I can't believe it took me this long to give a super review to Pam and Dallas (and Quincy) for being such great hosts for my husband and I! We just got married in NJ 3 days after hurricane Sandy hit the east coast and were worried our honeymoon venue may have also been out of power as our reception venue was. When I got Pam on the phone, she said she had been thinking about ME during the storm and hoped everything was fine. If it wasn't clear by my opening paragraph, my husband and I spent our honeymoon at this B&B, for a more relaxing experience than most honeymoon-goers. We had such a great time! We stayed in the Cottage Cabin and my goodness, it was amazing. There was a fireplace, a heated bathroom floor, a shower with several different shower heads for that spa effect, heated whirlpool tub, and a mini bar. Everything was clean, smelled fresh, and the bed was beyond comfortable. Pam was always bringing us fresh cookies and asking if we would want breakfast served in our room or with them. We alternated days because why not! Pam and Dallas are such great people to talk to. It was a pleasure getting to know them. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of tastes on one plate, never duplicating during the week we stayed. They also offered a good amount of information on things to do during our stay. Quincy, their dog, was a real trip! I wanted to take him home (and I am not very fond of dogs). My husband and I truly felt like royalty while we were staying with Pam and Dallas. On our first night, we wanted to make a bag of microwave popcorn but felt weird asking to use their microwave so late at night, but Dallas hopped right up and popped it for us, even gave us a bowl - no second thought! And my husband wanted to purchase fresh Amish butter... but Pam beat him to it and gave us a good hunk of the batch she bought as a gift. Not to mention a few other gifts we received from them to bless our new marriage. We will absolutely be going back and look forward to it. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. They really do know and love what they're doing over there. There is so much to do in the area and even more down towards Lancaster that we needed more than a week to hit all the places. Definitely check out Bubes Brewery. We had dinner one night in the Catacombs. The lighting down there is very dim but the menu definitely a bit fancier and worth a visit. I came back to purchase one of the house brews in a growler. We went on the Lancaster ghost tour which was fun, took a buddy ride and had lunch at Plain and Fancy, saw the production of Jonah at Sight and Sound, ate at Shady Maple Smorgasbord (always a favorite), and took note of every other place we'd have to go to. We had a fantastic time and had recommended this place to a friend of mine who stayed in the Cottage around Christmas last year and had an awesome experience.

Thank you Pam and Dallas for a wonderful overnight at your sweet b&b. genuine friendly hosts ensuring you have a comfortable time. The rooms are clean nicely decorated, soft linens, comfy bed. Soda and water and ice available with nice bath amenities. Breakfast delicious, Quincy the dog was a big mush. I'd definitely come back when visiting Hershey or Lancaster area again.

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful and historic home. We found it be casual and enjoyable. There casual approach of our hosts and their wonderful dog, Quincy, made made feel right at home. Outstanding pancakes for breakfast. Wonderful touch of fresh baked cookies in the room after dinner and a newspaper at the door in the morning.

My husband and I decided to spend our first anniversary here and it couldn't have been better. Dallas, Pam and their adorable lab, Quincy, are exceptional hosts and made us feel right at home. Our room and the whole house was beautiful and the breakfast each morning was incredible. They also have by far the best DVD collection to choose from. They also had plenty of suggestions for things to do near by and places to go eat. I would definitely recommend their B&B to anyone looking to visit this area. We'll be back again soon.

I have to agree with the previous reviews ... the place was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious as long as you like what was served there were no choices. My only complaint is the nearby train tracks woke me up several times during the course of the night and that was with the windows closed. It is also located near a major intersection with pretty noisy truck traffic early in the morning.

Pam and her husband were wonderful hosts, so welcoming. They walk you to your room and help you get settled, and ask you at which time you would prefer breakfast. There are delicious homemade treats in your room upon arrival. They make you feel as though you are at home, but definitely relaxed and allow you to do everything at your own pace. They are very knowledgeable of the local attractions and help you get around. What's nice is that they've experienced most of the things to do, so they don't just give you directions, but they're able to help you find things according to your interests and how you want to spend you getaway. Pam makes wonder breakfast, and her baking is delicious!! One morning she made a zucchini muffin with the zucchini from her garden. The rooms are cleaned each day, and you also have clean towels daily. There is even a movie library for nights you just want to stay in. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and it was such a wonderful experience thanks to the two great hosts. I'm thinking of returning this winter to getaway again!

Pam, Dallas and there dog Quincy have a way of making you feel right at home. Their warm personality and loving demeanor make it hard to leave. Not to mention the B&B is beautiful, we stayed in the cottage and with comfortable bedding and a relaxing bathroom with spa features, it is the place to stay in the Landcaster area. They recommend places to go and eat in the area and even go the extra mile to try and make special arrangements if there's something you want to do. The food is exquisite and draws you in every morning from across the house. We came here on a recommendation from a family member, and we will be recommending it to anyone and everyone ourselves. Thank you Pam and Dallas for making our trip memorable, and we look forward to returning and making more memories.

We had a great visit to the Hiestand House. Dallas, Pam and their dog Quincy were great hosts. Everyone was very friendly and laid back. The house is beautiful and our room was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful. There was an extensive DVD collection including new releases from this week. Dallas and Pam both offered great advice on restaurants and other area attactions. We were able to easily explore Lancaster and York counties from the quaint little town of Marietta. We will be back.

We just spent three nights at this wonderful B&B. The innkeepers and other guests were very friendly. The accommodations were very nice with a comfortable bed and fancy spa/shower. Breakfast was scrumptious each morning. The room prices are very reasonable. If you are visiting Lancaster County, consider staying at B. F. Hiestand House. You want be disappointed!

My wife and I spent two days at the house. The hosts and their dog were wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great and easily as good as eating out. Hosts had many suggestions of things to do in the area. Everything in the room was very clean, neat, and nicely decorated. Very comfortable 2 night stay, far better than many hotels. Wife and I both felt we would not hesitate for a second to book another stay at BF Hiestand House.
