The situation was desperate in the Suburban. Three kids, my wife, and grandma had pulled an emergency exit from our cabin in Susquehanna County at 9 AM- get up, dressed, vacuum, and load the car- to flee the area before 3 to 5 inches of snow fell, that would eventually cause a pile-up on I-81 three miles south of our exit. So, after a long morning with virtually no food- and a long ride down the turnpike to Allentown- the kids were ready to gnaw on each other, grandma was passed out, and I was picturing scenes from the Donner party, and it was more appetizing than repulsive. In that context, we stumbled off 22 at 100 at11 AM for food. And Queens NY Deli was what we found...serves breakfast, lunch, and would feed the army. Food was ordered at the counter, and in reasonable time (before sons numbers 2 and 3 could get in an all-out brawl over the restaurant's TV remote/show selection), food was up...ironically, the pancake took the longest, but then again, it was nearly 3/4 inch thick and 7 inches in diameter, so perhaps it's understandable. My western omelet, home fries and toast ($6) was fine...nothing more, nothing less. Wife had the same, and, to quote her, "It was good. Nothing outstanding...it was good". Kids' burgers were a good size, cooked well, and accompanied by fries...cost per burger was $7. Grandma's pancake was monstrous, and she took half home with her. $2, I believe. $40,in all, for 6. No drinks, besides a coffee. Service was good; owner/cook and friendly counter waitress (daughter?) both asked several times if everything was ok. So, kudos for asking! In all, it was fine. I'm not sure it's "I'd drive back from Lancaster County for breakfast-good", but it served a good purpose for us. Prices seemed NYC-steep, but then again, that's the price for living along the highway to NYC. Would I stop by again in an equally desperate situation? Yes. But if _____(fill in the blank)...probably not.

Stayed at the hotel next door but went here for breakfast every day, even though we had one free at the hotel if we wanted. My son and I had the bacon & egg croissant, and my wife had the bagel & cream cheese. Every day the good was great and the service excellent. We will be back next week and will stop in again

I've had good and bad luck with this place. Sometimes things are good and sometimes not. They occasionally have salt bagels which are my favorite and rare in the lehigh valley. I've heard that this is under new ownership as of Summer 2013. With the old owners- sometimes there were issues with the order being incorrect. Also, the last time I was in here the girl gave me change from the till and then made my sandwich- that was pretty gross!

Go once and you will never go again! Who puts country crock on a bagel instead of butter?? This place does! Disgusting place everything is so gross! They need to stop trying to fool people with the NY names. This is nothing like NY, NJ or even Pa, or anyplace that has taste buds.

If I could give it a 0, I would. Being a New Yorker, traveling across PA, I see a place that has Queens in the title, I figure some safety should come along with that. Wrong. A bagel is a bagel? No, it is not. Is it the water in the dough in NY, or is it that the people making them have contempt for every single person that walks through the door. Whatever it is, a NY bagel is the only way to go. Mushroom Omelet? The mushroom capital of the world is only a few miles south from here in Avondale PA. So how could a mushroom omelet be such a bland, boring mess. Hash Browns? Fry up some potatoes and onions, done. Simple, right? Wrong. Just wrong. And that's what these were, all kinds of wrong. The staff was nice. A little too nice. Too nice that it was weird. Like they were some kind of cult runners. "Join us." I thought I heard them whisper at one point. Maybe again that is the New Yorker in me. Anytime someone is nice in the service industry, I feel as if they are up to something. That was definitely the case here. Now I know better. Wrap up; Keep driving.

Bagels small and flavorless. Kinda of too hard for it only being 11am in the morning. If you are going to be heading south on route 100, might as well make a left on Hamilton and go to Three Men and a Bagel. Bagels still on the small side but much better turnaround provides a fresher and better tasting bagel. We won't be back, ever.

Went to this place because the place we usually go made their bagels smaller. So we decided to try. The bagels were Quite small and understandably being 11 AM they still should not have been able to crush granite. They were hard and tasteless. I think going back to the original place may be in order. I suppose large soft fresh bagels are not the wave of the future. Skip this place.

Not good. That's all that can be said. As a New Yorker, I'm embarrassed to see a bagel place with a city name.

I live locally and have come here plenty of times only Because I keep hoping the service gets better. Obviously it hasn't, the counter service is as experienced As a twelve year old. The food I've had is okay when they get it right.
