Good thin crust pizza. We went here once and only had the thin crust pizza so thats all I can speak for. I wasn't impressed with the ice tea that other people said was so good, nothing special. We were just passing through this town on our way to Syracuse, NY and decided to stop in for lunch. There was nobody here Friday at 1pm. Another couple came as we were leaving. The pizza is good if you're on the road and need a fast goto spot. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. It's not NYC style pizza, nothing like Joe's, John's, Bleeker st, etc. The thin crust pie was good but just average. Maybe all the five star reviews are from people who live in this small town and this is the best pizza shop they have. Tomorrow we will have utica greens pizza at Francesca's Italian Kitchen in Liverpool, NY. Check it out if you want to know about a very good pizza place.

Wine was warm, pizza cool. Service ok. No sauce with the onion rings. Veggie Pizza was tasty despite no sauce. The Pork Heaven was very good.

What was once a good little pizza place has long descended into hell over the past three years, first with the advent of selling beer and wine for both carry out (thus attracting the white trash and wino demographic) and dine-in, and then with "expanding" their dining area, which was followed by a severe decline in food quality (so severe that the eaten food's reluctance to remain in one's intestines for more than 20 minutes is prevalent every time). This pizzeria used to be the best local-owned one in town for the standard round and Sicilian pans; now it's just one that can't go out of business fast enough.

My boyfriend and I ate here while staying the night in Hazelton. My eggplant parm was fresh and cheesy, probably the best I've ever had. My boyfriend says his salad was great, nice and cheesy and fresh (grilled chicken and cheese salad). Great place to eat if you're in town!

Although it has changed a little, the pie is still one of the best in town. Extra cheese and pepperoni is the way to go.

Pizza and hoagies are nothing special. What I really love from Vesuvios are their sausage rolls. Also, on the plus side, the staff is very friendly.

This was my favorite pizza place while growing up in Hazleton. Either going during the week for lunch or dinner or back in the day after a football game, Vesuvio's was the place to be. While people were making their laps while cruising downtown, people always seemed to make a stop here. There wasn't anything on the menu I didn't like. The problem was deciding on what to get each time I was her. My favorites were the Stromboli's, hoagies and of coarse the pizza. The food was always constant no matter when you went of who was cooking, quality was definitely a main focus. Having the different slices and stomboli pieces in the window is a plus. Look at the many options and trying a small portion before getting an entire "pie". Something that is not offered in my current city. The staff who was mostly family growing up and adding new employees over the years are always friendly and helpful. I miss coming here and being able to talk with the owners on a regular basis but when I'm in town I always stop in for a "slice and a tea" and talking with the owners who I grew up there with.

We ordered the stuffed veggie pizza for delivery. Delivery takes while. The pizza was huge, was good and soooooo filling. You never see handmade crust like that anymore. I would have given it more stars if the veggies had been fresh vs. Frozen. That would have really tipped it in. Still, a good meal.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
