The parking lot is the only problem I have with this starbucks. A couple of months ago, I would have given this place one star because of its rude baristas and dirtiness. But it is redone and looks clean and nice. Also, they hired a new staff who takes care of its customers and are nice.

Don't bother. I LOVE Starbucks, but not this one. The staff is, well a little odd, and the place is small, tight, and usually crowded with people who basically stare at the menu board. That's not the issue. It's the worst parking EVER. Hard to get into on a really busy corner, they have like 10 spots between Starbucks and Quizno's. I have to end up parking at the sleazy motel next door and walking-seriously one day my wife will drive by and see my car at the motel and that'll be it. I'm sure she'll believe I was walking to the Starbucks. So basically I'm saying that this place will be the end of my marriage. Overkill, maybe-but it could be accurate

I'm the foursquare mayor of this joint. I never, EVER thought I'd be the forsquare mayor of a Starbucks. **pushing up oversized Internets nerd glasses that have slipped down the bridge of my nose ** From other reviews: agree: the parking is from Sucksville. agree: quirky and diverse staff. But really, I'm surprised reading these reviews! I like my coffee as black and robust as the day is long...and I'm never disappointed. The staff is friendly, they offer free samples, specials (free refills) and make suggestions (nice to meet you, red eye!) for the uneducated consumer. Because the parking is soooo bad on a busy corner, I just can't give the 5th star...but if they buy the Quiznos they share the lot with and try to expand, it's allllll yours, Starbys.

I love Starbucks.. you could say i'm a starbucks freak.. but this location tends to not satisfy my drink.. 5 out of 10 times they get it perfect..

you know how Abercrombie only hires hot people? Well, I think this Starbucks is recruiting cougars. Nothing gets my Pike's Place up to 145' like a hot older chick in a christmas sweater & tight chinos. Rrrrr!

This is my local Starbucks and it's amazing! New staff is super nice!! Drinks are yummy!! Glad there has been a serious change!! This is what I expect when I visit Starbucks!

Not bad service, just weird. It's a pleasant place to relax and get some work done. The staff is just very self-involved. I don't want to hear about your weekend construction and trips to the library. Just a coffee.

The parking lot is always full here, so don't get your hopes up! Busy location, never any tables available. On my most recent visit, the Barista asked me if I wanted decaf (I assume because I'm obviously pregnant), but it's really not her place to ask me that. Most people know that you can drink regular coffee during pregnancy. That annoyed me. Like, if I was fat would you ask me if I wanted the low fat coffee cake?? Overall, they make my drinks correctly, so I guess it's OK. Once, they even made me a drink that I requested that wasn't on the menu!

Growing up in this area, Starbucks has always been my only consistent friend. I have been going here since highschool, college, got married and now raise 2 beautiful sons, bought my first house. And everytime I feel happy or down, of course I never forget to stop by this Starbucks. Every morning when I walk in, I feel like home away from home. Smell of brewing coffee and the staffs are extremely friendly. They always make you feel special by remembering your name and the right cup of coffee. Little things like that definitely help especially when you feel shitty that day.

The service here is good and they have a cute outdoor seating section. But as others have noted, the parking lot is awful and it is often 100% full in the morning and at lunch time (the only times I've ever stopped by).

Probably the last time I go out of my way to this Starbucks. Worst parking lot of them all! Today I was served an iced caramel macchiato that had no caramel and tasted as if it was simply milk and expresso. I've had good experiences in the past however after today and the never ending 5-10 minute wait for a parking spot I think I'll go to Springfield.

I always go to another Starbucks close to my home and get a hot chocolate. I have gone to the Starbucks at the corner of Baltimore Ave and 252 today and about two months ago, and both times I have been extremely disappointed. It's as if they waved a cocoa bean over the cup and considered that enough. Never again. Disappointed.

Parking here is a nightmare - and often there are no spaces - except for 2 resevred for the empty "We Buy Gold" store next door. I often park in the shopping center (acme) next door) and walk across the busy street to get my four dollar latte fix. Meanwhile - the service here once inside is actually good. The afternoon female barista (3-5 ish PM) is terrific. Can't remember her name. Oh - and please clean the bathrooms more. Blargh!

I really enjoy going to this Starbucks. The staff is a collection of some of the friendliest service workers around. There is plenty of seating so you can comfortably settle in and get some work done... in fact, it's for this reason that I drive by the more conveniently located (for me) Springfield store to go here. The major downside is the parking lot... it's a cluster-you-know-what during rush hours. Luckily I'm usually an off-hours visitor.

I have been in Starbucks all over the country. Media Pennsylvania is a funky little fair trade town nestled into the county seat with its courthouse and lawyer class. The Starbucks lacks an identity. It is on the outskirts of the town center. It feels less like a coffee house than a strip mall fast food coffee shop. Plus the sour smell of old bitter coffee hanging in the air here is killing me. I get the feeling that this place is open only because it can, and no other reason. Too bad. Starbucks is such a great brand.

Upgrade. For a Starbucks, this place is a life bridge to sanity in suburbia. The outdoor seating is my pup's favorite place to spend part of the morning. The staff is great, just avoid the unfriendly skinny twink in the early mornings with a perpetually bad attitude. Everyone else is awesome. Eager to please, great coffee and they even know my boy Tango. Love coming here.

The best thing this location has going for it is its location, as it's the only Starbucks in the greater Media area. However, parking is a big problem, as the parking lot is not nearly large enough to accommodate the heavy foot traffic it regularly gets. More often than not, I've had to wait longer in line at this location than others. On the plus side, this location has plenty of outdoor seating. In my humble opinion, they should close the Quiznos next door and just have Starbucks take over the whole building (no offense to Quiznos -- it just seems like Media would be better served to have more coffee and fewer sammies).

I came in here for a little post exercise treat. This store is a little smaller than other Starbucks, but I thought that made it feel cozier. There's a long snack bar counter facing the parking lot, and the traditional comfy area with tables. The employees were really friendly and everything was made fast and correctly. Even my boyfriend's blonde roast that had to be done specially had hardly any wait time. This starbucks is definitely one of the better ones I've been to, so stop in if you're in the mood for some yummy caffeine.

I love the Starbucks, here, its been my go to spot since I moved to the area. But John(you say), isn't all Starbucks the same? O no my uninitiated friend, not at all. This Starbucks is a perfect location in the busy intersection of Baltimore and Providence, and has a beautiful outside terrace in which you can enjoy a nice coffee along with a good cigarette, but obscured in someways from the main street. But not obscured enough where you can't do people watching with the people pulling in and out of the parking lot, or ordering their coffee in the store. You can sit there under the beautiful little trees, and while I don't know the scientific names of the trees. I've decided to name them Larry, Bill, and Mindy. Larry because he's just a stern SOB, and doesn't bend no matter what. Bill because he hates Larry and likes Mindy, and he's such a nice guy but damn it he hates Larry. Then Mindy because she likes both guys and man when you sit there for a while let the mayhem and drama ensue!!! WOOOOAAAHHH!!!! The people at the Starbucks are quick fast, and very nice. They will never bother you, even if you've sat there so long that you're going to spawn half men half chair babies.

Not much to say that hasn't been said already. Park across the street to avoid the parking lot (it's easy to cross on foot due to the near perpetual traffic on 252). I would love to see this Starbucks expand into the Quiznos to either add to the lot, add a drive through, or add additional luxury seating for long-term squatting. That said, this is my neighborhood Starbucks and while I've been to bigger, roomier, and more convenient locations, I'm still partial and a bit biased to it! As Sarah said, buy out the whole building and you'll get my coveted and highly sought after fifth-Yelp star.

As good as starbucks gets. This was my first time at this location. I didn't enjoy the long wait for my order, but it was tasty when I got it. I ordered a caramel apple spice, Hubs got a hot choc and the boys got vanilla cremes. All good. The rasberry scone was just ok.
