Great Chinese take out place, food is always good and filling. Pricing is average but you do get some free items when you hit certain price points. Sometimes it takes a little longer than their quoted time when you order, but generally, they are fast. Would recommend for good Chinese take out.

I signed up for Grub Hub and I thought what better way to spend a $7 off coupon than on chinese food on pay day. AmIright? So I ordered some teriyaki chicken, chicken low mein, cold noodles with sesame sauce and a pizza roll on the website. Don't judge me, I had to spend $15 to get $7 off. The order came within the time frame that the website offered and I was able to put the delivery tip on my card which I'm always a fan of. Who carries cash anyway? I'm guessing people who don't wait until payday to get half off chinese food. The teriyaki chicken came on sticks and each stick kept breaking. The struggle, guys. It was so real. My order was wrong. The sesame noodles were dry (see photo) and I got cabbage with rice (see photo) to which my boss replied, "Why would they send you cabbage, don't they know you poop enough?" ... I don't know whatever happened to my chicken lo mein. I got what I paid for. Or didn't pay for.

I will never go back to this place again. I have ordered here several times and it was alway good not great but decent for the price. However last night I officially will never return. I ordered chicken wings and white rice and gravy...my typical dish. However this time the wings were given to me bloody on the inside and the gravy had a spoiled smell and different look to it. I am not sure what was wrong today but the look of my food nearly made me throw up!! It was sickening and I will never return to this place again!!!

I decided to order Chinese for delivery to yet another hotel. I was in the mood for something with lots of veggies and shrimp without a ton of salt or sugar knowing that technically my trainer was gonna loose his mind if he discovered the amount of carbs I was willing to negotiate. I wanted to at least try to pretend that I could be healthy for a few hours. Enter stage left... A menu called No. 1 China. It is a wee bit scary to eat at a place calling itself "no one" but, I only lived twice in Philly and thought it worth the try.

DO NOT GO HERE! Do not waste your time and money. I have had food delivered to my hotel room a few times and I was totally ripped off. This is the WORST "Chinese" food ever. 1) I was lied to about the price of the menu items that I didn't even receive. For example, I was told that I got an "outdated" menu, so I was charged "$15" for "seafood noodles," even though they were about $10 on the paper menu. When I got the food, I got noodles with way too much soy sauce (without ANY ingredients, much less seafood). No wants to pay $15 for cheap, salty noodles. 2) Other times, I paid for seafood noodles and I got vegetables instead. Therefore, I kept on overpaying for food orders that were messed up. 3) A lot of the menu items were not available and/or missing and/or substituted. 4) The delivery guy was dirty, coughed, and might have been sick. So, I gave him the money and I did not want the change (extra tip money) back. Therefore, he got a huge tip that he did not deserve. 5) The "Chinese" food is not authentic. There is no reason to have a dish with "Chinese vegetables" when the dish does not even have Chinese broccoli in it (which is different from American broccoli). 6) The food and service are horrible. Every food delivery experience has been a nightmare. Please go to a better restaurant.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
