Oh boy! I feel like I have been transported to a far away land with the cuisine on display here. The flavors of Asia were all laid out before me. Now I k kW when you hear "Chinese buffet" you might be skeptical. But BELIEVE ME the food is as authentic as you can get. I ate the delicious Tasty Squid which was a texture and flavor I cannot describe! The seafood boil was also an exercise to my tastebuds. Yum! All in all a wonderful time and fantastic food. A bit expensive so save it for special occasions and loved ones b

Not a bad place to get a wide selection of Chinese if you can't make it or live closer to Ho Wah in Lemoyne. I found the flavor a bit lacking in some items, but wouldn't say I'd never go back. Dining experience is good for a buffet -- much better than a couple other buffets in Harrisburg. So, for the immediate area, it's a good place to go. They also do take-out.

I dont think I'd ever give a buffet higher than a four. This rating says that this place is average...not worse, not better. I was very pleased with the selection. Many pots of food were good, others didn't quite taste right ... probably due to the mass production. I will probably return and know which dishes to get or not get. I will note, the sushi was a mixed bag...some rolls were good, some not as good. All in all, hit or miss. I think I will be able to hit a lot more when I return. One final good note...nice ice cream selection as part of your dessert choices.

This review is for take out! I did not have a menu but I googled the Enola location and used their menu when placing my order. I ordered the Crab Delight (crab rangoons), General Tso's Tofu, Vegetable Lo Mein, and Sesame Shrimp (I like to make my own buffet at home). Everything was good, my favorite was the General Tso's! I've had better rangoons though, I prefer the flaky triangle ones and these were kinda spongy triangles, but I would still get them again! Oh yea, and there was no sweet and sour for the rangoons, so if you want that you better ask. The restaurant was pretty, and looked clean. My fiance said the buffet didn't like like anything special. I am just happy to have a decent place so close to home! If they start delivering that would be even better!

Just your average Chinese buffet. Not very large, average selection of Chinese buffet foods. Nothing in particular stands out and there are better options, but this is close and convenient.

Excellent food at the time of this review. General chicken was perfectly made with a glaze (not a watery slop that many buffets pass off on their customers) and had the correct balance of citrus and spice. (A first for me at a buffet). Tokyo chicken was very good. Excellent cooking method for their skewered chicken it had a light but tasty crunsh, perhaps a good quality egg wash. The pre cut "special steak" (similar to what I've seen called "mongolian beef" but far superior,) is a simple cut with a sweet glaze that suits the meat. The won-ton soup broth was watery and flavorless. Skip their soup. Probably the best Chinese Buffet I've seen in York County

Standard Chinese Buffett. Got there as they opened on a Sunday and everything was fresh and well prepared, especially the shrimp. Restaurant was clean and service prompt, would eat there again.

Amazing buffet. One of the best around in my opinion. Normally, buffets have a large selection of mediocre food, but this one has a large selection of very well prepared Chinese dishes.

Better than the previous options for Chinese and Sushi in the area, but still nothing special. Prices are average for this type of restaurant in this area, staff is friendly enough. The best thing going is the variety at the buffet. Sushi is minimal, but good. We get take out from here often. They are normally very efficient about it.

I LOVE YOUR FOOD! The sushi is always so fresh and the fried squid is so tasty. Highly recommend!!! Caution you will want to eat to much. Great food at a great price!

Not worth you time or money. They shut the sushi down and we never got any, like 2 hours before closing. The food was poor even for buffet food. I gave this place two tries now and left disappointed both times.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
