the bar to await the arrival of everyone else. They had a really nice craft draft list. I chose Goose Island Rambler IPA and he chose Yuengling. After about 15 minutes his parents showed up and our table was ready so we were sat in a large booth in the back. The decor of the place is very rustic-lots of stuffed animals-polar bears, wolves, turkeys, elk, etc. It's made basically to look like an old time wilderness fort. They did a good job with it. We ordered another round and some apps while we were still waiting on the rest of our party. We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms-6 large mushrooms stuffed with a crab mixture topped with cheddar and monterrey jack cheeses melted. These were pretty good-nothing spectacular. We also ordered a dozen wings. They come cherry and hickory smoked with no sauce. Sauces are served in a carrying case on the side. These wings didn't need any sauce-the flavor from the cherry/hickory smoker was phenomenal! They were some of the best wings I've had in a long time. Here is where service came in-it was terrible, downright rude at times. yes the last two people in our party were very late-we waited about an hour at the table for them. At one point our server asked us if they were still coming. When we replied yes, he rolled his eyes and said, "well it's been awhile." and we never saw him back at the table until the remainder of our party showed. We all had empty drinks at that point. We wanted to order before the last two arrived and we had to flag down a different server to order entrees. Once our server brought our entrees, we never saw him until he dropped off the check. Not one word asking about how our food was. Now I thought maybe we were the table keeping him there, however, I saw him go wait on other tables as we were walking out the door so evidently, this "server" was just rude to us for whatever reason. Back to the food....My friend and his dad both had the prime rib dip (shaved prime rib, forest blend mushrooms, provelone cheese and au jus). His mom had the pulled bbq pork sandwich. I had a half sandwich (the turkey club melt) with a cup of french onion soup. The soup was pipping hot and wasn't overly cheesy-it was tasty. The half sandwich was the perfect size after sharing those apps. It was hand carved turkey, cheddar cheese melted with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a jalepeno mayo on wheat jalepeno bread. The bread was very unique-not overly spicy at all and really kicked the club up a notch. I would come back here again and try their BBQ which they are well known for. Only other drawback is it's about an hour away from Pittsburgh but good if you're up in the Grove City area already looking for a bite to eat.

Always top notch. My wife and I always stop when passing through. Just wish they would bring back the coconut shrimp! Pretzels are a must as an appetizer!

I have been going to the Iron Bridge Inn for years and have never been disappointed. Last visit I had orange roughy with asparagus. They serve fresh rolls and made on the site dressing for your salads. Most items are ala carte but the food is well cooked. My fish was tender and in a delicious sauce. It is a good place to get away for a homecooked meal when you want to avoid the outlets nearby or get off campus from a local college. The décor is rustic with a lot of taxidermy animals. Beverages are served in jars. I will be back more to dine here. I was also happy to find free Wi-Fi when I dine.

My daughter and I took a trip to Grove City Outlets recently and, on the advice of a friend, stopped at Iron Bridge Inn for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! We both loved their Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, rolls and salad, as well as the nice decor and wonderful service! We will be back!

Staff was very friendly, and the food was great!! It had such a down-to-earth feel to the place and the food matched the atmosphere. Though I am not typically a fan of stuffed animals (and they had a lot!), I would still come back here and definitely tell all of my friends. Plus the place was packed, which shows that I am not the only one who loves the food!!

Wow! This place was rockin ' on a Saturday afternoon, and I know why! The service was just fantastic, a great bar with a couple of real Bartenders working it. The food is absolutely delicious. I split the deep fried lobster appetizer with Rosie, which was real good. A mixed grill was my entree which included 3 lamb chops, some scallops and a small sirloin steak with rice pilaf . Rosie had a black garlic steak which was also delicious. We took a couple of desserts back to the RV and they were very good also. I will go back here!

I've been to the Iron Bridge quite a few times now. Food is pretty good here, considering it's out in the middle of nowhere. Haven't really had a bad meal yet. The burgers however, are somewhat flavorless and bland. However, many of the entrees, and specials may not seem that exciting, but most are executed quite well. If you're in the Mercer/Grove City area, this is one of the best choices in the area for food.

We stopped here for an early dinner on our way to New Jersey. Delicious! As soon as you walk in the door, you can smell the BBQ. Ribs are tender, lean and delicious. Large portions, I have a left over box with me now! Staff are helpful and friendly. A nice place to go instead of a chain restaurant. Warm, homey atmosphere with large fireplace giving off a nice ambiance.

Great friendly service and really good food for the area. The spinach dip was a highlight! The salads and sweet potatoes with honey butter (made in house) are all very good. A few at my table got the Prime Rib and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Sirloin which I normally love, but here it is cooked on the coal grill, so it has that charcoal taste (which I am not a fan of). However, I would easily go here again and order something different.

My wife and I wanted to try something new for our wedding anniversary. I have to admit their food was good, my prime rib was cooked to perfection, more than enough food for me to eat (had to take some home). My wife had the "junk burger" which there was a lot of stuff on it, from mushrooms, onions, three cheeses, the worked. It was okay, however, the onions were up to what they advertised. Good atmosphere, great service and the place was busy, even though it was mid-week. All-in-all a great experience, but I liked it better at Hickory Grille. Just something felt, and could not put my finger on it, but will only come if I'm in the area again and won't go out of my way.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon with 7 people. Surprised to see the parking lot full at 3:00 but the wait was only 30 minutes. Ordered three appetizers, fried zucchini, stuffed mushrooms and cowboy dip. All three were excellent. Everyone at the table ordered something different and the quality of the food was outstanding and the the portions large. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our waiter was there to ensure no drinks were empty and that we were satisfied. I would recomment that anyone in the area stop on by, you will not be dissappointed.

Just when I thought the Sunday brunch couldn't get any better, they add their prime rib to the menu. This brunch is so worth it, that we drive an hour each way to enjoy it. Their brunch has a variety of eggs, bacon, waffles, potatoes, chicken, pasta, shrimp, and so much more. But save room or unbutton your pants because the desserts are the best I have had. The coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie are heaven in my mouth.

We've eaten here a number of times and it never ceases to amaze us just how good this place is. It's located on US Rt 19 and not really near any major city. The menu is varied and the quality and presentation of the food is great. They always have specials and the specials we've had are very good. The waitstaff is attentive and well trained. If you're in the area try it, it's an old style road house with contemporary menu items. Last Sunday we noticed that there's a new bridge being built beside the restaurant's namesake; hope they don't tear the old one out!

This is my favorite of the three Springfield restaurants (Rachel's and The Springfield Grille being the other two). It has a casual, fun atmosphere, interesting decor and pretty tasty dishes (the burgers!!). There's usually something interesting on the specials for the evening. If anything you'll get overwhelmed by the number of choices on the menu for appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks! It can get very busy on the weekends and peak dining hours and since they do not take reservations, make sure you have the time to wait or pick an odd time!

I've been here twice now, both on Saturday nights. The first time we went around 830 and had a 40 minute wait and the second around 930 and got seated at a bar table right away. This month they had a Hot Apple Pie Cider that was really good while waiting for a table. I ordered the sirloin and crab cake the first time and really enjoyed it and my mom had the chicken cacciatore special which was even better. Both of us loved our salads with homemade dressings. The next time i went I had fish and chips which were good and my friend had a chicken emma dish she loved. They have a great list of rotating specials and I will definitely be back.

My wife and I loved the food and the atmosphere. When we first arrived, the restaurant was crowded and the service was a little slow with our drinks, but after that they were extremely attentive and friendly. The portions are tremendous... So if you are on the road, you might want to avoid an appetizer (you will regret it when you have to leave a lot behind). It is a couple of miles from I-80, but definitely worth the slight detour.

Great place for a steak. You're usually going to wait a bit for a table but it has always been worth it for me. I've been coming here since 1983 and I've never had a bad meal. Pretty good craft beer list too. Get steaks or BBQ and you can't go wrong.

The food and the service here has always been top-notch, and even though I hadn't been here in about 8 years, it was still thus. On my most recent trip, I enjoyed the "Junk" burger, and the GF had the "stacked" Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was so big we took more than half of it home (and though the GF often can't finish entrees, even I would have had a hard time finishing it!)! Overall Iron Bridge is a reasonably priced, homey establishment that delivers good to great food in a comfortable (though a little contrived, decor-wise) environment. Highly recommended.

This is the second Springfield Group restaurant we've eaten at (Log Cabin and here) and we've yet to be disappointed (in fact, we plan to eat at two more today!). We drove past Rachel's (which was PACKED at 7:30 on a Monday night) to get here and were relieved to see the parking lot a little less full (though certainly still full). We were seated immediately and one of the first things I noticed is the space plan. They make great use of their space, leaving adequate room for easy movement about the space, as well as providing diner privacy. Our server was outstanding, as we've found w/every Springfield Group employee we've come in contact with. You get the feeling they're treated well and like their jobs, so, in turn, they take pride in and do their job well. We had a coupon for a free appetizer from our hotel and went w/the Cowboy Dip. Wow. Wow. The dip is served in a little cast iron skillet w/delectable bread triangles that are perfectly soft/doughy, yet also have a slight crisp. The dip is shredded beef, jalaps, and cheeses and is a great something a little bit different appetizer. The beer selection is a bit lacking for hopheads, but they do have an entire page of micros/crafts, so props for that! Our meals (Cajun Blue Pork Chop special w/potato cakes for my husband and the Firecracker Ahi Tuna w/a side of Lobster Mac for me) were fantastic. We both ate until we were uncomfortably full and wanted to keep eating. We each drank 2 beers and had the above meals and our bill was $77 and worth every penny. We're looking forward to trying two more Springfield Group restaurants today...

Through a mistake and a GPS route we found this place! We were initially going to Tanger Outlets in Washington, PA to visit the Columbia Outlet Store and have dinner at Ditka's Steakhouse (see my review of that place!). I accidentally looked up the Columbia store in Grove City, PA and did not know this until we arrived at the Outlet complex and things just didn't look the same as before. I used my phone to see how far the other restaurant was and saw we were an hour or so off course! We saw the Iron Bridge Inn on the way to the outlets because that is how the GPS sent us (still thinking we were going to a different shopping complex), still thinking none the route it sent us looked familiar, but last time it was night time, so we though nothing of it. We figured we would stay at this outlet complex and do our shopping here, so I canceled my reservations, and called the Iron Bridge Inn to inquire. The phone was answered before the 3rd ring and the woman on the line was very polite and advised us that we did not need a reservation, and if there would be a wait, it might only be 10 minutes at the most. Later in the evening around 8pm, we made our way back to the Iron Bridge Inn to find a nice bountiful brightly lit parking lot. We were warmly greeted when we entered and did not have to wait for a table. The charm and atmosphere was immediate! You cannot replicate the feel of this place, it is warm, cozy, and inviting! We were promptly greeted by our waitress and informed of the specials along with taking our drink order. They have a very diverse menu including, seafood, burgers, steaks, pasta etc. I got the New England Scallop Bake (I believe that was the name), with green beans on the side with a dinner salad. We initially started off the the IBI homemade potato chips with a homemade garlic dip. It was fantastic! I could eat it all night long! The dinner salad was a generous portion, without being too much before the entree. The salads also came with rolls and two type of butter, one regular, and the other being a very yummy cinnamon butter. My dinner was fantastic, scallops were great with a nice crumb topping on it, served in a real cast iron skillet ( a small one, not a stove top one). I followed my dinner up with desert... Now, I am mad, because I cannot remember what the name was, but it was a Pecan pie, with chocolate chips on the bottom above the crust... absolute heaven! All in all, it was a great meal, great atmosphere, and happy I made the mistake with the GPS unit. We are definite fans of this place and can't wait to make the trip again from Northeast Ohio!

While visiting Grove City, we wanted to go out for dinner and got a recommendation from the hotel staff to try this local restaurant. The restaurant has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. The menu is very extensive with choices to please everyone. The portions are large, but do not lack in taste, and are very reasonably priced. The peanut butter pie ($0.79/piece Anniversary special) was great! Our waitress (Jessica) was very polite and very attentive, she was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended! Will be returning

Terrible service. Have no idea about food. Could barely get a menu. The waitress would not even take our order. Left money on table for drinks. She would not even give us total for drinks. She saw us getting up to leave and she did not say a word. These people do not care a bit about you.

Iron Bridge has been around for at least 20 years (well, that's how long I've been going there) and it is a great place for dinner. It is a local favorite, but could do well anywhere. The wait can be annoying (but expect it if you are going on a weekend evening). The food is well worth it though - anything blackened on the menu (steaks, fish, burgers, Louisiana chicken sandwich) has always been great. Interior has nice atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices.

I've only eaten here once (for lunch) and it was alright. I ordered the Mushroom and Dijon Mustard Chicken with a cup of Ham and Potato Chowder. The chowder was very good, with a nice depth of ham and spice flavors on the tongue. The chicken dish had good flavor with a honey mustard sauce. However, the chicken breast looked like a frozen filet from a food service, and I really doubt that the mushrooms were fresh sauteed. More likely out of a can sauteed. But it all tasted pretty good because of the sauce. And I can't even remember what side I had so that speaks for itself. My co-worker had a salad and sandwich but I'm not way so I have no idea what it was or how he enjoyed it. I can just say mine was pretty good, just not fresh chicken or mushrooms. And we never got our supposedly fresh bread. The atmosphere? Not as dank as the Log Cabin, but Robert Irvine would still have a field day. I'll go back with Wife next time and try the Prime Rib. Update - went back for the Prime Rib. It's as good as everybody else says it is!!!

BBQ and main entrees underwhelming for price, service tends to cater towards prioritizing the local regulars first. Will say that they have some of the burgers I have had anywhere and the price is very reasonable for the mid menu items, plus the sweet potatoes are amazing.

We've been coming here since the 80's! Never a bad meal. On a recent trip we learned that the brunch doesn't change out like it used to. That was disappointing, we always enjoyed the variety. They had a few outstanding items, but most was just standard brunch fare. Still well done, and the service has always been good.

After a hike at McConnell's Mill, my bf took me here for dinner. We arrived around 5:30 and the place was packed. We took a pager and was told there would be about a 45 minute wait. That was okay, because we were able to nab seats at the bar at catch some of the Pitt/ND game. This place is very rustic and very homey. I'm not so sure what to think of all the taxidermy on display. But it sure didn't affect my appetite! We got a table in the dining room, very romantic because we could snuggle up on the corner of the table. Specials for the night included prime rib and pasta dishes. We wanted to try the Jalapeño Perogi appetizer, but unfortunately they ran out! Jim had the 10 oz prime rib and I ordered Sun Valley ravioli with sauteed shrimp. Our dinner salads was fresh and delicious. Plus, they serve Mancini bread which is awesome. We had to pass on dessert, because we wanted to catch a movie. I love all the Springfield Group restaurants. The food and service are both always great!

Met my husband there form an impromptu dinner. He arrived early and sat at the bar after first letting the host know we wanted a booth. When I arrived the host offered to seat us right away as they were filling up. Nice! Elyse was our server - and she was wonderful. She was candid about the specials leading us to make the right choices for our meal - including the suggestion to butterfly a steak. We got all the little sides we asked for immediately - fresh horseradish, extra sour cream, and my 2nd glass of wine was right there to enjoy with my meal. Steaks/filet were done perfectly and had great flavor. The blue cheese dressing was amazing and I brought home a pint for only $5!!! We've been going to the Iron Bridge for years and have never been disappointed. Not only did we tip well as everyone should for great service (I know it takes extra time and organization to make a meal turn out right) , but I made it a point to let the host know. It was refreshing to see him write down her name and to tell me that they take care of their servers who do a good job. In this world of always being corrected at the work place, it's nice to see a place who value their staff.

Went here for dinner tonight and our food was fantastic......best meal I had since i was at the beach months ago. I got the chef's special - grouper with lobster meat.....absolutly perfect. We were here one other time and found it by accident...... made a point to come back tonight since we were in the area. Def worth the wait (it was packed - which is a good thing) will be back again soon..............also the hot spiced rum cider was a perfect addition to an awesome dinner. The cider is a MUST TRY!

I'd go 2 1/2 stars, but since others here have gone overboard with 4 or 5, I'll not give it 3 stars. Not bad. Not good. Good prices and nice people. It's a local joint with bar food, but they've rearranged the menu to offer some twists. Look, whenever you get meatloaf, pot stickers and pasta on the same menu, you know what you're in for. This is food that any American would be happy to eat. If you haven't been, go. In a pinch, I'd go back.

We were driving through on our way home to Ohio. First tried Rachel's Roadhouse because of all the great reviews but it was 30 min wait! We decided to give Iron Bridge a chance and I'm so glad we did. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with our choices. Food was pretty good and satisfied us nicely. I had the scallops with vegetable risotto and BF had spaghetti and meatballs. Great selections. Very clean bathrooms and overall a pleasant experience!

We went here for my birthday dinner on a saturday so we didn't really mind the hour plus wait. But if you weren't expecting the wait, it might be disappointing for you to wait that long. When we were finally seated, we were beside the fireplace which was very nice and warm! We ordered the cowboy dip as an appetizer and it was amazing!! In my opinion, best part of the meal. My boyfriend ordered a Cajun Trio Special and he enjoyed it. He said the pork chop was even better than the filet (because a filet doesn't need much as far as seasoning) I had originally ordered a special but they ran out of pieorgies so I had to reorder. When my strip steak and mashed potatoes came out, the gravy was not homemade and I'm undecided if the potatoes were. The steak lacked any seasoning but was still ok. I was a little bummed I waited so long to be seated for a meal I could have made at home but the cajun special was worth it. My boyfriend also got the caramel apple cheesecake and like that too

Went for Sunday Brunch. Desserts looked good, which drew me in, although the brunch fare was only average. The "eggs benedict" were interesting, as they appeared to have been done by someone who'd heard of them but never saw a recipe. Great and friendly service, though.

Well, I hate to say it because this is a local favorite (since there really isn't much locally in this area..except the outlets, and the Amish, of course..!) but Easter brunch buffet here was nothing special. It's an especially daunting task for a vegetarian to eat anything of substance in Western PA, so I can't really expect much. Still, even the meat-eaters complained that their prime rib was tough, and although most of the dishes looked homemade, they were mediocre at best. Even the desserts were a disappointment. On the plus side, most of the dishes we've ever had here have always been decent, so maybe today was just an off day. It's still well worth a visit if you happen to be in this neck of the woods. Bear in mind that I have become a jaded New Yorker, after all.

What a dissapointment. We try to eat here every year when we are in W. PA. Where to begin?? The onion soup had good broth but it ends there. Instead of a hearty crusty piece of bread top by melted cheese this dish contained soggy croutons floating (sinking??) in the broth, the cheese was unmanegable and the onions had not be properly caramelized . All of us ordered a pasta entree.. All of the pasta was gummy, the sauces lacked proper seasoning (even salt) and it was apparent that the plates had sat under the hot light to long prior to service as the edges were dryed out. Service was sketchy at best....only one drink ( the soada) refilled even though the water glasses for the other were sitting over half empty. Bar?? They have a bar?? Wouldn't know if by the server who never attempted to "sell" us anything. I will admit thatover the years the Springfield Grille has been my favorite and I hope that our trip there will live up to my expectations of a nice meal. Otherwise the Iron Bridge Inn has become a sad shell of it former self.

Great place to grab a bite if your traveling across PA on I-80. It's a few miles off the exit but worth the short jog unless your in a hurry and a chain burger will do. It's filled with stuffed animals (that's kinda freaky for a restaurant) in my opinion but looking around most of the clients eating here may have provided the mounted game for the decor. There are also some older advertisement. I had a unsweetened ice tea and a prime rib dip with an order of house cut fries. I must admit it was pretty good the au jus could of been prepackaged.

My family and I have been going to the Iron Bridge Inn since I was young. All of the Springfield Group restaurants are wonderful and any time I am back in the area visiting family, its tradition to have at least a few meals at some assortment of the family of restaurants. Last night, we made our way back to the Iron Bridge Inn and it was not surprisingly another wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles (and hugs too) as we saw some familiar faces of management and staff that we've come to know through the years. Our personal favorite is Julie Crawford and we were delighted to see her last night. Although we had a fantastic server already - Julie stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. She is a delight! I had not had the Iron Bridge bbq before and our entire family ordered off the bbq menu. It was fantastic! My father and I each had a 1/2 rack of ribs and my husband had a combo plate of pulled pork and ribs. Everything was smoked to perfection and we enjoyed every last bite. The sides and cornbread were out of this world as well and their homemade bbq sauces were the cherry on top-- so yummy! Thank you for another wonderful experience Iron Bridge Inn and Springfield Group. We were sorry to see the Springfield Grille close their doors but are very excited with future business ventures you pursue and wish you the best. We'll be back again soon!

Great experience for our 1st time! We walked in without reservations and were advised of a 25 minute wait so we put our name down and grabbed a seat at the bar. That is where we met Jonathan. He suggested a great IPA for my husband and then mixed me up a strong berry martini- it was tasty!! We then took his recommendations on what to have for dinner so we canceled our table and ended up eating at the bar. I had the bbq combo plate that had both chicken and pork with a jalipeno creamed corn that was fabulous! The porition was HUGE! It was enough food for 2 people! The cornbread was good too! We will be back for sure the next time we are down in Grove City!

I've gone here for years - when I was up near Mercer. Not often but it's a landmark. I went in for lunch with my Mom and Aunt. Had a really nice lunch, the atmosphere is awesome. Beautiful wood with classic styling. I felt like I was in an old tavern in Ireland. I had the Reuben, a beer, and some fries. Someone else had the fish and chips. Nice tender pieces of fish crispy breading and great fries. The Sandwiches here are delicious. Definitely a winner going here anytime. It gets a good bit busier at Dinner time.

Came here while passing through on a road trip. We were quickly seated, received fast services, and each order came with SO much food at decent prices- all pros. Solid 3.5 stars. Our table ordered a few dishes including some burgers (tasty) with fries (a little soggy), the rib rack , and - my dish - the pulled prime rib. The meat was good but not hot, which always takes away from the meal for me. The side of greens I got were slightly spicy and very tasty. The highlight for me: the sweet potato! It was a big as my face (it probably could have made the filling for at least half of a pie), and it was hot! And the cinnamon sugar butter - to die for. I couldn't even come close to finishing my plate. Our server was friendly. I wished she would have checked on us a bit more - I wanted to add to my order at one point and to let her know my food wasn't warm at another point - but I couldn't be bothered to get up. The ambiance was also charming, in a hunter's-cabin-in-the-Midwest kind of way. (The taxidermy business around here must be booming!) Jokes aside, the design and set up gave it character, and it was clearly a popular location. Overall, enjoyed a solid, very filling meal as we were passing through! Glad we came here.

Well, well worth the turn off the highway from our destination. This had to be one of the best burgers I have ever had. The burger was on a pepper bun, with cheese, fried green beans and thick bacon. Cooked to perfection and the fried green beans added that extra twist. The burger came with a delicious potato pancake. Ohh.... yum. It was warm and spiced to perfection. They also serve pasta dishes, BBQ, soups, salads, fish and sandwiches. Everything sounded yummy and worth trying. Two thumbs up for this cute, cozy restaurant with delicious food!!!!

Iron Bridge is run by the same people as Rachel's and Springfield Grille (both down the street). All three are p a c k e d all the time; you see a lot of locals here. I've been here a couple of times when grabbing lunch. Their specialty is BBQ, but they also have other options including a variety of sandwiches. IB also has specials on a daily basis. Pricing is reasonable. Service is pretty good as well. Good for: BBQ, lunch Iron Bridge is a great alternative to Subway and the Golden Arches if you're in Mercer.

This restaurant used to be my favorite growing up. I recently went back. The food was not up to its standard. They changed the menu it was very disappointing! The service was still good.

Went here for Mother's day dinner. We had a 2 hour wait, but was worth it. We have been here for Mother's day brunch in 2005 and was amazing, wanted to try dinner and it was just as good.

Iron Bridge Inn is owned by Springfield Restaurant Group, a company that also owns Log Cabin Inn, Springfield Grille, Rachel's Roadhouse, and Hickory Bar and Grill. My family has dined at several of these establishments, but our recent trip to Iron Bridge Inn was a Springfield Restaurant Group first for me. Huge place, a huge place that is apparently full the vast majority of the time. My mom made me aware of this fact and then, surprisingly, the place was uncharacteristically empty when we showed up for late lunch a couple Fridays ago. Then 20 minutes after we were seated--packed. Unique decor that I'd describe as "Old West meets hunting expedition." There's a bunch of wood and stuffed exotic animals scattered about. I'm not generally a specialty drink kind of girl, but Iron Bridge Inn had a good-sized list of drinks. Not one drink was over $5.25, and most drinks were actually in the $3-$5 range. I love you, Western Pennsylvania! My "Chocolate Diamond" martini--a drink that would carry a $12 price tag with the same ingredients in San Diego--was great. Iron Bridge Inn's lunch/dinner menu is long and tempting, especially the sandwich page. I couldn't decide between the "Big Greek" burger and the "New Orleans Panini," and coincidentally my mom was torn as well; we ordered both and decided to cut our sandwiches in half. Oh, and delicious sweet potato fries as a side for $1 extra? Score! Big portions. The burger was yummy but a bit overcooked. The panini--I'm a sucker and a tough critic for a great panini--was fantastic and really loaded with Italian meats. Total satisfaction. Delores, our waitress, was such a sweet lady. At the end of our meal when we were bursting at the seams she said something to the extent of "Have room for dessert? Tis the season for pumpkin pie," which I thought was adorable. She also offered to take a group photo when she saw us looking through our Living Treasures Animal Park photos from earlier in the day. Thanks, Delores! My family loves Iron Bridge Inn, and now I'm a fan as well.

Came here only because the place we chose through Yelp had a long wait. Turned out to be a pretty good place. Buffet brunch. Pretty standard stuff but nicely prepared and decent flavors. Noting extraordinary, but when you're on a long trip (we were) and need to stop for a meal, you won't be disappointed here. They have a full menu too, but we had the buffet.
