I've eaten at this diner many times over the years and I can honestly say that the quality has gone WAY down hill. Recently my husband and I decided to stop by and grab a quick bite before going to the grocery store. It was after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush, so it wasn't very busy. First thing I noticed while waiting to be seated was a lot of misspelled specials on the white board. Not that misspelling the word feta as "fetta" is a huge deal but it was just the beginning of details that were off. The waitress was friendly but inattentive. My husband ordered sliders. The item was advertised as 3 sliders, coleslaw and French fries. What he got was 3 regular size hamburgers...a lot to eat even for a hungry guy! I ordered a ham & cheese club sandwich. I didn't want the coleslaw and chips that came with it so I asked to exchange it for the macaroni salad and French fries with cheese. The waitress said there would be a charge to do so and I agreed. I should have asked how much(see picture of check below). My club sandwich was SO big I doubt Guy Fieri would have been able to get it in his mouth during a taping of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.(See picture) The ham was sliced thickly and piled high. Even when I took the sandwich apart, by half, it was difficult to eat. It had a Miracle Whip type dressing on it, not mayonnaise which I was expecting. The tang of the dressing and sweetness of the ham was a strange combination. My macaroni salad was very salty and mediocre. The French fries were served with pieces of American cheese thrown on top and melted in the microwave(see picture). The cooks from the kitchen even looked out at our table to see if I was going to eat it, I didn't. Our ketchup was empty, took one from another table. The bathrooms were filthy! The handicapped ladies stall was disgusting and my husband refused to use the men's bathroom. I saw a female employee use the bathroom and NOT wash her hands! I passed her waiting on a table! When I went to pay my bill I noticed they had a can of Air Wick room spray, that they appeared to be using, mixed in with candy for sale behind the counter in a glass viewing window. I don't want those chemicals or perfumes on any candy I want or for my kids. I couldn't believe this crappy lunch cost me this much. I could have gone to a nicer, cleaner place. Won't be back here. Can't recommend it.

Food is very average, but consistent. An older crowd that seems to be the early bird special type . I have nothing bad to say about the place. Three and 1/2 star rating. Prices are reasonable and portion size is the best thing going for this place. Service is above average and friendly. This is more country cooking rather than a New Jersey style diner.

Clean, friendly service, good diner fare. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice solid diner experience.

Very good breakfast menu. If you are looking for breakfast, this is the spot. Good service, good food, clean, fast, and friendly.

We stopped by on our way past Harrisburg, PA about 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening and had fairly good "home made" style pie each (large slice of not too sugary pecan, and large slice of apple pie also not too sugary), with a couple of coffees (free refills!) and soda. The menu looked like a typical diner menu with lots of "specials" and deals for Seniors. In fact there were a lot of seniors eating here. There is no bar so no alcohol but lots of tables including booths. Waitress was fairly quick and said she was fairly new at it and "no longer eats out." We didn't know if she was talking about the quality of the food at the diner or if she now gets fed there (and didn't ask). Wheelchair accessible and fairly clean but not as busy as one would expect at dinner time.

Very average. I went here on a recommendation for an easy night for dinner since I had just gotten and with nasty weather looming I didn't want to go too far, so this was a nice suggestion. Like everybody else whom I asked, I ordered breakfast for dinner (more specifically, a meat lovers omelette with a chocolate milkshake). Anyhow, while the omelette was pretty big and good (lots of meat), the home fries that came with it were pretty bland, and the milkshake was way too rich and thick. I couldn't drink all of it. The prices were fair too, so at least I know I didn't have to spend too much to eat there (no diner should have to have a single person paying more than $10-$12 for food). I'd go back here again, try another breakfast item, but definitely without the milkshake.

Was better but recently raised prices and changed hours so now it closes at 11 pm, for the current prices the food is not as good as it should be, but still better than summerdale diner.

Our dinner...baby beef liver and onions and meatloaf with apple butter and mashed potatoes. My gram ordered the over priced $1.69 root beer that our server could not keep filled even though we were the only ones there at 11:45 at night. The meat loaf was very good, moist cut of meat-the marinara sauce made it taste even better! My grandmother said her liver was too tough to chew but good. We were here on June 4, 2013. Service and food were good enough as to be expected for a diner.
