Beware if you are a tourist! We ordered three pies, salad and few other items. The lady (older woman prolly owns the place too) gave us a total amount and charged our card. When we asked for a breakdown of the items or a bill, she took the longest time to create a bill to match the total she charged us. Eventually the breakdown and the amount charged never matched. Close but never matched. The food is ok and pizza is two or three star worthy. Not a place of you want to get ripped off for below average pizza!

We are so lucky to have great Italian food of this quality in Hawley Pa. We have eaten there many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The pasta , pizza and hero's are really great. The owners are from Italy and know how to make great food. If you are in the area you need to go there and have a fantastic meal. Chicken Parm might be my favorite.

Very disappointed after reading such good reviews. I don't usually post on yelp but since all the positive reviews drew me to this place I figured I'd post my experience. Pizza here was terrible- dry crackery crust under mediocre sauce and cheese. If that wasn't bad enough, I ordered two slices of plain but they must have been out so they gave me two slices of pepperoni with the pepperoni picked off I guess thinking I wouldn't notice. I hate pepperoni and felt like they should have just said they were out of plain slices. I would have happily ordered something else! Also we asked for balsamic vinaigrette on our salad and they gave us a cup of straight balsamic vinegar- weird. I love pizza and this was the worst I've had in a very long time.

BYOB My family and I ate here last night and agreed that this was the best pizza we'd ever had. The owners and cooks are Italian and know how to cook great Italian food. We ordered mussels, garlic knots, veggie pizza, margarita pizza & pepperoni pizza. Everything was awesome! I wish they'd open a pizza shop where we live. One more thing...the comment about sloppy/floppy pizza is incorrect. The crust was thin-medium & crisp....Perfection!!!

Usually a 30 minute wait for pizza. Lived in a college town that was a 15 minute wait for great pizza. Have called a few times & while on hold they've hung up. Would rather go to Mike's.

The pizza was amazing. We got the small, it was more like a medium. Really great thin crust, wonderful flavor and freshness. The mushroom and plain pizzas were very flavorful. We will be return customers!

The pizza is really good and not with the "for the Mountains" caveat! Similar to S NJ/Philly pizza I love. Have had many pizzas from here. Very consistent. Not a lot of oven space so allow plenty of time. Request your pizza well done.

Have eaten here and taken out from J&L's for years and the food is always GREAT! All the dishes are fresh, hot, and good portions. Salads are good and the cannoli's are superlative. And let's not forget they make good pizza.
