For years this was our go to place for Chinese take-out. The food was good & delivery quick. HOWEVER, something has changed drastically! Our last (and final) order was beyond horrible. My family ordered three different items (beef, chicken, pork). Unfortunately, they all had the same disgusting mystery meat. None of us could eat it. Even my 86 y.o. father who eats anything. All I could think about were (dare I say it)...cats! YUK!

Absolutely disgusting. Everything had the same taste, dirty dish water. From the soup to the general tso chicken. We ordered about $25.00 worth of food and it all went in the trash; The staff was super nice and the delivery was quick; but it was a waste of both time and money as the food was not edible.

Nothing special. I order here bc its very close. Shrimp toast is blaaaah. Chicken w black bean sauce is blaaaah. Chow fun is blaaaaah. There was bone particles in my chicken the other day. I will only order from here if I am desperate.

Great meals! Rice was spot on and super hot and fresh! Crab Rangoon done to perfection piping hot. Sweet and sour pork cooked perfectly! Chicken with veggies done perfect (and I'm picky) brown sauce done perfect. Boneless spare ribs great, not dried out and chewy. Glad we finally found a good chinese restaurant since the one we used to go to closed out of the blue! Service was friendly and meal was done quickly

I'm a big fan of the great wall, I go here about once every month or two. They have the same stuff all the other chinese take out places in the area have, but the quality of the food is higher than the others. The prices are reasonable and the owner is seemingly always there and is very friendly as are the girls who work the front counter. I never get chinese food from anywhere else anymore, cause great wall is the best around. Give em a try, especially if you usually go to that other place down the street in Ridley Park.

This spot is great for my Chinese craving. There are lots of other Chinese food spots in delco and some of them are better but Great Wall is close by for me, the staff is friendly, and as with most Chinese , the service is quick. The guy that I think is the owner is friendly and always says hello and thank you. He runs the business well. My only complaint is that they never turn in heat in the winter so while they are back by the cooking area the customers are freezing up front and in summer no air. Give this place a try!

I got Hunan Chicken, Vegatable Fried Rice and a Pork Eggroll. It was average Chinese food. I was satisfied, but not blown away by any of it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
