Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

This is a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria in a tiny strip on Horsham road near the Giant. I think it is best pizza in Horsham, very consistent in its quality. The slices are large too. Our favorites are the Taco pizza and the Hawaiian. I'll drive 10 minutes from home, passing many other options, just to go to Pizza Plaza.

My husband and I have been on the search for good basic pizza in the area and have yet to find a place -- until Pizza Plaza. Our biggest gripe is that the store is about 15 minutes away from our house so if we decide to go from home (we were on our way home and passing by last night when when we decided to try them out), we'd really have to haul it on the way home to still have hot pizza by the time we arrived. The pizza was perfect -- reasonably priced, perfect crust, delicious sauce. Everything that I've been looking for in local pizza. I was also impressed with the woman who answered the phone. She was very pleasant and friendly. A lot of times when you call a pizza place they're very short with you -- not the case here. She was super nice! I highly recommend Pizza Plaza! Check them out!

Pizza - darn good, the sauce has just the right amount of sweet and spice, good amount of cheese, toppings are plentiful - they do not skimp but they charge too much for individual toppings. Chicago pizza is a bit too doughy. Calzones and Strombolis are fantastic. Paninis are tasty but on the small side Steak sandwiches are good, they use a great roll (not the overly doughy rolls). Hoagies are very good. Good quality lunch-meats and cheeses, tuna salad is not overly mayo, toppings are plentiful and flavorful. Love their fries, I am a huge french fry fan and most places in this area use lousy fries, not these guys. Delivery is usually very good, food is always at least warm when it arrives. I'd like to see more non-meat options available. It would be nice to see them offer a non-meat 'burger' type sandwich and maybe other beefless/chickenless products available for more veg friendly eating and would set them apart from the other pizza places.

Great place for a good thin slice. Wings are just as good. They have some weekly lunch specials that seem to be a good deal, but they don't really have a great looking eat in area.

love this place as a easy/quick lunch or late dinner option. I love thin crust pizza and this place delivers! the sauce was a nice balance of sweet/robust. The staff is very friendly and the food was served quickly. One of my favorite places when I come to town for business and don't want to spend $$$.

If you've ever ordered Papa John's and had that one corner of the pizza that tastes like that green pepper that you wish they'd stop putting in the box since it ruins the pizza and is soaked into the crust, that's basically what this tastes like. Add to it the fact that when I went, there were five children from the shop staff walking around with one throwing a football in my direction and you have an experience which makes me wish I went to Tonellis instead.

You want good pizza? Come here! The crust is crispy and the flavors are amazing. I recommend the following toppings: BBQ chicken, buffalo chicken and cheese steaks.

Best pizza in the area. Pizza Plaza is a family run pizza shop with many locations. The family is from Guatemala and are very friendly. I like my pizza with a sweet style sauce and thats why I love Pizza Plaza. Their sauce has a slight sweetness to it, putting it over the top. My favorites are a Pepperoni, or the Taco pizza. Their wings are also great. Nice size and meaty. They also make delicious pasta dinners. I recommend the vodka rigatoni. It has a really good homemade sauce. I do have one warning.... Be careful if you order the Chicao Style Pizza's. They are not a deep dish pizza like you get in chicago. It's just a round shaped sicilian (thick crust).

With a friendly staff, great food and quick service, this area is the best in class for the area. On top of that it easily has the area's best buffalo chicken pizza!

Been hearing about this place for a while and finally stopped in and tried their pizza. As a Long Island, NY guy - I am very picky about the pizza that I eat. This place was very good! Had their pepperoni pie which had a fair amount of meat (could have been a little more generous) the crust, sauce and cheese was well balanced and tasty. Best of all, the service was extremely fast and friendly and the pizza was hot and ultimately very good. I will be sure to try them again and looking forward to trying more off their very extensive menu!

I had a horrible hankering for their buffalo chicken pizza in the middle of a blizzard, and although i am not proud of it, I had to order a pizza. Not only were they open, but more than happy to deliver! Pizza Plaza is the best!

We tried a couple large pies, a chicken parmigiana and a cheese steak to be specific. We also wanted some cheese garlic bread, but the phone operator misunderstood and we were brought mozzarella sticks instead. Not a big deal, we like cheese sticks, but they're a bit overpriced ($4.75 for five - no sauce). The pizza comes in large foldable slices and toppings are relatively generous. However, they're also fairly bland. The parmigiana was quite unassuming and the cheesesteak lacked any real kick. I'd try them again, but not with those pies. The delivery time was about 40 minutes which I consider adequate.

A true gem in a crappy looking strip mall. Their pizza is thin and crispy. Best lunch deal in town...2 slices and a soda for $5.
