Great fresh Mexican food. They have unique items that you don't find at every Mexican restaurant. Be sure to try the Pollo al Chipotle for a creamy pepper sauce with just a kiss of heat (similar to a vodka sauce). They also have a great dessert menu.

I love this restaurant! My husband and I have been coming here for two years. The staff is fabulous and so is the food! It is BYOB too! I've been to a lot of Mexican Places in the area and nothing compares. I did wish they played some kind of music in the restaurant but have gotten used to it at this point.

The food was decent, the decor was nice, but there wasn't any music... It was so quiet and awkward. I've only been there once, but I will return for decent Mexican. :)

My husband and I have been here for lunch twice. Both times the food and service were excellent. We highly recommend the fajitas! The space is beautiful and the servers are beyond friendly. A terrific addition to the food options in the area.

Lovely decor, very stylish wooden floor & accents. The Sala and chips were great, as were the soda & tea for our table. We enjoyed a range of tacos, fajitas, & enchiladas. Our waitress was so nice as was the manager, very friendly & attentive. A gem in Greencastle, quiet & welcoming. Delisious food, great service, and very reasonably priced.

Walked in and the place was completely empty except for us. Waitress finally came over to give us a basket of stale chips and took our drink orders. When drinks came, no straws ever appeared and when we ordered our food she didn't write down the orders so she came back to ask again what my partner wanted. As for the food, average Mexican, nothing special, sauce with cheese on top of my burrito was lumpy and sauce runny. For being the only two people in the restaurant, service was horrible. Waitress came to check only once when giving a to go box I asked for. When we paid, I had asked originally for separate checks and they gave us only one. I brought up the problem and they apologized in broken English and rung up two, but mine was incorrect I was told after I had already paid. Finally left and my partner got some candy at the register only to find it was expired. This is unacceptable as the only customers in the building when there were plenty of employees to make a better dining expierence. Will not be returning again.

Have to say it beats Montezuma on atmosphere and grilled food ( carne ) . That said the service and chips and price are not as good. if your in Greencastle no need to travel for mexican food and as always if in Pa BYOB if you want La Cerveca.

Went to dinner here several months ago when they first opened and had a negative experience. No one spoke English so my wife's order was wrong and sent back 3 times. We went back and they now have English speaking waiters. The place was barren at dinner time on a Saturday evening. The service was better but the food was average. No alcohol license is a bummer.

Glad to see a good Mexican restaurant make it into Greencastle. I hope that they can get plenty of people into this location since it is slightly hidden.

Really enjoyed the food. Very clean and new space. Nicely-sized portions and very reasonably-priced lunch specials. Definitely try the homemade Habanero salsa - great flavor!

Highly reccommend. Better food than Montezumas or your typical Mexican restaurant. Similar menu and prices to what you'd expect.

I drive from Hagerstown to eat at this restaurant. Food is always fresh, staff is nothing short of amazing. I just wish they had music playing, it can get really quiet in there. Would also be cool if they got their liquor license.

Really good food! Atmosphere is too quiet but the enchiladas are great! Leave room for the choco chimichanga!!

This place is GORGEOUS! From the hardwood floors to the charming decor, I was feasting my eyes on more than their delicious food. I ordered an enchilada combo platter. For 8.25, you get the world: rice, beans, THREE enchiladas and free re-fills on whatever you're drinking. Our waitress was a sweetheart who was always making sure we got what we needed. Love this place. Reminds me of when I lived in the Southwest. Don't let this place pass you by!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
