Great Chinese take out place. Service is friendly and quick. We can place the order and then take the 10 minute walk to the store and it'll be ready. The chicken in the General Tso's is much better quality than the usual fatty dark meat at most Chinese restaurants. Beef lo mein is tasty too. Honestly, it's probably some of the best Chinese takeout I've ever had.

Ok place for quick, Chinese takout. We were first timers here and weren't exactly sure about the location. It's basically a takeout spot. Fried dumplings were good. Our test dishes for a new place are Kung Pao chicken, the Chinese-American General Tso's chicken, and pork lo mein. Of the three, the lomein was the best although it could have used a bit more veg. The Tso's was good but a little too sweet, but had a nice spicy bite with a good batter to meat ratio. The Kung Pao was ok, could have been spicier, and had larger chunks of veg than what we are used to. The order came with the requisite fried noodles, tea bags, and fortune cookies plus a container of what was some cabbage product - kim chee maybe- I didn't try it. Service was polite both in person and over the phone. The cost was $34 and there were plenty of leftovers.

My go-to place for quick Chinese take-out in Media. Nothing crazy or anything you wouldn't find at any other Chinese take-out place with those reused photos on the wall menu. But they do all the traditional dishes well and not too greasy, the prices are right, and their delivery has always been pretty fast, even in a snowstorm.

Good food, friendly service, willing to accommodate, happy to answer questions. If we want Chinese food in Media and we don't want Margaret's prices, we only eat here. Did I say quick? They're quick!

Firstly, I love a place that delivers to upper providence since all of the construction on Providence Road makes me stabby. We ordered a few times from there and the one thing I remembered each time was, holy salt Batman! My husband, who puts salt on salt, even commented on it. Ease up guys.

The food here is good especially if you are a vegetarian. They have plenty on non meat options. Even a mock general tso chicken. They were also able to subsistute baby corn and water chestnuts for my platter.

I just ordered from there and LOVED the vegetable pad Thai! I also ordered crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and hot and sour soup- all of which were very tasty! The delivery was very quick!! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Orange chicken and Pork Lo Mein were good. The woman at the counter was friendly. They gave me lots of sauces and chips with my order.

I love this place. Food is fresh - the veggie pad Thai and spring rolls are my FAVORITE - and they're always fast. The location is convenient and the staff is super friendly too, that's a big plus for me.

This is my favorite chinese take out restaurant in the Media area. They have the best hot and sour soup. The food is delicious and the customer service is great. They are very friendly and accommodating.

Best delivery Chinese Food in Media. I love this place. Exactly what I expect from a Chinese Food place. The delivery service is fast and pleasant. Order maybe once a month or so, yet they know who we are, ask how the kids are doing, etc... just nice folks. That makes a normally 4 star experience, a 5 star one. Trust me, if the food was not good, being nice only gets you so far and does not get my repeat business.

Great quality food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a 3 minute walk from my house. The food is your standard Chinese take out menu, but the quality is very good; I always order chicken and garlic sauce at a new restaurant, and this is the first that didn't send me into a diabetic shock. The veggies were julienned to maximize crunchiness while being cooked thoroughly, which is a great change from the soggy overly blanched sad broccoli I'm used to. My husband raved about the won ton soup; the noodles were very soft and the pork meatballs inside were very fresh and flavorful. The woman at the counter was really sweet, and gave us some really good pickled cabbage for free. So glad I decided to drop in for dinner! I'll definitely be back.

This place is my favorite in Media for Chinese. I usually stick to chicken and broccoli (I know I'm SO adventurous!) but the boyfriend likes the szecheun beef or general tsos. The won ton soup is also pretty good. They have the typical Chinese "combination platter" (white/fried rice, egg roll, entree) part of the menu which I like, but be prepared for tons of food. If I feel like eating a little healthier, I order my meal steamed (comes with white rice and side dipping sauce). The delivery for me has never taken too long, then again I'm patient, especially if I order during peak hours. Definitely recommend.

I'm vegetarian and this place easily has the BEST vegetarian options around. I've been to Margaret Kuo's for years, but in the last few, they've become downright rude. However, Yangtze is always friendly and happy for my business. I love their food and I love these guys. So good!!!

Congratulations, you found your take out Chinese place in Media. Food is good, not great. Orders are put together accurately. Staff is nice but sometimes young man at counter is too chatty. Delivery service is reliable and nice even when you don't have the correct cash for a tip!

I've tried Chinese food from many different places but Yangtze always keeps me coming back. Their product is consistently pleasing and the family that owns the place are very nice. There may be better places for Chinese but among the affordable choices, Yangtze ranks first.

Great place for Chinese food take out. We tried this place several years ago when we lived in Media but have been coming back even after we moved. Dinner portion sizes are large - you get 2 meals. The food is also not greasy (as the other reviewer stated), which is typical of Chinese take out. Prices are reasonable, food prep is quick, and the staff is friendly (they know us by name).

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
