Breakfast! To be a little more exact, Eggs Benedict. They are wonderful. I also like the muffins. This place doesn't have anything that really jumps out at me except the Eggs Benedict and of course, the pies! Sometimes I would just swing in and grab a pie and bring it home. The coconut cream is great. If you just like pie, stop on in.

Excellent chain casual dining restaurant. 1) The food was good and affordable. 2) The serving size is generous. 3) Service was excellent.

Dirty. Water glass was dirty. To-go clear plastic container was handed to us DIRTY and then as we transferred the potatoes to the container we saw HAIR fried into the potatoes. Mmmmm. Gross. Never had that experience at any other Perkins. Smelled bad too. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Manager couldn't care any less.

Food was good service was amazing Ty for a great lunch!!! We had the new southwestern salad and it was really good just looked nothing like the photo on the menu and the corn and black bean spear was good other than it had way to many onions on it!!!

The place is clean except mens room was a mess. Missing urinal paper towel dispenser hanging open. Wait staff very nice&polite. Food was all pre prepared. Had country sausage and eggs. Bland, gravy tastes like flour. Best part was friendly staff.

I have been here quite a few times on my way farther west. I actually look forward to stopping here. I've never had a bad meal and the staff has always been incredibly nice. I leave stuffed and only end up spending about $25 with 20% tip. The selection is great and there are always specials to go along with the seasons.

Did not have a good experience here. Ordered the fish and chips and was so disappointed. The salad was ok then the meal came out. Awful! The fish was over fried and the coating was like a brick plus there was so little fish inside the breaking you could hardly see the fish plus taste it. The fries were cold so I asked for new ones and was hoping they would come out hot. Well they were somewhat hot but it seemed like they took old fries and put them back down in the fryer because they were soaked all the way through with grease. They were awful. I bent one in half just to see what would happen and the grease just dripped out of it and the fry did not break because it was filled with oil. I told the manager and it was no big deal to him. He just said I'll take it off the ticket for you. Thank you very much for the no charge and for now on I think I'll stick with their breakfast menu.

Not much to say - it's typical American fare. Prices are great, and the food is consistent. Under my tips, I advise you not coming between 11 and 2pm on Sundays. It is overcrowded, the waitstaff can't keep up, I've had dirty silverware, and the food does not come out fast for groups 4 or more quickly enough. However, when the food comes out, it is definitely hot/warm. Do not expect to get out under an hour if you come during this time on Sundays. Large menu, specials during the seasons, there is something for everyone.

Very hearty breakfast. Great eggs with crunchy bacon and crunchy fried chicken on a biscuit with gravy. So much to choose from.

All you can eat pancakes after 8 pm. Raspberry, maple syrups, apricot. Wonderful. I had 12 pancakes. Can't wait to do it again.

We miss our Perkins, so we stopped by this one on a road trip. I had the potato pancakes w/ bacon and hubby had the club sandwich w/ fries. My pancakes and bacon came out perfectly. Coffee was strong but drinkable. Service very friendly and attentive at 9am on a Saturday. If we lived nearby, I would be sampling the French Silk pie... :) We would definitely go back if in the area!

One of the few times I almost spoke a manager out of a bad experience....with said manager. I overheard severe "micro-management" of the waitstaff-so much that I wanted to tell the guy "Dood! Chill out!" -be careful -hurry up -seat these people -take their orders "Hi my name if Flo, I've been a career waitress for 35 years, but I feel the need to be herded like cats by a man half my age." Buddy, if you want to manage something, how about you talk to the patrons at table 12 with the kids playing 'how far can I fling my hashbrowns." When they left, table 12 looked like the Army had just gotten done testing missles. You poor, poor waitresses. BTW, please understand when I ask you where Providence Rhode Island is from here, don't say "North?"

The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the service was prompt. I will say I saw several customers complaining to each other that the chairs were cracked and really uncomfortable. They looked like it too. On to the food. Their menu sure had a lot of gluttonous things that looked like they'd be amazing. When I see a menu like that, I understand why much of America is obese. Who can eat like that? We ordered a chipotle eggs Benedict breakfast, in awe that they even thought to do that. Unfortunately, brilliant idea... executed poorly. It seemed as though more thought could have been given to selecting ingredients better. This was a big pile of spicy grease. There was so much grease it made me and my dining partner immediately very sick to our stomachs. (Sorry!) And before you blame our sensitive, fancy NYC digestive tracts, you should know that while in the bathroom there was a guest that was vomiting! Granted, she may have been pregnant or already sick, but I don't think it bodes well when the stalls are full and there's a line and everyone in the bathroom nauseous. Something tells me Perkins should stick to the simple stuff.

I have lived in the area about 15 years and have been here twice. Both times there was an insect in my food. I will never go again.

I went to keystone fireworks down the street and asked if there was any place in the area where I could get a good burger. The response I got was 'either Stewarts or mcdonalds' so I don't think they got the 'good' element of that question. My friends and I drove down the street a bit and settled on Perkins. It was definitey a couple steps over mcdonalds so I was happy enough. The burgers were different and the waitstaff was friendly. I don't think there was booze though. I guess that coincides with the whole 'family' thing. The sweet potato fries were good too.

As my husband said, "lower your expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised." I've been coming to this Perkins since I was little. It was even an annual summer camp trip (I went to a very ghetto camp, it seems). I always loved that when you order coffee, they bring over a whole pot. The food is all mediocre, but seriously you're in the parking lot of a Kmart. It's this, or Wendy's, or drive to the Walmart and get McDonalds. The options aren't exactly plentiful. Note: Vegetarians (if you do exist in the Poconos) beware. My husband and I picked one of the very very very few veg options on the breakfast menu-- a biscuit with gravy (none for us, please), two eggs, and home fries or hashbrowns. Even though it came with sausage or bacon, we requested neither and specifically said we are meat-free. When the dishes came out, the biscuit was cut in half and there was some type of processed meat patty inside. Grrr... I wanted that biscuit. Everything else was good, though, and everyone nearly cleaned their plates. Perkins serves its purpose. Medium food, good unlimited coffee, nice staff, close proximity to big box stores. On food alone, it rates a two, but for the area it's a solid 3 stars.
