I can't get across how bad the food was, my wife and I both ordered General Tso's. It was the worst that I have ever eaten. The Meat was un-chewable. Sometimes you get a piece that is tough but this made me wonder if the cat population has decreased in the neighborhood. The sauce was also, almost beyond description. I did get hot and sour soup that was good but it didn't make up for the rest. Save your money or if your hungry, eat the container.

wow, where do I start. I hate to give one star but this was the worse chinese food I ever had. First I ended up with some piece of scouring pad material in my mouth. Cut my gums and pulled out this almost 2 inch long piece of spiraled steel from my mouth. It was part of what they used to scrub the wok. Then I felt something else weird in my mouth and it was 2 pieces of round cardboard cut outs, like something from a 3 hole punch. The wonton soup broth was so salty I had to spit it out and I like things salty. It was like sea water salty. The won tons were tough and chewy and not fresh at all. The main meal would have been just ok but I do not like metal and cardboard in my food. This place should be happy I am just leaving a one star review and not sue them. My mouth is sore, had blood from the cut. Thank God I had a teatnus shot last year.

I've had my fair share of ghetto Chinese food from Philly so this review might be a little biased. Was craving Chinese fried chicken so I ordered from this place. The food arrived right on time and I was pretty stoked. Chicken wings were pretty standard so that satisfied my craving. However, everything else was sub-par. The fried rice side that came with it was tasteless and unappetizing. The wonton soup tasted like water with msg. As to the limited options for delivery in this area, I would probably order from them again but just stick with the chicken wings.

I hate to give any place just 1 star. I ordered food today at 1:45pm. It is snowing outside and New China is just 0.2 miles from where I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express. it is 3:34pm and I still have not received my food. I have called about 5 times, each time being told it would be here shortly, and once the man on the phone told me the driver got stuck in traffic. I asked what traffic since they are only 0.2 miles away. I can't rate the food as it hasn't arrived, but the service doesn't even deserve 1 star. I will not be tipping.

So I ordered from here on Saturday night. And I am talking about 9:00PM!! The person that answered my phone and took my order (for delivery) was excellent. She was very easy to understand and very pleasant. She gave me my total and informed me that it may take up to 40min. IT TOOK 20 MIN.!!! WOOHOO!!! The food was soooo good and still HOT!!! The gentleman that delivered was very nice also. My order was $17.44 and unknowingly I was eligible to get 2 free eggrolls or sodas (not mentioned on the phone). He brought me 2 of each!! And stated since I wasn't asked when I ordered he just brought both, FREE OF CHARGE!! Originally I was going to hand him a $20 and tell him to keep the change ($2.56 Tip) but after that I asked him to hold on for a moment, I grabbed my wallet and handed him 3 more $$! I told my boyfriend when he got home about my experience and he agreed with me that FROM NOW ON......WE WILL ORDER FROM NEW CHINA EXPRESS!!

Basic cheap Chinese food - ample portions, typical flavors and priced at what you would expect - $8-$10 for a dinner entre (serves 2 people easiely). Basic dining room if youre inclined to eat in. Food was made in about 15 mins.

Probably the worst chinese food ive ever eaten. Ordered Bourban chicken, it was chewier than bubble yum gum. The sauce was absolutely vomit inducing. The rice was not bad and fried shrimp wasn't bad, but wasnt completely peeled. "Cocktail sauce" was KETCHUP!!! (literally ketchup)

We came here for a quick lunch and have no real complaints. It is pretty standard fare for your hole in the wall Chinese place. I got sesame chicken and my wife got garlic chicken. The food was okay - nothing special. If you're in the immediate vicinity (in this shopping center) and want Chinese food right now, then sure. Otherwise, there are other places that are better.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
