Stopped here for a burger upon the recommendation of one of my husband's friends...and left wondering whether the recommendation was a cruel joke. I mean, seriously, it was one of the worst tasting burgers I have EVER tasted. Our bartender/server was very nice, and the drafts were cheap, but other than that, I cannot see any reason to return.

LPG! This town would NOT be the same without LPG (Loretto pub and grille). This is the main attraction for the students and faculty at saint francis university, the bar gets FULL on weekends especially on event nights! The wings here are TO die for, Tuesday's are wing night specials! The staff is doing a good job, BUT hours need to be extended to at least 3 am. Many college kids take the thursday party bus to ebensburg castle pub, which leaves LPG rather empty at times. Great atmosphere when DJ is there!

You want wings? I mean, seriously good wings? You go to the LPG. Seriously, I don't think I've eaten anything else there and that's quite alright. Their wings are priced right, especially for the size. I mean, there's actually meat on them! My favs are bourbon and honey mustard. To make them extra good, ask them to bake the wings. The bar itself is nothing special to look at but hey, it's a college bar! There are several TVs so you don't miss a game and quite a bit of seating so it's somewhat accommodating to the more crowed nights (which happens, a lot) The last time I dined there, our service was pretty great! Wings took a little longer than expected but my guess is that they had a lot of to go orders. They were well worth the long wait anyway. I can't wait to go get wings again!

This bar offers that is missing in the bar scene around here. A nice, chill spot to watch the game or listen to some tunes while enjoying a beer or three. Russ, the owner, is s great guy and really cares about his business. Very clean compared to other places in town.

I would love to say that I had a great experience visiting this pub after I attended a reception across the street, but this place is just sub-par. The bar area and upstairs tables were full and only one person, I believe the owner, was working the bar. After waiting quite a bit to order a round of beers and shots for my family, we were served in small plastic cups (and charged full pint pricing for the beers) and the shots were served in some small plastic container (something similar to what you'd get a jello shot in and definitely less than your typical 1oz. shot pour). I understand that this is a bar that likely caters to its college crowd, but I expect to be served beer in a glass/mug if I'm paying full price!! What a disappointment!! We would have stayed longer, but we felt like the prices were pretty steep and the service poor. I understand that people in that area have limited options, but this bar needs a serious upgrade and some staff!!
