This place has been here for years. I moved to the area in 1992 and started going there on occasion for breakfast in 2001. It's a cheap dive diner. A truckers paradise, but would not really reccommend it for anything more than a greasy spoon breakfast. They have a ton of things on the menu and have tried more than breakfast, but.. didn't care for what I ordered. LIke chicken croquettes, veal marsala, meatloaf.. you know mostly what you find at any other diner across the U.S. The breakfast ,if you don't get it on a special, it is expensive...I guess every diner is pretty much 7 to8 dollars for bacon and eggs. I hadn't been to Dallas diner for oh I would say 2 or so years and decided I would go and try their country fried steak and eggs. ( I kinda took a liking to it years ago, but for the price of it.. you would think you were getting filet and egss). So my daughter and I went to breakfast and both got the country fried steak and eggs. The country fried steak was soooo oily their was at least a teaspoon of oil on the plate. The eggs, were actually cooked correctly and the home fries tasted like they were soaked in the oil.. The coffee there is the same as any diner, bitter and tasteless. The waitress was very attentive and very nice. That is the reason for the 2 stars as the food only really warrants a half star. It's a shame because in this end of Levittown, it is pretty much the only diner but Golden Dawn. Oh, and one last thing, their is a sign that says free WiFi, my daughter tried to get it and it didn't show up.

Excellent prices, good quantity for the price. I eat a cheeseburger for breakfast, I was surprised that it came with fries, pickle, cole slaw and a cup of soup. My 2.5 year old even liked the food. Will be adding this to my goto places for food. things for them to improve upon, amount of seating in their main dining room. less is more, wish it seemed more intimate, had less tables. decor could be updated as well.

Since we had a late afternoon appointment by the time we returned home I decided to take the family out for dinner, it was a Monday night and the restaurant was rather quiet ( not many customers ) the waitress Gloria was just outstanding , she bought over huge portions for our meal, as usual the food was very good and the prices were equally as good. My wife's crab cakes actually had real crab meat in them , my Rueben was so big even Andre' the giant couldn't finish that open faced sandwich and our son's shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection, You should make the trip and stop in here for a real local treasure .

Dave the waiter was great he earned the star, food was not. Veal parm with bone grizzle, ouch. Pasta Sauce was like water, cheese bread was so hot from the microwave I burned my mouth. I won't be back.

Their marinara tastes like chef boyardee. Their food is bland and cold. I sometimes wonder if all the cars in the parking lot are planted there by the owner. When i went in there were only two tables occupied with a packed parking lot. What a joke. How are they open?

Horrible, greasy food. Overpriced. Outdated environment. Unfriendly staff. Not like it was when I was a kid.

The service was excellent. the food was good but not great. Plenty of it. We went on a restaurant.com coupon and the bill for 3 after the coupon was $44 with a 30% tip on the full bill for the server. Included a sauteed mushroom appetizer which doubled as a nice sauce for my mom's scallops and mashed potatoes. I had a french onion soup with a great ruben sandwich. My wife got the bean soup with a cobb salad. Also brought home 4 desserts, peanut butter cake, blueberry pie, red velvet cake, and strawberry shortcake. They also had great early bird specials that I couldn't get if I wanted to use my coupon. I'm visiting this area, so not sure when I would return, but I would definitely go there again.

Had the country fried steak and eggs, the fried steak was frozen deep fried black hockey puck. Server notice my disappointment (she wasn't my waitress cause my server was related to the owner and didn't seem understand my disappointment) she she said is everything alright, I replied by saying this s@^ks. She seem to really to understand and had me reslect my order. Got the monte Cristo not great either. Tip the other waitress and 10 percent to my server. Take the extra time and go to the Golden Eagle down the street.

We where in the area for work for a few days and eat there twice. The foods good and lots of it. Great value for the money. It is a dinner so don't expect fine dining, but as far as dinner goes I liked it. Good old feel good food. The staff was very friendly, too. I would go back again!

It had been many years since I visited Dallas. It used to be pretty good. Not anymore. First clue should have been the dessert display, which only had dessert in half of it. The rest was taken up by tacky cases of Red Bull and Monster cans. The specials were relatively inexpensive and came with a lot of food, but there was nothing that appealed to me. My companion had been wanting liver and onions for a while and knew that's what she was ordering. I dove into the rest of the menu, actually looking for an old diner standard, Chicken Francaise. Nope. Fried or broiled half chicken (I only eat breast meat); chicken tenders; chicken tettrazini; stuffed chicken; chicken & rice soup... Nope. OK - a burger? Not any of the ones on this menu, all of which came with really weird toppings. Omelet? Not exactly the meal I was looking forward to. I ordered a diet cola with lemon. My companion ordered carrot-raisin salad and mashed potatoes as her sides; New England clam chowder as her soup and a fruit cup for her salad. When the waiter returned with our drinks, we were informed that they were out fruit cups. Really? She ordered a Greek salad, instead. Soup arrived first. The gelatinous broth was so heavily thickened with cornstarch, her spoon literally stood up in the bowl. She took one spoonful and said "This doesn't resemble clam chowder in any way, shape or form." Bread (a cinnamon bun and a bread-stick with a bowl of marina) arrived with the salad. I tore off the end of the bread-stick and dipped it in the sauce, knowing it wouldn't be good (diners in general don't get Italian sauces right), but this was beyond bad. I immediately grabbed my napkin and spit it out. Chef Boyardee makes a better tomato sauce. She ate a few bites of the salad, but once the four olives and two anchovies were gone, gave up on it. She was afraid to try the almost slimy-looking feta cheese (which made me doubly glad I didn't order the spinach and feta omelet I briefly considered). The liver and sides arrived. The equally gelatinous gravy on the mashed potatoes was a color not found in nature, looking more like something that had been made by NASA. The carrot-raisin salad sat in a puddle of a strange, pale orange, milky dressing and contained two visible raisins. The liver... well, let's say this: I've seen tastier looking shoe soles. Cooked to within an inch of its life, she said it was like "liver jerky without any flavor." Conversely, the sauteed onions s were barely cooked and glistening with grease. When the waiter came by and asked how her food was, she said "Lousy. Here, take this and feed it to the dogs." The meal was comped, though the only apology came from the waiter. No manager came over to talk to us and while I'm pretty sure the manager/owner rang up my $2.00 diet cola, he didn't once look me in the eye. Worst food in Bucks County. The place is dirty (there were dead bugs on the windowsill of our booth and assorted splashes of dried sauces on the wall) and seedy. The menu is half the size of other area diners and the food has no business being called 'food.' Avoid at all costs.

As far as diners go, this one is the best in the area. The prices are lower than the other diners, and the menu has many pages. For breakfast I love anything with poached eggs, they are perfect every time. They have the best pea soup, and I love having it with a hot ham sandwich. My hubby has really enjoyed the French dip sandwich and their Turkish entrees. Also, the bakery is wonderful. Sometimes they have baked apples which are the best thing ever. The apple is peeled and cored and filled with cinnamon sugar then coated in pastry dough and served warm with a creamy custard sauce. Yumm-o!
