Good home-cooking, comfort food. Reasonably priced. We went Sunday mid-day and it was packed with after church crowds. They still seated us quickly and accommodated our requests with a smile. There was a slight issue with it being freezing inside (not sure if their heat was off or broken, but it was really cold). I had the veggie plate. Mac and cheese was on point, curly fries didn't disappoint. I didn't love the mashed potatoes. But the blue cheese on my salad was amazing amazing.

Need a quick, delicious, reasonably priced meal? Get a package of their knot rolls, their sliced home baked ham, the fresh sliced farmers cheese and the Oregon dairy milk...best combo ever, no condiments needed and great for eating while driving.

Oregon Dairy Bakery did my cupcakes for my wedding this year. They were absolutely beautiful - they matched our colors perfectly. We received so many compliments on how amazing they tasted AND how cute they looked! I would highly recommend the bakery!

Excellent birthday cake. Ordered a 1/4 of a sheet cake and it fed 35 people which was far more than expected. Our cake was chocolate with a chocolate cream filling and a peanut butter frosting. We loved it! Definitely recommend!

Needed a decorated birthday cake last night and knew that their chocolate cake was just like my recipe for a homemade cake, moist not dry like a box cake. I got the peanut butter icing and left the colors and decorating up to them. I got the 1/8 sheet cake to serve 10-12 and we cut it into 9 pieces and we all got a just perfect larger slice of cake. It was exactly the way I wanted it, very moist and melt in your mouth delicious! It had 3 yellow roses on one corner, more tiny flowers in pastel colors, scroll lines along the sides, dusted with glitter and edible pearls scattered throughout. I also want you to know they have a glass doored freezer case with ready made decorated cakes and ice cream cakes that you can pick out and they will write on it on the spot instead of ordering one in advance. Highly recommend!

This review is for the bakery. I used to work at a popular bakery in Philadelphia and I know a good cake when I see/taste one. The cakes we order from here are always consistently delicious. I live near Willow Valley and after eating stale bland cake after stale bland cake, I decided to get my cakes from Oregon Dairy. They do a great job decorating. They do fondant cakes as well, but for a very fresh, moist, traditional round or sheet cake, they do an excellent job! edit: We ordered a large sheet cake for my daughter's birthday recently. It was a layered half sheet, with chocolate silk in between the layers on half of the cake, and vanilla cream between the layers on the other half of the cake. For the very first time, the cake was stale. I was so incredibly bummed, considering I bragged about how moist their cakes always were. A month later, I ordered an 8" round for my birthday and I had the same problem. But then we tried another cake recently that was just as delicious as always. I wonder how far in advance they make the cakes? anyway I'm sure we'll try it again. A little bummed though.

Bakery: I LOVE their cupcakes! I use them for any party or occasion I am having when I need a great dessert. They are very affordable and soooo good! they have whipped icing and buttercream, the whipped is by far the best! (and they'll let you sample each!) I love the plain white cake, but the chocolate is also good. I also had them design a cake for my daughter's 1st bday and it turned out very well! They did a great job with the design, and I'm picky! Try them!

This place got it's reputation for being a cute, likable, sweet little place when it first opened 50 years ago or more. Today it leans and lives on the reputation of yesterday. It's quite unpleasant to go to today especially knowing all the wonderful authentic fresh markets in the area that you could choose to go to instead. Ex: Central Market in downtown Lancaster.... the longest continuously active market in the United States of America. It was probably at one time a fantastic place to go get homemade ice cream and authentic Lancaster treats........ bring the kids...... run around the farm....take photos of the farm animals. Now it is a sprawling, circuitously and confusingly laid out Supermarket. It is way overpriced with much of the food being-prepared and pre-packaged in an outside factory and shipped in daily or weekly. Be sure to check the dates on all items you wish to purchase...... that was my first mistake .........or maybe my first mistake was getting out of the car. Yes, I'm using sarcasm. The ice cream shop is cute. Ice cream is no longer made on the premises .......its not even Oregon dairy cream. Just one more thing they fail to tell you about. The original Oregon dairy was put to rest many many many many years ago. What sits on this land now is simply a faximile of something that was, at one time, a proud part of the history of Lancaster County. Oregon dairy died a long time ago....... but they're still trying to survive on its prior reputation. I compared prices with Giant supermarket, Stauffers, etc. Oregon dairy is so incredibly overpriced, over- valued, and the staff...under-educated.....it's appalling deceitful. To find one item I had to ask four different people who work there.....never was directed to the item I sought out. The way the store is laid out I wish I had a bicycle. I was up and down 12 aisles looking for one stinking item...... which when I did finally find it ......it was disappointingly mis-marked by 4 days. Interesting that the price failed to reflect the, 'mistake '. If the exhorbitant prices of this store don't scare you away, or the incorrect dating on items that are no longer available or edible, then don't go simply because the staff doesn't care if you're there or not. It was a most unpleasant experience. The only thing that made it worse is that I actually brought out-of - towners to show off the deer and the ....not homemade........'homemade ice cream', which is no longer made there. One more authentic Lancaster site...bites the dust. Next review will be about the restaurant and the Oregon dairy restaurant or should I say; park, eat, and barf, buffet.

Our cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! We just wanted a small cake for cutting purposes and didn't want to pay a fortune. One of the times we came up for a venue meeting, we stopped by Oregon Dairy and performed a little tasting of our own... like, we bought several cakes and cupcakes, took them home, and picked our favorites. All the flavors were awesome, specifically the red velvet marble and the white cake with raspberry buttercreme filling. We opted for the red velvet marble, and since the cake was small enough/not a tiered cake, my dad was able to just pick it up and bring it to the venue.

This review is for the grocery store... So the story goes... my wife and I had been going to Giant for our regular grocery shopping until they tore it down to renovate. Which led us to the beacon of grocery light set on a hill called Oregon Dairy Grocery. Their prices (so far) are seemingly identical to what you would find at Giant or Weis. The fruits and veggies are better as well as the all the meats. They even offer my wife's beloved Boar's Head deli meats. The greatest improvement however is the service. The employees here are considerably more helpful. All the food department personnel are friendly - not like "Homie-Da-Yo-Boy" at Giant who looks annoyed everytime you ask for something. The kids at the checkout line have been good too - very speedy and not gossiping with their BFF at next checkout aisle. I'll gladly drive a few miles extra for a better shopping experience. I highly recommend trying these guys out.

The ice cream here is DELICIOUS. My brother and sister-in-law moved to Pennsylvania a couple years ago and this is a must-visit when I come in to see them!! The chocolate peanut butter ice cream was my favorite, but you pretty much cannot go wrong with anything here. The grocery store seemed nice too and I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant -- just the ice cream shoppe on the far left hand end of the building!!

A friend of mine was looking for a traditional Lancaster-county style meal, so I took her here. Food was alright (I'm not a fan of local fare), service was good. Atmosphere was outdated, even for a local place.
