Quite easily my favorite restaurant in Lewisburg. I love authentic Italian food, and this place really delivers. Whether you like pizza, pasta, or appetizers - you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend their fried calamari, for it is easily the best I've ever had. I will continue to spend my money on their delicious food so long as nothing changes in regards to their wonderful recipes.

Ate here for lunch while traveling through the area on a Saturday afternoon. The exterior is nicely decorated with a gazebo and some classical statues. Left side of the building is the restaurant while the right side houses the banquet facilities. Decor is very nice with an excellent amount of seating. Serves a full Italian menu including many reasonably priced items, I ordered a Cheese Steak Special while my friend ordered a Chicken Cheese Steak. Before the meal started we were each given a piece of garlic bread with a tomato spread that was delicious, along with a basket of bread. The house bread is thick, warm, and delicious. Service was quick and the food arrived quickly. Both Cheese Steaks were served with chips and were excellent, serving size was large with very fresh bread; the only issue being we both needed more sauce. Great place for a meal and I would absolutely return again. Prices were very reasonable with quick service and excellent food.

I loved this restaurant. The food was amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The portions were big, so we went home with enough leftovers for our lunch next day. We did not get a chance to try their dessert. We were too full.

Maybe not four stars, more like 3 and 3/4 ..That said you are in Lewisburg PA, so there is not much of a bar to beat. We went as a table of 4 and I found the service good and the food very nice. I was there on a Friday in Lent so I was avoiding meat and they still had plenty to choose from. I went with the manicotti parm and it was quite good. My wife had Pizza which was also good. I will go back on my trips to Bucknell.

I had La Primavera cater a pasta dinner for our swim team. They were exceptionally helpful, accommodating and prompt. They delivered the meal hot and on time. I was worried that the portions would be large enough for our hungry swimmers. There was more than enough and it was all delicious. Thank You Vito, Phyllis and La Primavera!

I REALLY wanted to like this place. It's right down the street from our new house and looks so quaint and romantic from the outside. The inside however does not have the same feel...I guess I was expecting it to be a little more formal and intimate...it's not. But, that's definitely not the worst of it. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, as recommended by our waitress, and was kinda surprised. The chicken was breaded and served in a lemon sauce over spaghetti with mushrooms? and asparagus?? Every chicken piccata I've ever had was served in a white wine sauce with capers, but ok...the part that disturbed me the most was the amount of garlic (and it was the fake, jarred crap) that was all over EVERYTHING! Needless to say, I ate about a quarter of the meal and could not sleep the rest of the night. My indigestion was so bad that I ended up throwing up the next morning. I definitely won't be able to return...I'm queasy just thinking about it :/

We were in town for the NCAA soccer tournament and needed a quality dinner for the team. Vito and his team at La Primavera prepared a feast. Thank you Vito, you have a great place. I hope to be a guest again.

Very solid italian restaurant with a great buffet. I was lucky enough to be in Lewisburg for Lunch on Sunday and I was extremely pleased with the selection and the quality of the food available. Most of the buffet items were high quality entrées and I would have gladly paid the price of the buffet ($12) for a single serving of much of the food available. There was a good selection of wine and the desserts were to die for.

I would compare the quality of the food served at La Primavera to something one might expect from the fine Italian restaurants in Brooklyn, NY. The prices are very low, and the volume on the plate is challenging. Very courteous and attentive waitstaff, and a soft and relaxing atmosphere. Some of the best bread on the East Coast! This is the sort of place that other establishments should model themselves after, an ideal dining establishment in Central Pennsylvania.

We had our wedding reception here. They did a great job, the food was just the best. We had sooo many family and friends telling us how good the food was and how nice the place looked. They have a good selection of wine and they have a bar for mix drinks. The service was very nice and the owner/chief was just so willing to help and please us. Very highly recommend trying this place out!

The more I think about my dinner last Saturday night, the angrier I am becoming by it. I discussed my dinner choice with the waitress. She assured me that I could have what I asked for. My dinner was not as ordered. I did not ask for anything additional - I asked for less. I wanted no sauce - dry stuffed sole with vegetables. The plate arrived - 5 mins. before the rest of my party's meals - with butter sauce all over everything on the plate, even the bottom of the vegetables were drenched in it. Even my salad was incorrect. I asked for Thousand Island dressing on the side. I was served a salad with Italian dressing that had been spilled all over the lettuce and vegetables in the bowl. By the time I realized I had been served the wrong salad, black pepper, which I do not eat, had already been ground all over my salad, so all I could do was trade the dressings. I left the restaurant having paid $80.00 for 3 meals and all I ate was 1/2 the salad, 1 slice of zucchini (after I scraped the butter sauce off it), 2 slices of potato (after I scraped the butter sauce off it), and one small slice of bread. I could not even eat the "Complimentary" brucchetta because it was covered in black pepper. My brother-in-law was told that he would not be charged for one of his glasses of wine because of my meal, yet I still paid $80.00 for my portion of the bill and I received nothing for that. I will not return to that restaurant.
