Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Just moved to the area, and we're trying out pizza places. This place had decent food, so we ordered here a few times. But never again! We placed a grub hub order for two dinners on a Sunday night. It took over an hour for the food to get to us, and when we got it there was an incorrect dinner. I wouldn't have worried about it, but we paid extra for it and my husband was disappointed. So I called to see if they could replace the dinner with what we had ordered. The man who answered was apologetic, but told us they were closed (9 pm) and couldn't do anything to correct the order, but would credit us the full price of our order and put a note on our grub hub account. I thought that was really nice and professional of him. So we ordered again 3 nights later and I called to apply our credit to the order I placed. The owner answered and rudely told us he would never approve such a credit and that we would get $3 credit tops. I cancelled my placed order on the spot and will never be ordering from here again. The owner seemed totally fine with that. It's definitely not worth dealing with the rude owner and the $5 delivery fee they charge!

Truly seems to be hit or miss anymore...not sure what's happening in there. I had a pleasant experience recently when I asked the owner about ordering some broccoli rabe for a party I was having. He was happy to accommodate and made enough broccoli rabe for about 40 people for only $20 or so. On the flip side, I've placed orders online that have never shown up...

Serious contender for best pizza in DelCo. Excellent philly style pizza. Great specials and the fastest delivery I've ever encountered. Ordered at 550, received at 623, pizza and a hoagie. That being said, their hoagie needs some work. I'll give it another shot.

Ordered Baked Ziti with a side salad. The next day I decided to eat the salad for lunch and noticed a live bug crawling around half way threw(container was never opened until lunch). After looking further I noticed 3 or 4 more...... not ok. I called the restaurant to make the aware and the guy made me feel like it was my fault... saying they washed the salad. No apology. I will never eat there again. Beware!

Ordered a medium pizza which is $13.99 on their menu. With delivery and tip I was expecting to pay around $20. The delivery guy showed up with a large pizza and my total was $22 without tip. When I questioned the price he said there wasn't anything he could do. Asked if I wanted the pizza or not. Very poor customer service. The pizza was ok...not great. No reason for me to ever go here again. I hear they are moving out of this space. Hopefully someone who cares about their customers will take over.

Believe the hype and the history, this place makes a good pie. Their large pizzas are gigantic. The sauce has a lighter taste and is pretty enjoyable throughout. The crust is crispy and plentiful. Delivery was quick. Definitely going to give it another try soon.

Pizza Villa has delicious Sicilian pizza and their cheese fries are to die for! They use the "real" cheese whiz, which is the ONLY way to go when you want to eat something really unhealthy and guilt inducing, but delicious. I recommend Pizza Villa if you like Sicilian pizza (thicker-crust, square shaped). It greasy, but it's good.

Where do I start with this place? I decided to try this place for the first time because of a deal from groupon. I live in Glenolden, and somehow never ordered from this place before. Well, I'll tell you my story. I ordered 2 large pizzas that were supposed to have the topping of my choice, with 25 wings and a soda. That was I had already paid groupon for. Well he had no problem taking my order until I told him I had a groupon. He told me no toppings were to be added on my pizza unless I paid extra. I agreed and said that's fine, but I will let groupon know that because this isn't what I paid for. I get there and tell him my order and he tries to charge me $30. I told him that's not the way it works.. It is already paid for in advance. That is how groupon works. After a minute of arguing back and fourth he told me I had to pay the tax. I agreed and said "I know I do. That's fine" So anyway, after I get home open the boxes of pizza and it looks like they were in the oven for about 2 minutes. The pizza was terrible and after counting the wings they stiffed me on 15 of those too. Unfortunately I went back because the groupon I bought at their pizza place was for 2 different orders. The 2nd groupon I ordered by phone first. I came in to pick up the 2 cheesesteaks I ordered and gave him the groupon. He complained that by me paying with a groupon that he was only going to make $2.. I told him "I'm sorry, but I already paid in advance for this food. It isn't my fault you don't understand the way it works and your losing money but you already got my money in advance." He than refused my service, refused to give me my food and sent me out of the store. I immediately emailed groupon reported, him and his business. Groupon doesn't like when people have unsatisfactory service, especially the poor service I went through. they gave me a full refund so I couldn't be happier to never go to this place ever again. Unsatisfactory pizza by far..Unsatisfactory customer service skills by far..Get your pizza elsewhere. Seriously go to Walmart and cook a frozen pizza yourself.. Save yourself the Hassle and aggravation.

My boyfriend had talked this pizza up, so I was expecting wonderful pizza. Apparently this place used to be in SouthWest philly, but moved here some time ago. Neighbors of my bf used to get this pizza all the time, and it was supposedly awesome. I wasn't really that impressed. It was super greasy, kind of dough-y in the middle...it was an okay pizza. I won't be ordering from here again - we ordered a large, thinking we'd have it for lunch the next day (since it was going to be *awesome*)...it was over $20, which I found ridiculous. Although it was a VERY large pizza - it could of served us for a few meals. The vast amounts of grease kind of turned us both off...and we had to throw a lot of the pizza away since we couldn't handle anymore grease in one weekend. I was also disappointed that upon calling they said it would take "30 mins" and we got there after 40 minutes, and STILL had to wait. I will say that the people were very kind - and the man who made the pizza (possibly the owner) has a lot of pride in his work, kept talking about how this was gonna be a great pizza and it's so beautiful, we should take a picture of it, and on and on. I did take a picture of the pizza when we got home...pepperoni large - so you can see yourselves. It's decent pizza if you like it super greasy, but it's not my style.

Disclaimer: I can't say I've actually ordered from here myself. However I have sampled both their pizza and wings at local events I've attended. I'd call their pizza on par with what you get locally. I wasn't blown away by it to the point where I'd have to order it over my current favorite places. But it is certainly decent. I'd call their wings good, but I'd also say that other nearby places make better wings. Basically, with the competition on Mac Dade Blvd, I'd put this place squarely in the middle of the pack based on my experience.
