Pros: Huge portions Great tasting food Local Large menu with lots of food Staff was friendly (after we initiated conversation..but I can see how some may get the snobby/only regulars get a nice welcome impression) Cons: Cash only Very small dining area Small parking lot, but allot of metered street parking. We moved to Hawley almost a year ago and never tried Fluff's till last night. We were weary because they got mixed reviews. Most saying good food, but bad service. We tried it anyways and we are glad we did. The food was fantastic, and cheap. After striking up conversations with the owner and staff, they became very friendly and courteous. The dining area is pretty small (3 booths and 3 tables) but the restrooms were clean so that was a plus. Overall it was well worth it!

Fluff's is one of my favorite places for a hearty lunch or yummy egg sandwich for breakfast. The helpings are always generous. Many of the homemade soups are so delicious! Dining area is a little chilly in the winter since people are always coming and going. Very nice "hometown diner."

Fluffs is gone, all new crew, improved atmosphere, open till 8 now, huge new menu, so far I've hit them for breakfast twice, hit the spot, no complaints! Gonna take a while to get thru the new menu. you WILL find something you like. My wife and I will try BYOB night next and their steak skills, lol!

This place is great. We were looking for some food to bring with us to the "beach area" at the lake, so I yelped it up to find this place. I asked them what their specialty was and they told me cheesesteaks so of course I went with that. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Very filling and probably a ton of calories I shouldn't be eating before showing the world my bikini but HEY you live once, right. I got the regular cheesesteak with peppers and onions. People in my group got chicken cheesesteaks and some other sandwiches. Everyone left very satisfied. They lost one star b/c it did take awhile to get our food, and it came out in random order. THey have a small parking lot in front and some indoor and outdoor seating.

I have to say that I've been passing this place for 10 years and decided to go in this morning. AWESOME food and great owner. Fluff cooked my breakfast and people kept coming in and were friendly. I had a nice conversation with an older couple. Fluff said that it's like the old show Cheers, where everyone knows your name and they yell at "Norm" (well your name) when you come in. I recommend this place.

Got and egg sandwich with bacon , maybe because It was nearing lunchtime but the bacon tasted Like the grease on the griddle could use a good Cleaning. Other than that friendly enough, fair prices Cool little place .

DO NOT eat here if you are of any colored ethnicity, as they are RACIST. Now, before anyone begins disputing against this comment, I'd like to formally elaborate. My boyfriend and I took a trip to PA last weekend and this just so happened to be the first place we had stopped by to eat. First of all when we walk in the waitress looks at us like we're aliens, doesn't offer us a seat or coffee, just asks us what we want. My boyfriend orders a grilled cheese, nothing for me. We sit there for about 10-15min and the food isn't even brought to our table. Instead, the waitress walks by and goes "Your grilled cheese is ready by the way" After who knows how many minutes it was ready for. Now, growing up in New York I've eaten in many places, but I've NEVER heard of any kind of diner or deli doing that. Not to mention, the sandwich was put into a bag in tin foil. MY BOYFRIEND NEVER SAID IT WAS TO GO. Second time we had stopped by was when we were leaving back to New York. The bus stop just so happened to be across this place and I really needed to use the bathroom. Again, we walk in, feel the awkward atmosphere, and as I asked to use their bathroom I can just feel that they don't want me there. To make matters more obvious, after I'm finished, the owner, or whomever she was, tells us we should go wait for the bus outside ..... Okay. But why can't I wait in your diner? I have all these bags and you're really making me wait outside in the cold? Listen, I'm Dominican and I've lived in New York since I was 3. Needless to say, I'm pretty Americanized. I've never encountered any kind of racism until i went into this place. They were just rude and I highly believe it was because of the color of my skin. Otherwise I wouldn't have felt that kind of vibe. I'm simply reviewing how I was treated here and how I view it as ignorance. Are people upstate more racist? Do they not know NYC is the most diverse city in the world? I just don't get it. I love my ethnicity and I'm not racist against Caucasians so why are you towards me? I was never treated this way and I advise anyone of color to go, just so you see what I'm talking about. Though they'll probably change their attitude if they read this review. Doubt it. Whatever. Gave em one star for the decent grilled cheese, though if I had to rate customer service I'd be a 0. Surprised they even let me use their bathroom to be honest.

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way to the inn up the road. We had no idea what to expect. It's a small, casual place with a nice, varied menu and good prices. The portions are hearty. We had the chicken salad, which was delicious, and the Frankie's Inferno, which was unique and yummy!! Fluff was friendly and cheerful. This is a fun, down-home place with real food. If we lived in the area, I'm sure we'd be regulars! We will visit again next time we are passing through.

I ordered a chef salad to go, it filled a take out container full very tasty lots of meat on the salad. I will go again. Every one needs to try Fluff's. In the past I had Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll. The rolls are fresh and very good. They put just the right amount of everything on the sandwich.

We come in from NYC a couple of times a year & I have to say that Fluff's is one of those places that we look forward to. It's not fancy but she makes one mean Quesadilla, love it, love it, love it! The place is immaculate, the service is friendly the prices are right, the portions are very generous, and the food is really good. Continued success to one hard working woman!
