I was looking for Chinese restaurants on yelp to go to and this one came up. I realized I was here just a few weeks ago and didn't have a great experience. I have no idea how it has a 5 star rating. My friend and I both ordered lunch specials (a sesame chicken and beef lo mein). The food wasn't the greatest, but we left with full bellies. I don't have high standards for Chinese food, but I have had much better for the same price.

This is our go to chinese take out spot. Always great quality food. Fresh ingredients and flavor. I get the beef with broccoli. Never disappoints.

Love Hong Kong in Exton; they deliver, the food is always as expected and very tasty, and you've always got to love an open kitchen. Nothing hidden at Hong Kong except for their location in the back of the Marchwood Shopping center. If you like good take out or delivery Chinese food, give Hong Kong a shot. Great steamed dumplings, shrimp with broccoli, lo mien; everything tastes superb.

Our first time getting take out & we were not disappointed! Food was hot, fresh & delicious. We got shrimp HO fun, shrimp & broccoli, beef & mushrooms & steamed dumplings. Everything tasted very fresh & the open kitchen looked clean. Definitely going back!

It was good, and I over ate. LOL I was surprised. The ribs are not my favorite though, but the food was very nice. I loved their chicken on a stick. The delivery was fast

We recently tried Hong Kong Restaurant after many, many years of having gone elsewhere. What a nice surprise it was! The food is truly excellent!! Much better than you'd ever expect from a take out only chinese restaurant in an older strip center. We've gone back now at least a half a dozen times and every dish we've ordered has been delicious! From the wonton soup to the hot and sour soup to the orange beef to the Kung Po chicken to the Szechuan Chicken...well, everything we've tried really! And, as an added bonus the portions are large and prices reasonable. We're regulars now....and can't recommend them highly enough!!

Got the hot and sour soup and the chicken Lo Mein; It was delicious!! Service was fast and food was good. Vegetables in the Lo Mein were perfectly cooked; they still had some crunch and were not over cooked. The noodles were full of flavor. The hot and sour soup was well balanced. It was not too sweet and had the perfect amount of spicy heat.

Ordered a bunch of take out with the fam. Everything was still piping hot by the time they got back to us, which is always a plus. One interesting thing was that their General Tsos Chicken was spicier than most I've had (but more like it should be). The chicken chow mein was good, as was the wonton soup. They had cheese dumplings listed on the menu, but don't be fooled - they're Crab Rangoons! (I love those) All on all, it was a very good experience and I'd order from them again.

Hole in the wall - standard looking Chinese takeout place in a strip mall. But this food is way beyond anything I have ever had at a similar takeout place. This food is all fresh and wonderfully cooked. The steamed dumplings were some of the best I have had, and I have had dumplings at many places (including the homes of some of my Chinese friends). Service was quick and they were really friendly. Orange chicken and pork Ho Fun (flat noodles) were both very good. Large portions, great prices, they even gave us extra dumplings. I highly recommend this place.

Our family has been searching for really good Chinese food in the area and we found it! Everything we have ordered from here has been excellent. The prices are very affordable. There is one table to dine-in, but I wouldn't really suggest it. This is more of a carry out or delivery place. We especially love the Orange Chicken, but everything is great!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
