I LOVE this place!! Every time I order whether it's on the phone or in person, they are very helpful and polite and really nice. Just what I expect from any place I patronize. Now about the food, I've been ordering from here for years, since a friend told me about them and everything I've ever ordered, from cheese steaks, stromboli and pizza it has all been delicious. Definitely worth every penny!!

Hats off to Chris and his crew! Giving the Italians a run for their money because their homemade spaghetti sauce makes Colonial Kitchen a weekly destination for takeout. Efkharisto!

Good food, and great prices. My family who moved out of town will still go here and order a crazy amount of Philly cheesesteaks to freeze and take home. Cashiers could be friendlier, have kind of gone down hill over the years, but the food is worth the trip.

Exceptional service, kind people, great food! We were visiting from out of town for the Army Navy football game, and stopped here for dinner afterwards. We enjoyed the pizza, wings, and fried mushrooms. Our favorite was the white pizza - delicious! After dinner, we tried to leave, but realized we couldn't find our car keys and were afraid they were locked in the car. The kind employees all recommended the best people to call to get the car unlocked, looked up numbers for us, and let us wait inside. Once the car was open, we still couldn't find the keys. We started searching the street in case they were dropped and arranging for a tow truck. Once again the staff was awesome. They were outside helping us look, recommending tow trucks, and being so kind. One of their former employees was eating dinner there and even was kind enough to give two of our group a ride back to the hotel to get our other car. (Cabs had a 1.5 hour wait due to the game.) We eventually found the keys in the street, but what I remember most about the experience was the kindness from all the people at Colonial Kitchen. Thank you!

I've been ordering from here for the past 2 years! Definitely the best delivery food available in the area. I started out only ordering chicken cheese steaks & pizza which are both REALLY good. A couple days ago I wanted something different so I ordered the turkey burger platter with curly fries & coleslaw $9 w/ delivery charge. Absolutely delicious!! I'm almost mad I didn't step out of my comfort zone sooner. Well done guys well done!! I also order online, it's super easy & delivery is always quick.

I've lived in the area for almost 10 years and have maybe patronized this establishment about 3 or 4 times and that was about 3 years ago. I am not a fan of the food and in fact, the restaurant about a block up from them has better food in my opinion. The last thing I had gotten from Colonial was a chicken cheese steak and it was thick cuts of marinated chicken breasts which I don't care for. The on another occasion I ordered a calzone that was nothing more than a stromboli.

New Favorite Pizza Delivery!!! I have been ordering pizza in this area for over 7 years, and this place is the BEST so far! EASY ORDERING: First of all, I LOVE the online ordering system. It was easy to get exactly what we wanted and track the order while we waited. I even got 10% off because it was my first online order! QUICK DELIVERY: The estimated delivery time said 30-40 minutes, but they were knocking at my door in about 20! And the food was hot! YUMMY FOOD: We ordered a small pizza, 1/2 BBQ Chicken and the other 1/2 Buffalo Chicken. The sauce on each was flavorful and just the right amount. There was a nice amount of chicken and this pizza could have easily fed 2 people. We also ordered a large White Pizza w/sausage. It was covered in toasted Italian sausage crumbles and garlic! The crust was crisp and buttery, with just the right amount of cheese. It was SOOO good!

My boyfriend and I used to order from here 2-3 times a week. We mostly did delivery (which we graciously tipped the drivers $5 EVERY SINGLE TIME) with a rare pickup here and there. Honestly we saw a huge change when one of the counter girls seemed to have left. I wish I knew her name but she was always super kind, actually listened when we were giving our order and knew the menu. The last 10 or so times we ordered we were getting a different gal who seemed very annoyed from the second she answered the phone. We were never difficult with her, never gave her an attitude, never huffed and puffed as she did on the other end. Not only was she rude but our orders started being consistently incorrect (a problem we had NEVER experienced previously). Forgetting the roll that comes with our dinner, Us asking for a hoagie with no onions but pickles added and it arriving with literally just roll, meat, cheese and pickles(since when does saying no onions mean leave EVERYTHING else off!?!), deliveries started taking longer which resulted in warm soggy food, and so on. I know some of these things may sound petty but after 2 years of ordering from them it was very obvious that something had seriously changed. We were very good, loyal customers. I hope that in the future they get better help so that they don't continue to lose business.

15 years ago, there was a place named Family Style Pizza, in Yeadon. They had the best pizza I'd ever had. The family sold the place and the new owners ruined the pizza and the name of the business. This place is the closest thing I've ever tasted. I work in the area, and for five years I've searched for a good pizza pie. Colonial Kitchen has solved my quest. The crust is flaky and buttery, the pie isn't too soggy, the cheese is balanced, and the toppings are great. This place is so good, I ordered from them TWICE in the same week. I almost ordered for a THIRD time tonight. I can't wait to order from them again.

I ordered from here on a Saturday nite the girl that answered the phone was beyond friggin rude. When the food arrived it was AWFUL. I don't know how else to explain it. The wings were like rubber the pizza was soggy and bland. I won't ever be ordering from this dump again.

They were fast with the delivery. My food was still hot when it arrives. Not warm like most places. We ordered their pizza Gyro and soup. Everything was very good. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

I originally gave this place five stars, but after a few months. I've had some rush job pizzas that were so so, I still consider this place the Best for this area. And some of the counter women, just flat out non friendly, the delivery guy has this scary pick up truck it's kind of a turn off judging the appearance. However pizza and chicken cheese streaks are pretty good

I've been ordering from here for years and it's really gone downhill. When you order a calzone, you should get a calzone, not a stromboli. ..umm not the same thing. But when they finally get the order right, you get a sparingly swipe if ricotta cheese. A calzone should be stuffed with ricotta....idiots! The counter girls....R.U.D.E.....no matter if it's on the phone or if you go in to pick up, they're arrogant little prisses who stare you down like you wrote on the bathroom wall about them in high school. Grow up! Also, if anyone has ever noticed when picking up, these people don't wear gloves when making your food, or hats or hair nets. I'm certified in the food industry, and I know AS A FACT, all employees must wear gloves and have a hair restraint at all times when in the food prep areas! Gross! Last weekend, I ordered 2 meatball subs. Instead I got a roll with sliced meatballs! Who slices meatballs?? When I order a meatball sub, I want meat BALLS, not some disgusting slices that used to be meatballs! Not to menton, these strange slices of mystery meat didn't even fill the roll....so I paid 7 odd dollars a piece for tomato sauce bread. CROOKS!! STOP ORDERING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Out of this world amazing food. We drive from the city to get food from here regularly. Hard workers, great food.

I grew up around the corner from Colonial Kitchen, so it was the only place we'd get food. I used to think it was the best food, until I had food at other places The salads are really good and hearty, but the appetizers are always soggy and lacking in flavor. The chicken fingers have too much breading and the hoagies are covered in oregano (even when you ask for NO oregano). Add insult to injury, the females that answer the phone always have an attitude, like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. By ordering, I'm giving you business, so you can get paid at the end of the week. Make sense? I think if they changed the quality of their product, I'd have a better outlook on them.

Honestly it's one of my favorite places to order from when I want something simple. I have never ordered an entree, so I can't honestly comment on that. I've ordered burgers, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, cheesesteaks, pizzas, stromboli, and calzone and I have loved all of these. Their pizza crusts are crunchy and the sausage (if you choose to order that) has a spicy kick to it! As a resident of the greater Philadelphia area, I can tell you that Colonial has one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. I don't know what it is about it, but when I think cheesesteaks I think Colonial. Also Chris, one of the Greek owners, is always very friendly!

I had 2 beef gyros while the wife had a vegetarian calzone. Both were excellent and made with fresh vegetables, with a great taste. Service was friendly, efficient and quick. Really liked this place and hope to eat here again soon.

I swear these folks make that food with all of the love in the world...I've never had pizza so good that it made me want to run out into the street and yell to the neighborhood about it. I, sinfully, had their chicken bbq pizza and mild wings one night. Guess what, it was so tasty that I went back the next night and had the chicken cheese steak and bbq wings AND shamefully patroned the third night in a row for the 5 cheese pizza and more wings....WOW!!! I've never eaten somewhere three nights in a row. Not only is there food exceptional but the service was quick and they were friendly to myself and others from the neighborhood that I observed. When I am back in the Philly area, I will definitely frequent Colonial Kitchen again. Oh, and add a Root Beer to your order....ppppppperfection!

Colonial Kitchen has been serving the community of Lansdowne/Upper Darby since 1975. It's not a huge place, but they do serve huge steaks. Last I lunched here, I ate so much meat I was literally SWEATING meat the next day. You can find hoagies, grinders, and other Italian dishes such as strombolis and pizza (baked fresh in-house daily). Colonial also cooks seafood, but I've never tried any. Prices are reasonable and the staff are super friendly. Worth a trip if you're in the area!

I order from here once a week. I love their upside down pizza. Their small hoagies/steaks are gigantic! You should see the sz of the large! I just ate a chicken teriyaki wrap and it was delicious! The crab cakes are okay, I wouldnt order them again. I love their Gyros and Gryro Wraps! Their menu has so many items on it and you can order online! colonialkitchenpizza.com I put this here because googling it took me a while to find it. Delivery is pretty quick. I did have a pc of wood in a pizza slice one time from the mushrooms. Called the manager and he put on my account a free pizza for next time! They did honor it too! Great Place. Great Food! Fast Delivery & Online Ordering! What more can you ask for!

My absolute favorite take-out & delivery place, always the first food I get whenever I get home from a long trip away. Well priced, fantastic food and a friendly helpful staff. They're always having some kind of special and have a great selection of dishes for whatever you're in the mood for. The gyro's and the 5 cheese pizza are the best!

The best quesadilla's I've had. I usually get the Honey Dijon chicken quesadilla. It's a good portion for about $8.00. I'm always satisfied when I order...

This place is pretty good, it has been around for over 30 years so they must be doing something right. I mostly go here for convenience, I live a block away. I also enjoy the new service of being able to order online.

My family and I order from here a lot. The staff is nice and their pizza its sooo good. Oddly we also love it the next day as a left over (we think it tastes even better!) I have several other food selections and all have been good.

Service isn't too good. The girls that answers the phones have bad attitudes. I called in one time asked for a cheese steak. I told her "no onions" because previously they gave me onions.. The female over the phone said "you don't have to tell me that" and she was nasty. When I picked up my order guess what.... I had onions. I took it back and she said I took the wrong one.. Um you gave me the wrong one... But As far as the food, they have the good pizzas, salads, and cheese steaks. Not a fan of the buffalo wings though.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
