We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon before the dinner hour and were promptly greeted by Betty who also became our server. She was bubbly and pleasant throughout our experience. We were offered both the dinner and lunch menus choosing to have dinner. After reviewing the specials presented by Betty and the menu I chose bruschetta followed by the meatloaf as I often do. The bruschetta was made with obviously fresh ingredient's and quite tasty. Lamb's Creek's meatloaf was an unusual, but a delicious presentation, topped with a fresh tomato slice, 2 strips of bacon and Cajun seasoning. I believe the only better meatloaf I have ever had was at Mr friendly's in Columbia, SC. My wife had the Fish Fry and found it to be excellent. The rice pudding she had for desert she found good but too sweet. In addition to good food Lamb's Creek was beautifully decorated including an wonderful antique bar. The dinner music was tune's from the 50's and 60's. The entire facility was shiny clean. Overall a great choice.

I eat here about twice a month I always get the Chicken Parm, & it is good. It has been $18 for a long time & it came with 1 side (salad) and two small pieces of garlic bread. Since September 2015 they have raised the price to $19 & deleted the garlic bread. Also the Delmonico steak was always $20 with 3 sides. Now it is $24 with 2 sides. They are raising prices while deleting quantity, poor business practice and customer service. I will limit my eating here considerably & try the steak house in Wellsboro instead

February 4th, 2015 Dearest Mina, I write to you having crossed through snow and ice, having arrived at this tavern having nearly been struck by a passing sledge as it veered across the road, the driver nearly losing control, whether from weather or drink I am uncertain. I am still on business for the Count, though a gypsie had counseled me to end my dealings with him, I could not let my reason be swayed by his raditional superstitions. Would only that they had a train, that I might return to you that much sooner! I sit now in a cozy tavern, a small fire warming the many guests and staff. It appears the have stuffed lambs over the hearth, how quaint! The staff is friendly to me, even though I am a stranger, and offer me a drink and sime fine soup! It is hearty and flavorful, full of ham and beans and vegetables. This is brought almost immediately after arriving, and is soon followed by a trencher stuffed with sliced prime rib. With the bread soaked with sauce, each bite was a succulent treat. If I continue this way, I'll have gained 5 stone when next I see you! Until that long awaited day, Jonathan Harker

So stopped at the gas station and was thinking is about time to eat. This looked like an option. The staff were friendly and talkative. Started with a bowl of veggi beef soup. The soup was super rich and tasty. For the main I choose the portobello the description sounded awesome. I also choose onion rings as my side. The sandwich was better than it sounded. My food all came out fast. My water and coffee were kept topped off. I like the atmosphere of the place. I think I counted 5 fireplaces the Irish pub bar is beautiful.

Excellent dining experience. Chose the Lambs Creek Lobster Fried Chicken. Boneless chicken breast dipped in buttermilk and seasoned flour then fried golden and crispy; topped with lobster meat in a light sherry and herb cream sauce. Delicious! The portions were just right. I also had a salad with a in-house made French Dressing...again, Delicious! The prices were appropriate for the entrees'. The service was good. Jamie our server was polite and attentive. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially to those staying at the Comfort Inn which is just across from the restaurant because it does not require having to drive all over town looking for a place to eat.

We were hungry travelers and stopped for lunch. It was Sunday brunch time and it was delicious.

From the outside this restaurant looks like it has potential. The restaurant has been recently remodeled and has a veneer of sophistication. All hopes get squashed fast. Beginning with the tortoises' pace service, the pedestrian $10.00 chicken wings, and the "Not quite up to Denny's quality" French dip. My bill including tip neared $40. What I received for that money, was very disappointing. I should have eaten at the Sheetz across the street. And saved myself the dysentery I got from poorly prepared food.

I'm no expert on calamari, but the appetizer plate here contained obviously frozen calamari strips that tasted like they'd overstayed their "use by" date by a few months. They tasted mealy and were pale and sad looking. I'm not sure if getting a crisp on them would have helped the taste, but at least they would have looked better. Sorry, but I really have to disagree with the menu's description of the platter: "Hand prepared and delicately marinated calamari "steak" strips, dusted with seasoned flour and fried to perfection! Served with pepperoncini mayonnaise." In hopes of balancing my deep-fried appetizer with a healthier selection, I chose the portobello sandwich. The menu described it as a "marinated and grilled Portobello mushroom cap served on grilled roll with sautéed spinach, peppers, herb mayonaise and melted Mozzarella cheese." I'm pretty sure my roll was not grilled. It was, however, full of at least a cup of mayo, light on the herbs. The spinach seemed more like it was creamed, not sauteed. There were three red peppers, also drowned in the mayo mix. The sandwich innards slid right out of the bun. (Really, with that much mayo, it was not a surprise.) That sauce should be offered on the side. My waitress was nice and fairly prompt, except when I wanted the bill and she was across the room chatting up another family of diners. Next time I'm in Mansfield, I think I'll try somewhere else for lunch.

Ok so me and a guest ate here tonight. The food and was good. I would give the food an 8 out of 10. However can't remember her name. There was a chubby girl with pearls on her neck laughing about having to disturb another tabletop to take one of their unused tables. Not sure why she would laugh. The owner was in galavanting and talking with customers. But didn't really chat with me or my guest. Only seems to wanted to talk to the elderly. Our waitress. I would give a 2 out of 10. Her name was Teng. She wasn't talkative. We had to ask several times to have things removed from the table. She just seemed to have hated her job. I ordered the country fried steak and my guest ordered a burger. They were good. But the service sucked.

The restaurant looks every nice inside and out. Some of the staff, and the owner only paid attention to certain people. My guest and I where ignored most of the time, and we had to keep telling are waitress to take are plates. My meal was good, I had a hamburger, and fries.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Niagara Falls a few months ago. The food was great and the waitress was very friendly. It looked like the kind of place that would be packed on the weekends.

Bacon and Prime Rib - I want to talk about this a bit later. The building is very inviting and there were certainly enough signs pointing to this location that we decided to try it. The interior was nice as well and we were seated right away for the restaurant's Sunday Brunch offering. We had a quick tour of a food/service line that spanned 3 rooms and seemed rather impressive. So for $17.99 we each decided to give it a try. Our meal - as described by our server - included a beverage choice: coffee and juice or (Mimosa or Bloody Mary). That's how it was described. I was about to take my turn at the wheel anyway so it gave my friend the opportunity to have a Mimosa while I had orange juice and coffee. More about that later. The gentlemen on the carving line and crepe station were really phenomenal - all polite, professional and very helpful. The hostess - wonderful personality and always cheerful, smiling and helpful. The food? Not so good. French toast with mushy centers. Breakfast casserole that was flavorless and dried up. Tilapia in cream sauce that was stringy, runny and not at all appealing in flavor or presentation. Pierogi - rubbery. Potatoes - flakes from a box (which I did actually like). Desserts: Macaroons that were dry and crunchy rather than moist. Carrot cake that was several days old and cut into tiny little squares - leftovers? I tried almost everything but skipped the salads and chicken cacciatore. Two final comments - looking at the final bill back at the car - we were charged for the Mimosa - (makes sense but that's not what we were told). And finally? Prime Rib and Bacon? The Prime Rib was damn good. The bacon - from a local supplier - was the best on the planet. So if you try the brunch, you should stick to the Prime Rib and Bacon.

Stopped in with friends at about 4pm on a Saturday afternoon... Alumni Weekend at MU. Very disappointed. We tried three different draught beers - all flat. The service was very slow, although there were only 3 tables in the place. Food was nothing special. We'll skip this place next time.

Stopped in for dinner the other night after seeing sign on highway 15. Hostess was lovely, very personable, service was effecient, and was very impressed even though I only had the Turkey Club. Nicest thing was, it wasn't just "deli" turkey, but real turkey breast sliced off a roast. Flavor was great. Also had a locally produced merlot that was very nice. Would recommend highly

I have eaten here twice on my way to New York. It is obvious from the outside and the interior that some major renovation and decorating was done. Attention was placed on the details--woodwork, murals, outside fountain, etc. The food is pretty decent; prices average. I would love to give 4 stars, except for one factor: service. On both occasions, service has been a little slow. Also, the hostess did not seem very friendly when I asked her a question about a change in the interior from my last visit there. She just stared at me and never answered my question. I found that a little offputting. Would I eat here again? Yeah, probably, because it is convenient and there aren't a lot of non-fast food options in northern PA.

Friendly staff and waitress. Interior is a mishmosh of country, old world, and 70s. Carpet dirty. Food just okay. Not much to make me want to come back.

We arrived for dinner at Lamb's Creek & waited for ten minutes before we even saw the hostess. She finally appeared (there were two other parties waiting as well), and the first thing she said was "I have to go turn on the outside lights" and left. After five more minutes she had finished with the lights and seating the other parties. We were seated at a four top that had one chair removed (why don't they have enough?). We waited another five minutes until a waitress came to take our drink order, and surprise(!) it was the hostess. She got our drinks and said another waitress would be along, but she didn't arrive for 10 minutes. She was great! Food selection was small and wholly average. Two stars for the redeeming qualities and the pleasant interior. Proceed with caution, but there's not many options in this small town.

We went there for Sunday brunch and that was a big mistake ($18 per person). The first problem was that we arrived late around 1pm. The restaurant was practically empty and that was the first red flag, we should've left then but sadly we didn't. They had a made to order omelette station and prime rib/ham carving station. The omelette was the best thing about the brunch, the other heated food items were bland and cold because the trays were not covered. There was also a very small salad station that was hidden in the back of the restaurant and the dessert area was very basic. The host and waitress were both very friendly and so was the guy at the omelette station however I will definitely not return for brunch.

I am sorry that I can not recommend this restaurant. We received a couple of discount coupons from the Bed and Breakfast that we stayed at but we had already made the reservations at the recommendation of the Innkeeper so we were really looking forward to a nice meal. Our reservation was at 6 pm on Saturday night and were seated immediately. The waiter was very nice and our salads arrived promptly. This was at about 6:15-6:20. The four people in our party all ordered straight off the menu, no variations. Unfortunately we did not know that our entrees would not arrive for about an hour after the salads. They were busy but an experienced restaurant should be prepared for a busy Saturday night. If the food would have been over the top, it would have been ok but the food was average to mediocre. One person got the chicken fried steak and it was way to thick for this type of dish preparation and came out very tough. Our orders included the mashed potato, meat loaf, Chicken in lobster sauce, and hamburger which were all ok, but again, nothing to justify an hours wait. The peas appeared to be canned. I can honestly say that we won't be back again.

Excellent place to stop in. Italian night on Tuesday, with specials for those who like Italian dishes. Interior creates the nice environment and the waitresses back the environment up with their great attitudes. The food is fast to the table and can be surprisingly large in quantity. Known for their barbecue burger, I would advise to have the sauce come in a dish so you can put on the desired amount. I wish their assortment of beer was increased and they had a TV or two behind the bar. Pricing for the food is ok I guess with the size of the main the way it is. If your in the area, I definitely would advise stopping in and hanging out.
