Decent Mediterranean cuisine. Definitely family style food. fattoush salad was good Mix kebab platter was worth the try. Hummus is tasty almost like if it was homemade (maybe it is) baklava were excellent, unfortunately they buy them from another place. owner is very friendly only cash/visa/MasterCard

Grape leaves were worth the visit alone! Great food, incredibly kind service, great experience! Wifi & BYOB also.

I eat here regularly and it is consistently good. I love the house dressing on the Mediterranean salad.

You have to eat here! But make sure you leave some hummus for me! We have eaten here a few times now and my hubs loves their falafel and i really enjoy the gyro. But the hummus is the star, I dream about it! When we have come here on week nights it hasn't been too busy, about 1/4 full. They do take out as well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Best stuffed grape leaves in the valley. Salads are tasty. Falafel kinda sucks. Staff is very friendly.

Very unassuming, very good honest cooking. Try the lamb kebabs. Oh, so tender!

I had good service and good food; always a good combination. The Mediterranean gyro was just the right proportions of meat to yogurt sauce. I would go back again. They do not take american express though

Tahini chicken was amazing, as was the beef shish kebab hubby got. Took a chance on this place on our way to a weekend away. What a find!

Delicious alternative to fast food. On a recent road trip, we got off this exit for gas and I decided to check Yelp to see what food options were in the area. This restaurant had good ratings and we like Mediterranean food, so we dropped in. The place is a no frills family restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said? Fantastic cafe!!! Happened to drop in as I was traveling to and from duty stations wearing a military uniform. Got a smoking discount on the food. Always, always, always appreciated!!!

Oh my god! Best gyro ever and the side salad with garlic dressing is delicious too! That's the place to visit over lunch. I'm so hooked on it I never tried anything else.

I used to go to this restaurant every day when I worked around the area. The food was always EXCEPTIONAL, food was prompt, and the owners were very friendly. Since I have moved further away, we sometimes drive the distance for their kabobs!

We stopped here with our 2 children on the way back from Hershey Park PA to New Jersey. This is about the midway point so we often end up stopping at this exit but usually we hit one of the chain restaurants. Today we decided to roll the dice and try one of the strip mall restaurants and we were so glad we did! We all had the Chicken Tahini Sandwich and Salad combo. When the salad came and we tried it we were very happy with it. The dressing had a nice spice to it and it tasted homemade. Lots of garlic! I had a feeling that the sandwich was going to be good based on the salad and I was right about that. As Guy Fieri says "Out of the Park"! It was totally amazing. Both my wife and I have never had Tahini sauce like that. Again there was a lot of garlic and some heat and it was just out of this world. Too bad this place is about 100 miles from our house. The next time we are on a road trip on I-78 we will definitely be back!

The Tabouli salad was sitting in literally an inch and a half of oil, i had to keep draining the container and it just seeped into all the other ingredients, ruining any flavor. The spinach pies were listless and had barely any spinach although the taste was decent. Unfortunately I will have to keep searching for a good Mediterranean place in the area.

I was here with Blanco Jonny last weekend for lunch. I had baba ganoush - was very good and dolma aka stuffed grape leafs, I didn't care for it. It was warm, which I'm not used too. I have always had it cold. Service was good. I'd go back.

Nice family restaurant nestled in a strip mall. Clean tables, oil paintings decorate the walls, large dishes, well prepared delicious salad, lamb kebab was very tasty.

Passing threw town and staying with my family at a hotel within walking distance. What a great find. Food was delicious and people were terrific. I wish i knew that i needed to call ahead of time to get the kibbe naya.

Excellent food, Fair prices, Varied menu, I've been to lunch once and dinner twice. Very Friendly owners but indifferent wait staff (owners children) needs training in attitude and how to be attentitive to customers instead of waiting behind counter to be summond by customers.. The Faoul is outstanding as is the Arnabeet mekli (fried cauliflower with tahini sauce) Dinners are a real value; portions are generous, include salad,, a large helping of hommus .and a choice from several side dishes. They are open till 8PM so there's time for a relaxed dinner before closing.

I was in town on business and wanted to try some hummus. I got the chicken platter which came with a salad, hummus, grilled vegetables and a piece of pita. The hummus and chicken as great. I really enjoyed them. The salad had too much dressing for me so if I go back, I will ask for it on the side. The pita bread was served cold and it was on the thin side but other than that it was standard pita. I was a little disappointed in the vegetables. The flavor was pretty good, but they were over cooked and a little soggy. The other negative is that the service was a bit slow. The teenage waitress didn't ask if I needed anything (drink refill) until after I was finished eating. Considering I was reading a book while I was eating, and they served the salad before the rest of the meal, this was quite a wait. Overall, I enjoyed the food. The prices were a bit high, but I would eat there again.

Best Greek salad and Gryo we know of!! We have eaten here many, many times and have started to take friends and work friends in as well. If you like some garlic, the Greek salad is awesome and a must have. It is a family business, and I read from others the service may not be top notch, so go for the food and enjoy, with a smile on your face.

Ordered a falafel sandwich and fattoush. The fattoush had stale vegetables with some dressing which tasted like medicine. The falafel was salty, tasted stale and the pita was elastic! Would never go back here, however service was great.

Small Restaurant Faces Obstacles - Will It Succeed? Pros: Menu offers something for most people. Good intentions of the café. Cons: Vegetables were overcooked. Teenage staff needs a lesson in customer service. Neither beer nor wine available for sale. Suggestion: Support a small local business. Star Ratings: - Overall: 3 - Vegetable Kabob: 2 - Chicken Kabob: 4 - Rice: 3 - Quantity: 3 - Menu: 3 - Service: 2 - Price: 4 - Value: 3 - Atmosphere: 3 I really wanted to like this place. My wife and I were visiting family in Allentown for 8 days and saw this restaurant was rated 4 stars by Yelp reviewers. We tried it since we enjoy "Mediterranean" food ( typically Greek and Middle Eastern ) and most Yelpers have not led us astray. - Food: I had a vegetable kabob with rice and a side salad. There was a nice variety of vegetables, but they were soft and overcooked. The rice was fine, especially mixed with some yogurt. The salad was small and unremarkable, but since it was meant to accompany and not replace an entrée, it was adequate. My wife's chicken kabob proved to be more successful. She claimed the meat was just right and pronounced it to be aromatic and tasty. Portions were medium size which is usually okay, but I was hungry so the dish of hummus and small basket of pita bread were a welcome sight. Both were good and I wish there was more of each. Unfortunately, the Mediterranean Café does not sell beer or wine. A bottle of Mythos in a cold glass goes a long way on a warm day...even if you need to imagine yourself on a Greek Island. - Menu: There were lots of interesting appetizers and entrees to sample, though as with anything else, it's not what's written on the page but the execution which counts. - Price and Value: Menu prices are moderate. Probably the going rate for the neighborhood. Value is subjective. Since my dish was okay, it's value to me was so-so. However, my wife really liked her meal, so her value was higher. - Service: The café is a family run business. The owner was multi-tasking...as owners often do...and various young people prepared or served the food. Our server was a teenager, about 15, who seemed well intentioned, but eventually focused on her homework at the next table in between handling dishes. She did ask us a couple of times if there was anything she could do, but it sounded more perfunctory than sincere. - Atmosphere: The small café is located in the middle of a shopping strip along the west side of route 100 and a few blocks north of I-78. As previous people noted, the shop is unpretentious with 10-12 round tables which can accommodate 4 diners apiece. "Low key" is a good description. The main reason I hoped for a good outcome was not to get a great meal....although that never hurts. It's my knowledge ( from experience ) of the numerous issues and conflicts in owning and managing a small food business. Most don't survive despite backbreaking hours, untold frustration and often minimal net compensation. At least in this one instance, I detected a restaurant trying to hold it together with an uncertain future. For people reading this review, I'd give them a chance.

Love everything on the menu, real authentic Middle East cuisine. Very friendly warm atmosphere, they treat you like family and special request are no problem. It is a BYOB which helps to make it reasonable.

Went here yesterday for takeout. Had a delicious Mediterranean Gyro. Friendly staff and great food!! I've dined here before, but yesterday, I was handed my combo and faced with a decision. Inform the gentleman I hadn't paid for my order or walk out with a free lunch. I decided to be honest. Which YOU should do faced with same situation. My honesty was rewarded with my choice of pistachio or walnut baklava on the house. I felt awesome throughout most of the day. I did something right and won a treat. A tasty, flaky, nutty treat. Also, they make a killer Arabic coffee. Or maybe it's Arabian coffee. Either way, it's high test coffee. Makes drunkin' donuts coffee look like a beeotch. And it won't give you heartburn five minutes after consuming it. Just eat here already. If you don't like it, track me down. We can dine on mass produced frozen crap at some cookie cutter restaurant while you sob about how awful your experience was.

Was in town for a business trip, I had chicken gyro and baklava both are good. The guy who runs this place is very friendly, except the teenagers who does service ! Prices are very reasonable compared to other Mediterranean places in town. Worth trying food here.

I had a craving for arnabeet (cauliflower with tahini sauce and spices) and I was really happy to see they had this as an appetizer...a little pricier than a couple of the other Mediterranean places that have this dish in the Lehigh Valley. I also picked up some grape leaves after reading some of the reviews about them being the best they've ever eaten. So the arnabeet was delicious. A little bit tart from lemon I'm guessing...but the addition of parsley and diced tomatoes was nice. The tahini sauce had really good flavor and the portion of cauliflower was a decent size. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with it. It fulfilled my cravings. I just wish they gave a little more for the cost of it. I wasn't happy with the grape leave. I don't know what the most authentic grape leaves are like, but from what I've had, they typically have lots of flavor--some tartness from the grape leaf and the spices in the rice. Sometimes the rice filling is a little dry and in my experience, that's what makes it a bad grape leaf. But after eating these grape leaves, I have a new criteria for badness. There were no spices mixed into the rice at all...and the meat lacked spice as well. So it was basically a grape leaf filled with white rice and some meat crumbles. The only flavor it had came from the grape leaf itself, which in itself was lacking that tartness I like and usually get from other grape leaves. The only redeeming quality was that they give you a good amount. In the end, it was tolerable but I will not be ordering these again.

This place is a total gem! At first I thought it was just a take out place, but once I walked inside I was greeted by a young lady at the counter who politely let me know to grab a seat and that she would be around to take my order. I ordered the lamb skewers and a side of the yogurt. Dining in, I also received salad and a side of warm pitas with delicious hummus. In addition to all that, I also got french fries with the meal. The lamb was so deliciously tender and juicy. The yogurt really complimented the lamb. This restaurant/cafe is BYOB. I also think it closes pretty early...like around 8, so double check before you go. Definitely check this place out! Its a very clean restaurant as well.

We found this restaurant while on a bus tour from Cincinnati. While the other geezers filed into the Cracker Barrel we decided to check out the shops on the other end.of the strip mall. The food is good and reasonably priced,, I uploaded a menu from a couple years ago. This is a nice family owned business.

Another fabulous meal at this place! The new owners (used to be euro king) cook like it is for themselves The French fries are the best I've ever had. I usualy get the gyro which is excellent. Tonight I got the hummus sandwich which was deliciously simple. I also tried the arnabit tonight (fried califlower) and it was beautifully served as well as delicious. My bf always gets the falafel sandwich and says it is the best in this area. Prices good and service nearly always excellent. You can see it is a family business and they really care. Oh - also the best baklava in the Lehigh valley . . . Well maybe not as good as olive branch in Bethlehem. If you had a bad meal here under the old ownership - try again - it is totally different.

The service is great. Grape leaves are ok not close to the ones at the allentown farmers market. Everything else was average. I don't think I'll be back.
