Sushi? Delivered? I'm definitely a fan! I've tried Wasabii twice now: once for sushi delivery, and once for hibachi lunch. I have zero complaints about my sushi experience. I tried the chirashi, and even for takeout, it was arranged beautifully. At $20, it wasn't cheap, but that's a reasonable price for the quantity and quality-- it was actually a very generous portion of fish, and a lot less expensive than it would have been to order the equivalent amount of sushi and sashimi. I was slightly less impressed with the hibachi, but overall we enjoyed it. Our grill-master wasn't the most entertaining, but overall did a good job. (Although, why do they throw zucchini at you instead of shrimp? Shrimp is both tastier than zucchini when you catch it and less painful when you don't and it hits you in the eyeball). I loved the fried rice and vegetables, but was slightly disappointed in the salmon-- raw's the better route for fish here, for sure. My husband's and friend's filet mignons looks great, though. The gyoza and edamame we tried weren't exceptional but lived up to expectations. The lunch deals were very reasonable, ranging from $10 up to $14 for the filet-- plus they come with soup, salad, and overall way more than you need at lunch anyway. The place itself is modern, pretty and clean-- don't let the highway-next-to-Pizza-Hut location deter you. Definitely a new great spot for Greensburg!

We were rather unimpressed with Wasabii. While the decor is wonderful, the food is mediocre. My biggest issue was that neither of our chicken dishes tasted like high quality chicken. When I'm paying around $15 per dish, I expect tender and flavorful chicken. Sadly, the chicken was tough and stringy. It also had a bit of a strange taste. The meat just isn't the quality it should be for the prices that they're asking. To their credit, though, the sauces are really good. Needless to say, we're done with Wasabii. There are much better, and more affordable, alternatives in the Greensburg area.

I found this to be one of the best hibachi restaurants I've visited. The hibachi food was great, as was the sushi. And we visited on a Sunday, so the kids meals were only $1. I wish we had that kind of deal near our home. We will come back next time we're in the area.

Very tasty! It was our first time here and we were even more excited there was a groupon. The staff was very nice. My niece enjoyed watching the chef cook in front of us. There were actually lots of kids at the restaurant. The crab salad was ok. I prefer my kani with some spicy mayo. The wasabi roll was excellent. Very fresh and filling. I tried my husbands hibachi steak and shrimp. Excellent. Will definitely return.

Sushi was excellent! Fresh, tasty, and priced well. Amazing selection of rolls. I ordered three rolls in my party and we enjoyed each one. Also had general tsos chicken which was good Will always go back for sushi.

When with my friends and their son who initially recommended Wasabi. Busy on a Friday night. 2nd visit this week. Most patrons seem to be regulars here. Our hosts Wayne and David were very gracious. Our waitress most attentive. My first impression was how wonderful if you want a unique dining experience, David and Wayne will go out of their way to accommodate your request if at all possible. Just call ahead. I was hoping for Uni but not tonight...no worries guys. I'll be back! And will call ahead. We had the gigantic fresh oysters, a super nice surprised lieu of the Uni. Served on the half shell with a nice mild soy base sauce with a finely sliced scallion garnish. Had the fried calamari, large portion. Crispy, not at all greasy like other places who can't fry food. It was done right. For sushi we had the Money (must try), spicy salmon and rainbow roll. All were excellent. Also a surprise was the Taro ( fatty tuna) very fresh. Slices were huge! The Shrimp pad thai was excellent, my friends first try. David sent over a tasting of seared Taro neck bone. Perfectly done. Meat was tender...fab! Hope you'll incorporate Pork Belly Buns in to the app menu. My friends and I would love that.

I went last night and had a great time. I ordered the Lady in Red sushi. It was excellent. It was the right combination of sweet, and savory with the right amount of spice. My wife, who isn't normally a sushi fan loved it also. I also ordered the Kung Poa chicken which also was good. The portion sizes were large which left a lot to take home. The waiter Chris, was attentive, friendly and very helpful. This is definitely a must do again.

First time at this location since Wasabii opened. We had the hibachi and it was great! They put on the normal show, but I thought the rice and veggies were some of the best hibachi I've eaten. I would recommend checking this place out!

stopped in hungry. stayed at the bar for the hockey game (stanley cup). they also have a separate sushi bar and hibachi tables. definitely 5 stars for greensburg. sushi is range of perfect sashimi to the city's nakama & cooked rolls. the chefs will work around you if you want more authentic and has good skill. there is a bunch of typical american hibachi style steak and general tsaos too. something for everyone out here in Latrobe, greensburg, and ligioner that you usually can only get by driving an hour into the city. good service too.

Definitely one of the best places to get sushi and Chinese food in Greensburg area. The fish is fresh and delicious. The service is impeccable. These guys most definitely know how to run a restaurant. This place has no remnants of the old Super Panda.

This place has only been open for 3 months. My review is only for the sushi which I had at the sushi bar. Overall I would rate the sushi was pretty good for Pittsburgh and outstanding for Greensburg. Hopefully Greensburg will support this restaurant - it is certainly a step up from most of the restaurants around here.

Simply stated, the sushi rolls are good and they're big, and the service is decent. Nothing to get excited about, though. I was disappointed in the lack of description in the menu of the sushi rolls, especially their specialty rolls. With names like "Snow White", "TNT", etc.. that gives me no insight as to whats in them. Is is crab? Eel? Is there sauce? If youre expecting me to pay $13 or $16 dollars per roll, it'd be nice to know what I'm ordering first. When i asked our server if there was a list with descriptions on it, he said he could tell me whatever i needed to know, and then he couldnt.. so frustrating! Luckily, we liked what we ordered, and even ordered more. But cmon people.. i dont think its too much to ask for a simple explanation of what I'm ordering!

I'm not sure exactly why this restaurant is rated so highly. Let's start from the beginning... I went there for lunch today at approximately 12:45. I found it kind of odd when I walked in that there was one single couple in the entire place. You would think there would still be a lunch crowd finishing meals. This place was a pretty decent size. Looks not so spectacular from the outside (especially the generic looking banner to advertise the facilities name) but it's actually kept very nice inside and the decor is pretty interesting. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and I chose to sit at the sushi bar. I was told the sushi here was reputable so I was eager to try it. As I sat down at the sushi bar there were 4 employees sitting at another bar watching television and on their cell phones. (I don't think a single one of them moved the entire time I was there). My server approached me promptly and was very polite when taking my food order. It entailed a spicy tuna roll and a Philadelphia roll, (two of my favorite rolls), with a ginger dressing side salad and water. Typically Japanese salads are iceberg and carrots with dressing. This one had a cucumber and gigantic tomato, not a big deal to me. The salad had potential If it wasn't completely crowded with shredded carrots and overloaded in dressing. I am not exaggerating at all on this one, it was practically a half pound of shredded carrots and so so much dressing that had onion overload in it. I am a huge fan of ginger dressing and was pretty disappointed with this one. It left a pretty horrible taste lingering in my mouth all day even after brushing and chewing gum. It took the sushi chef a while to come out to the front and start my sushi rolls, maybe he was waiting a while for me to eat my salad first, I don't know. But there wasn't anyone else there ordering food so I'm not sure what the hold up was. The presentation of the sushi wasn't anything special. Just your normal 6 piece sushi rolls with wasabi and pickled ginger. I first tried the spicy tuna roll. It seemed maybe warmer than room temp which immediately made me a little squeamish. I also don't like it when they almost purée the tuna, it's normally thinly sliced which is more appealing to me. There wasn't anything "spicy" about the roll, I'm not sure if he forgot the spicy mayo or what (the counters were too high to watch him roll them). It was just nori with purée tuna and panko inside rice and sesame seeds. It kind of grossed me out and I actually didn't finish that roll. The Philadelphia I kind of forced my way through. It was your typical, smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado. This roll could have and potential if the cream cheese slices weren't so enormous. The salmon had a nice smokey flavor, but it was all taken away by the enormous chunk of chewy cream cheese, that seemed to take forever to chew and swallow. I fought my way through this one but managed to finish this roll before noticing the thermometer in the sushi cooler teetering on borderline red zone. I normally don't let a sushi roll go unfinished but I was definitely willing to let these go. I'm normally not such a harsh critic when I eat out, but I was really looking forward to eating here because I haven't found a good sushi spot yet. I actually took a class and learned how to make my own, because I had yet to find anything worthy since moving here. Really let down on this one.

Truly sub par, maybe hibachi would have been better, the food was overall bland, I took my father here and most of his food was burnt, he's not the type to complain but in this case he did. I guess I just expected more.

Just got here Saturday night at 8 pm. Restraunt is 30% full. When I walked in host was in the middle of eating so he couldn't ask me how many people. I asked him if I could just sit at the sushi bar and he pointed me in that direction and brought me a menu. About 5 minutes went buy and the host saw that I was still sitting there and nobody had come to take my drink order. He yelled at a waitress and pointed my way. She then completed what she was doing and came over to take my drink order. Since I had time to look over the menu I ordered a chefs special flaming volcano, spicy salmon, and philly roll. I believe they noticed the delay in taking my order and gave me a crab salad the was crab and cucumbers on the house. It was tasty. I had to ask to receive soy sauce when my meal came. The food came and the special was good. The spicy salmon was not spicy and was mush and didn't have any flavor but the texture of cool mush. The Philadelphia roll was average but was cut very thick, so it was hard to chew. Overall it's what you can expect for a sushi Restraunt in a small city in Pennsylvania. The flavor is not as good as Robokyo but the atmosphere is a lot better. So they in my mind are the same. This place had very poor service. They were way over staffed which left plenty of people standing around talking to other employees. Which distracts them from checking on customers. Another waitress brought my check after I requested it since my waitress got into a 20 minute conversation.

Had an early dinner there last night. Sushi items were recommended and so glad I tried some. Our table had the Wasabii Roll, crabmeat, avocado, spicy tuna and the Crazy Tuna Roll. Both were delicious, pretty and portions were generous. One of our party tried the Chinese menu and ordered the Spicy Trio and was pleased with it too. Decor was very nice, clean, modern atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service was quick and efficient. I will definitely be going back to try some more dishes.

I had an enjoyable night out with the girls at wasabi. Two of us got the hibachi and the other two ordered off the menu. Our chef was fun and entertaining. The fresh made fried rice was delicious, and the portions were beyond generous. I was also happy that there was an option of brown rice. Overall it was a fun night.

Late night driving down the pa turnpike, when my wife who has felt like crap all day says "I want miso soup" at 10:30pm not only did they make a wonderful soup but some quick rolls for me. Nothing amazing about the rolls to report just your stander cal roll and philly roll the fish was fresh. The best part was they even gave my wife another bowl of soup to go. This might not be some 5 star super nyc sushi bar but with the customer service you get and the nice over all vibe you won't know that. If I ever find my self in the area again I will be stopping in.

Best sushi in Westmoreland County. Staff was great and friendly. Had five people at the table and everyone was more than satisfied with their dinner. Everyone said most definitely will be back.

Our experience was not the best. Had an avocado salad and ordered sushi. Waitress mentioned a wait due to a single sushi chef which made the place seem under staffed for a Friday night. Ordered tempura rolls and they came out quicker than we expected but were cold. At the same time as this, the manager was trying to calm down the angry patrons at the table next to us. They had been waiting upwards of 45 minutes for their food. Waitress and manager were both telling them different stories. Sounded like their order was made with sesame seeds and should not have been. Given their description, it sounded like our food was faster than except because it was from their incorrect order. That would also explain why it was cold. Manager took the rolls that should have been warm off of our bills but he told me "I am not trying to argue but these are not supposed to be warm" don't know about the rest of you but I am not a fan of cold fried food. As this was our first visit, this experience did not leave a good impression.
